On the UK version it now sells the packs for £29.99 (instead of the US $34.99) Taking into account conversion and fees, this finally works out at the same price.
While it was always nice to get it cheaper going to the US site, I'm glad to see that Blizzard have taken an active step in lowering the price for EU people like us. :-)

Because nowaday Krush deals 8 damage for 9 mana, while Leeroy Jenkins + Hero Power deals the same for 7 mana. This says that without beast synergy King Krush is pointless. At (8) mana instead it could be played with the hero power, becoming as strong as a Pyroblast, that isn't crazy strong, and becoming better then the neutral Leeroy, a thing that class legendaries should be.
This is really dirty. The pity timer is 10 packs and they only give you 8 packs each if you never got cards from the expansion before. I have bought from all these older expansions and will not spend the money on this. AND if you didn't didn't play any of these expansions you will miss the pity timer by 2 packs. The first 10 packs are supposed to give you a legendary but most of the time the pity timer triggers at 10 packs instead. This is the biggest scam I have ever witnessed Blizzard doing so far. This is worse than the hero locked behind 80 euros. They just couldn't be damned to give two extra packs could they??? So scummy my god. Why are you people upvoting comments favoring this? There is so many new players that didn't buy these cards before that will miss the pity timer by only 2 packs. It's disgusting.
They will never buff the Classic set in a way that makes all unplayed cards suddenly good (some of the suggested buffs would make them staple cards).
At best, they will touch some key cards, and cover a design hole in the class. eg Holy Nova made fair enough at board clearing, so that they can stop printing broken cards like Mass Hysteria (+ Dragonfire Potion + Psychic Scream etc) every year.
But beyond that, if they ever buff Evergreens, it surely won't be to rejuvenate the set, as it was for Boomsday cards.
blizzard should really make it possible for people to buy wild expansion packs with gold

That's interesting.. so a 2- mana "add a random animal companion to your hand" would probably see play then
Also means some kinda thematic spell hunter based around the companions may work..
The Stonehill was just an example of cards that would bring class cards more often so would get value from companions shifting pools.

The minions are over-statted for 3-cost, so the randomness of the summon offsets that.
Comparisons: Leokk compared to Warhorse Trainer <-- only buffs recruits
Huffer compared to Wolfrider
Misha compared to Ironfur Grizzly
Animal companions: how strong are they?
Stonehill Defender puts a strong minion in your HAND, Animal Companion puts a solid minion on the BOARD.
The former generates Value, the latter generates Tempo.
It's completely different, not even comparable tbh.
And yes, Companion is strong, since the stats it puts on board are slightly above the curve.

This is just a thought but why are the animal companions only called forth with specific cards( animal companion, call of the wild, To my side ) ?
Is it simply flavour -references to WoW spells or are they really strong?
Thinking for example of cards like Stonehill Defender -
