I have always liked Blade of C'Thun and Shadowcaster :D I'll give this deck a try later - also because of the name.
I remember when Cthun decks were popular and when you would play mirror matches it was whoever dared to play Cthun first without the killing blow and would get his Cthun sniped by the Blade which would feed the opponentsCthun in turn. Haha good times.
I mostly know the value of each individual card and how they could interact together, but am completely clueless on how many of each type of card should go into a deck, or how to fill a mana curve. For me, HearthArena really helps here. I usually don't ignore any draft advice when it says I "really need an x drop".
That is also one of the things that becomes not entirely accurate with time. It heavilly depends on the meta shaped by the current card pool and then the class you are playing. Some classes in the past literally didnt need any 2-drops for example, when control RNGfiesta was the way to play. HA usually tries to push you towards midrange or tempo deck, which is fine, but you need to assess your own situation and know what archetypes are working for any given class at the moment and decide if it is a right direction to go or not.
Again, for unexperienced arena player, HA is a really amazing tool to help them get more wins fast and to get better, but you shouldnt religiously follow its advice once you get some experience ;-) Not saying HA cant be right most of the time, but you should think of why it appears to be important for your deck to pick the suggested card, not just pick it cause the app said so :)
I think it's a real hassle to enter everything in HA (I play mobile only) so I use it only when I need to re-establish my bearings. Since the rotation I really need it.
Long story short, if you haven't used HA you probably should, even if only to check what all the other people are using.
Oh yeah, if you dont use the Overwolf app, it is a pain in the ass to input everything manually.
Plus, i would hope they dive more into the Oracle flavor, eg Mind Vision, Crystalline Oracle, than some forceful psionic intrusion such as Thoughtsteal or Devour Mind, which sounds more pertaining to Shadow Priest.
Alternative colour scheme for the site is definitely something we have planned for the future based on your feedback, but it is not as easy as to flip a switch. Many elements like banners and such will have to be made in two (or more) variants to accomodate the change, so while we hear you and will want to do this eventually, other stuff takes priority at the moment. "Thief" is a terrible misnomer. They are copies; you are not actually stealing anything.
Well, plagiarism is also considered as a theft, because you are "stealing" someone else's ideas and representing them as your own. It's not important, if you physically take the original document and just replace the author's name with your own or you just write down whole paragraphs without making changes to the original work. Or the case with online piracy - downloading an illegal copy of someone's creation (video game, music video, movie....) and taking advantage of it without the author's permission, so I don't think thief is a misnormer.
In fact, I personally think this is a great way to express a certain in-game thematic. You have to admit, that if the rogue's and priest's thieving archtypes were called with their proper names, they wouldn't sound that exciting - Copy your opponent's cards Priest/Copy random cards from another class Rogue.
Oh dear God, Yes. I'm a big fan of the Steal archtype and I always hope to see more cards supporting this archtype. Regarding the question whether we will see this happening NEXT EXPANSION, well, I can't really predict based on the "evidence" we have right now. If I do, it would be me speculating as you said.
Usually though what i end up doing sometimes is i forget to hit the end turn button after i have made all my plays, and then when the rope appears i realize and wish we still had a Sorry emote.
I do that sometimes.. I also get bored easily so I need something risky in my decks. Whether it be a Weaponized Piñata in my mech decks or Marin the Fox in Zul'jin hunter.. I just like the gamble.
Trying this deck, mulligans never work. I've had 3 games in a row where Ysera is in my opening hand. 4th game was full mulligan and ended up with 2 ancestral and 2 walking fountain on turn 2... Out of 7 games, I've never drawn Spirit of the Frog, or Hagatha's Scheme (the top winrate card in the deck it seems). I've only managed to get scheme from Haunting Visions, but by then it's usually too late as I won't live long enough to kill anything.
TLDR;
Can someone PLEASE pass me their luck with mulligans... I want to have fun too :(
The general idea is that in most cases, you want Frog in your mulligan. Frog provides insane cycle, and helps you fish for much needed cards against Aggro. It's also a soft-Taunt, which needs to be removed. Frog is basically included in almost all Shaman decks, except Murloc, and has been doing incredibly well.
People are so bad with deck building.. The amount of people who just run arena decks without looking at synergies... Too many.
People forgot msog is also here c'thun is just inferior to jades most of the time, or run both..
I think C'thun priest is weak.. it always was.. a lot of C'thun decks are also inferior to other tempo decks.. of course if they happen to actually draw c'thun while not losing too hard..
been playing master's call hunter + zulj'in had a lot of success
I like accepting friend requests from salty opponents. I would never enjoy the behaviour of angry people in real life! But getting insulted for bad play or being a lucky bastard has something special to it....

When opening card packs, I like to hover over each card without clicking to see the aura glow. Then I flip the cards from no glow>blue>purple>yellow.
