This card pretty much sets you up to hard mulligan for it every time. It is a very powerful card at neutral. My issue with it is that it is very restrictive to deck building and I thought that they were moving away from auto include type cards. I bet it will become fairly standard to turn 1 quest turn 2 this in any games where a quest is played.
I mean....Lackeys are good and all but what does this fit into? In most scenarios iit will just generate one lackey making it a less efficient version of Sludge Slurper.
I guess if there's a good version of Token-Shudderwock Shaman comes around this might see play.
Was only a matter of time til something like this happpened.
Priest still doesn't have a gameplan and a lategame boardwipe doesn't really support any of the current playstyles, but I guess it's something to work with
Unless Priest gets good enough endgame finishers, this is probably just another annoying removal that delays the game. Fatigue decks typically have been the weaker brand of Control....we'll have to wait and see what else is coming.
This. Priest getting a decent board clear is cool, but it still doesn't have any sort of finisher or edge over other slow decks.
Unless the expansion has totem synergy I don’t see this one being played. EVIL Cable Rat can attack AND has Shudderwock synergy. This totem is just like Mana Tide Totem. It looks good and will occasionally net you 2 cards, but most of the time it’s a tempo loss because a 0-Attack minion is worthless
Idk, obviously you can complete it really quickly with Plot Twist and the fact that you no longer have to actually spend mana to get the quest reward is also helpful and means a mild effect like this is far easier to justify
On the other hand it's basically a permanent Wilfred Fizzlebang who was never used despite not even being that bad and having a number of buildaround cards to make him somewhat work.
At the end of the day you can't really target draw so the only deck which this would even matter in is one that contains cards worth reducing.
Basically unless we get a card that works REALLY well with this entire concept Plot twist Warlock will just remain a meme
This is good, seems a little too swingy. If you're playing a quest, you're drawing 1 less card, which means lower chance of this in your starting hand. I feel like a lot of quest games will simply come down to whether you got this in your opening hand or not.
Plague Cards - The five villain classes all get a special plague card that can clear the board.
I just read this. Superb, this means that warlock would get an AoE (hopefully a good one), that would allow us to make a viable control deck in standard.
This seems strictly worse than Jungle Giants, and that card never really worked. You can't control which cards get the reduction, so this wont work with combos. Unless there's some insane support, I don't see this getting play
I doubt this card will be a big issue in standard given that Mass Hysteria is still around but I'm a little worried that priest will reach a critical mass of premium removal in wild and fatigue priest will become a thing.
I like control and I like priest, but playing board clears for 15 turns straight sounds unappealing from either side of the table.
I only have two questions. Should I just buy both Pre Orders and get 130 packs, a new Hero, a new Card Back and two Golden Legendary Cards for £130 and should I craft Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron in double Golden to go with my Golden Renounce Darknesses?

New Warlock Spell - Supreme Archaeology
Die 90% of the time before being able to pull it off.
Yeah, no.
This might be decent in standard but wild won't give a damn unless some broken synergy or combo with it emerges.
New Priest Spell - Plague of Death
Beware N'Zoth Decks xD

New Hearthstone Expansion Revealed - Saviors of Uldum - All Revealed Cards
I just did. So yes you should absolutely do so also, so I feel less bad about it.
New Neutral Minion - Questing Explorer
Yeah this card is absolute nuts. If any quest deck turns out to be good this will, without a doubt, see play.

New Mage Spell - Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron
I am debating with myself wether or not to just craft this in Golden, twice, and put it straight into my Casino Mage. Hmmmm..... 🤔

What do you think of the card art changes?
Don't like any of the changes, specially bite, and I will really miss Sucubuss. How long before Kor'kron Elite and Whirlwind change too?
For anyone wondering, the also change the voice lines.

Questing Explorer looks so strong what the hell. And it's a neutral too.

It's not even that good. Draw 20 cards so half the last 10 can cost 2. You have to hero power for the reduction, not just dra

If you think for one second that I'm not going to run double Arcane Dynamo in my Mage decks now, you clearly don't know me well enough.
