Also, yeah it's a fun deck that can carry up to Rank 15 for good and up to Rank 10 if you play well with good decisions. I always believe that every good-refined home-brew deck can carry you up to Rank 10.
As for your last statement, or your understatement (another recruit hunter with a bad hand, really?), I believe you need to play more Wild games -especially Control ones- to see which ones you can beat up because there are lots of Control decks in Wild and it's impossible for me to write all of them.
Also is explo sheep all you got against early aggression ? Recruit hunter is already pretty weak to anything aggro as it is, i'm not sure making the deck even more greedy will help with that.
I guess it's a fun deck and you're farming control matchup with it at super low ranks ?
Still I'm not sure what other control deck you can beat with it. Another recruit hunter with a bad hand ?
IMO, it's not that hard to tell between a useless card and a card that is currently unplayed but has potential
Any card that is currently seeing play, or historically saw play shouldn't be dusted, even if you don't like the deck it's in (Leeroy, Harrison, Dr Boom, Scargil). There's a couple reasons for this
Powerful cards are more likely to get hall of famed or nerfed
Cards powerful enough to see play in one deck at some point are likely to be powerful enough to show up in other decks (eg. Leeroy was historically in a few combo decks and also renolock)
Any unplayed card with unique but synergistic or conditional effects should be kept (Hadronox, Raza, Krag'wa, Hir'eek, Commander Rhyssa, Kangor's army). If cards are printed that facilitate those conditions and synergies, it can become playable
Any unplayed card with unique/powerful effects but is currently in a dead class/archetype should be kept (Fel Lord Betrug, Arch-Villain Rafaam). Controlock just needs to stop sucking, in these cases
Any unplayed card with basic, replaceable effects and no synergy is an easy dust (Griftah, Gral, Illidan, Toki)... unless you never dust legendaries so you don't open them again, of course
The succubus was way too far. The new secret keeper is hotter in my opinion. The new deadly shot and headcrack look like crap. I don't mind the rest of the changes. But 100% this is for China. Hearthstone is not making as much money anymore in the East and this is their full support of moving their market to China.
Except they did this already before because of China. Skeleton Knight was just one example. The fact that players from China play on other servers is enough for Blizzard to now to take the extreme step to censor cards on all servers.
This is the first expansion that I'm going to wait for most of the cards to be revealed to decide if I preorder. I have the unpopular opinion of not being happy with the state of the meta and if the cards show to enforce certain classes that are always on top then no preorder for me.
I agree with the Sael'orn assessment and took the liberty to edit the list accordingly. Should anyone meet her outside Violet Hold, please let us know.
I posted a card, Murozond, on the second thread, I hope for help in balancing. Especially, I don't know how many should cost Cards of Time, so i just made them cost 0 as placeholder. Beside balancing, what do you think about the idea itself?
He can, but only in Citadel (I've met him there, I believe). I think any level 6-7 boss (that is not exclusive to a certain chapter) can be the 8th boss of Citadel, so I'm not sure how to list that better than now.
This is false. If you evolve/devolve a minion into a mana cost that doesn't exist, nothing happens. You won't get a full health Sea Giant, your giant will remain damaged. Trust me, I've tried early on in the season, not realising that Snowfury Giant had rotated out.
That's why this would be a significant change to the decks I mentioned, all of which typically do run giants and lackeys.
Didn't realize that and edited the post accordingly. Still though the rest of the overall argument is still valid and the question isn't whether people will complain about a new feature of a deck (they will) but whether that addition for those decks is worse than what mages do now.
Upping a few T2-3 decks slightly with a stable upgrade to slightly diminish an RNG based advantage to a tier 1 deck seems like a nice trade compared to, say, completely removing mountain giants from standard or gutting the mage deck entirely.
Again whether we need to do something is up for debate, but if we do, I'm not seeing a better alternative.
Lack of notifications made me miss your answer and this deck.. looks good but are you just using Rag as a finisher? Seems odd.
I found the Scaleworm + Dire Frenzy combo to be quite fun in a dragon hunter deck and since you got Zombeasts and Nightmare Amalgam as targets as well, it's a spell to consider.
Having the card is nice but do you Use it? I'll still wait till I feel inspired and need a specific card to dust him but the future looks dim for ol' Illidan.
If you need that 400 dust to craft a specific legendary for a specific deck, then by all means, DE away, but if you dont have to do it, it is better not to, especially since having it helps you to never get it again (until you have all legendaries from the set ofc).

I will likely preorder but want to see more of the expansion first. I do like the new Druid skin, but there’s no Druid decks I’ve been wanting to play, so I have no need for it. And they did just release Lunara last year
I have a regular one and a golden one :D but yes, if you can avoid it, dusting legendaries is not the best way to go, especially classic ones, as said before.
I can see where you're coming from. While Dave Kosak has said in the intervening span of our posts that it wasn't about ratings, I'm kind of glad. I don't really know how accessible this game is to a kid in that age range, and I have one. They can follow the game.. kind of. But tactical nuance is lost and that's kind of a big deal beyond the most casual level of players
Is this the mech version of deathrattle egg hunter mixed with spell-ish package ?
I wish there was a guide explaining how the deck works ...
Alleria's Big Monsters
Nah. It's just a fashion style of deckbuilder 😁
Quick Shot and Marked Shot can kill aggresive minions. Explosive Sheep followed by Nine Lives is like two AOE at once.
Also, yeah it's a fun deck that can carry up to Rank 15 for good and up to Rank 10 if you play well with good decisions. I always believe that every good-refined home-brew deck can carry you up to Rank 10.

Alleria's Big Monsters
Noob question here.
Do cards have to be golden for the deck to work?
Also is explo sheep all you got against early aggression ? Recruit hunter is already pretty weak to anything aggro as it is, i'm not sure making the deck even more greedy will help with that.

Saviors of Uldum
Elise's Well played and Thanks emotes seem to be mixed up! It will be an easy fix though.
Nice guide! Did not know about some of the stuff! Also that free quest will be sweet
Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]
It cannot transform any minions.

Indeed Wont be amazon offer this time, ambassadors are telling it.

The Great Dalaran Heist Tuning Update - Bosses Nerfed & Buffed, Player Deck Changes
I'd have thought Oxana Demonslay would receive a nerf. That's the one boss I've had the hardest time beating.
