Seems like an interesting thing to put in Shaman, I think this would thrive most in some type of Midrange Shudderwock deck. I don't know how much a Quest will be wanted in a class that already has a Hero Card, though. Both the Quest and Hagatha the Witch are value-focused, and I think more players would opt for the passive spell gain over the increased battlecry value, but we'll see once all the cards are released.
I was expecting to see this effect for hunter. A bit disappointed to see it in Shaman honestly.
It seems [Hearthstone Card (Hagatha, The Witch) Not Found] could find a bog to shape even in sands. I wanted to see more element-oriented theme than witch-oriented one in this expansion. I mean, earth elementals, earth element spells etc. It is sands after all.
I'm still hoping that they didn't produce transform-themed and shapeshifter bog creature cards in this expansion too.
For the card itself, it is good on paper, especially with Lackeys. Sludge Slurpers and Lackeys make you complete it before t5. Sounds good but I hope it won't break the game.
and for the details, it makes you get double Battlecry of ALL minions on that turn. that means it might even have an OTK potential without Shudderwock. 8 Kobold Lackeys can deal 32 damage to the face, well there is only 7 minion room on the battlefield but that's all which comes to my mind right now. I m sure someone will figure out better and possible combos.
There is a nerf potential in this card, for the record. 6 minions seemed less to me with all of lackeys and card producing potential.
This has the potential to be really strong with the right cards but with what we currently have it seems kind of meh. it's basically spirit of the shark but might be a bit more flexible to use. Shaman doesn't actually have many good battlecries right now, and the ones they have don't actually have synergy with this. There are some decent neutrals but nothing you can build around.
I would assume they're going to give some battlecry support for this, and hopefully that comes with this expac. The 2/3 that draws a card if you have a quest seems good for getting the quest done quick.
Sadly you can't make the Jaws Bite with this hero power, but there are a ton of great stuff you can do with this hero power Only downside is you can't play this quest with Hagatha the Witch. Although you might put in both so you can choose which one you want, like what some people did with Scourgelord Gaorrosh and Sulfuras, but this is an automatic hero power change that you don't have much control over.
Fun looking card, can't wait to play with it thought... *laughs in giggling*
I really like this. The rewards as hero powers is way cooler than the previous quests, and i love battlecry synergy. I think people may to find a broken deck with this.
The potential for this is almost limitless. You can double up on Swampqueen Hagatha and the Drustvar Horrors, play Barista Lynchen to get a huge reload turn, or get 5 Dopplegangsters for a huge Evolve. It's very easy to complete in any deck that would want the effect, and the fact that it's usable every turn makes it a supercharged Brann Bronzebeard. The first two quests seemed a bit iffy, but this one is undeniably awesome!
This can help activate Mecha'thun, but there are a lot of combo disruptions in the rotation; and how to draw fast as Shaman + get rid of your hand / board?
Like I said on the card's page: "It's fine, but...why be a Shaman card? You had Brann Bronzebeard as the Hunter hero; it was right there."
Beyond that, the connection with Shudderwock should be obvious and concerning. Presumably the Shaman will receive new Battlecry minions and/or weapons, and that's more fuel for Shudderwock. At least you cannot easily Hero Power + Shudderwock in the same turn.
Edit: This is being inserted into my Jade C'Thun deck for sure.
Let me say that my intention is not to bad mouth this brawl but I had to suffer through many attempts to try to get the win at the hands of R N G I am glad it is over with. My winning deck was a strange mage zoo build that used conjurer's calling and big bad voodoo (from witch's cauldron).
The official site has the empty slots waiting for the community reveal timetable but it's still empty. About two weeks until community reveals should be a solid guess. Blizzard has previously given us some cards via blog posts even before the community reveals start so make sure to check our front page every now and then for latest reveals (usually blogs happen at 10:00 PDT/13:00 EDT/19:00 CEST).
didn't want to open a new thread so I'm asking in here, Will be a countdown in frontpage like we used to see when they reveal the reveal times (revealing reveal times lol)?
That is the hope, yeah. Flux and team are on the job! :)
I'm truly surprised that this thread wasn't nerfed. But here it is in all its glory. I for one am in favor of the new name "Krapgar." I think this thread was created because another similar thread was locked by a moderator. The discussion here must be nicer.
My two cents: When the Mage has the nuts, it's really not fun to play against the mage. As has been usually true in other moments of other years, it's sort of like watching a person playing solitaire. When the mage doesn't have the nuts (probably 50% of the time) it's pretty much an easy victory for the non-mage, excluding the Warriors out there. The Warriors must cycle through all their stuff to eventually die against the mages, even when the mages didn't have a nice nut (draw).
So where am I going with this? Warrior right now is huge problem. Stop picking on the classes that have the tools to hard counter Warrior. Nerf the hard counter to warrior, watch warrior just become the 100% win rate deck to autopilot itself to Hearthstone Nirvana.
Probably not going to pre-order: I bought the Heist and the Wild bundle recently, so I've spent enough money on Hearthstone for now. I got a lot of dust on the rotation and haven't spent much of it yet, so if I don't draw the cards I want from the packs I buy with gold, I can just craft them.
I cut myself off at splurging on the Heist. I'm really happy I bought the Heist adventure, it has been a lot of fun to play with. I was sooo tempted to spring on the Wild bundle. But I exerted the restraint on myself. I hope you continue to accumulate dust. It's really hard to maintain a big dust balance. I always find myself low on dust. It's a goal of mine to find a way to really accumulate dust and not have to spend it
I like the idea of duo-class cards and multi-class themes. However, the idea of using multiple class cards while building a deck would be very hard to balance. Imagine Prep in Shaman or Mage. Or Paladin’s Secret generating cards with Mage.
That does give me an idea though. Every class has 8 non-legendary cards per expansion. Imagine an expansion where all those cards were duo-class with a different class. So every class card is paired with every other class except the legendaries. Could be a fun experiment

The Hero Power is a 2-mana "Your Battlecries trigger twice this turn." aura effect you have to activate.

This really needs to happen yesterday. Some threads are now very long. Implementing this will make people super happy.

[Game] Name another card that has the same...
Heistbaron Togwaggle
Gives a treasure as a bonus.
Side note: "Who da king? I DA KING!" (sorry, he's my favorite legendary from RoS because of his sound effect)
Help with expansion concept.
