  • Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]

Danke. This character's official name is Tenebria, so that's what I put on the card:

(exhaust is the Hearthstone term for summoning sickness)

Here's the next piece of art:

    Rules

    1. Neutral legendary minion of the Naaru in the image.

    2. Give it a spell interaction effect.

    3. It cannot create new cards or draw cards.

Added. Thanks for the suggestion! ;-)

I cannot beat Dalaran level 5 at all. If I don't lose to that idiot with all the secrets at number 9, I get screwed over against Khadgar at 12.

I've barely played ranked this month because of trying to complete it, and every time I have a deck I think is great because I'm destroying everything in my path, I draw terribly in match 9 and end up getting destroyed myself.

    Anyone got any tips?

Bare in mind I'm a pretty casual player so I've hardly unlocked any extra decks or powers  except with Mage and Shaman.

I finished Chapter 5 in normal mode and it took me a while. Really, you need two things: 1) Time to grind it 2) Get the right treasures and card buckets making sure your deck can take different strategies. I beat Khadgar with Paladin. I had "Robes of Gaudiness," a "Baboomba" or whatever it's called, and two "EVIL Propaganda" cards. I stuck with a control strategy and he overdrew his deck to die. I really needed all the control tech. I cleared the board a couple times and stole his minions twice, too

removed tess caz there is not enough cards stolen and sometimes they r not useful
removed barista is too slow and hand is crowded most of the time

removed Bloodmage Thalnos and togg scheme

added 2 lifedrinkers and 2 EMP oprative  ( u find plenty of magnetic mechs in Hunters, druids, paladins, even Damaged Stegotron in resurrect priest ,Pogo-Hopper Rogue, plus Zilliax is used in each and every deck for synergy or no reason at all but value !! so came the idea of adding E.M.P. Operative to counter and Lifedrinker to regenerate )

    Quote From AliRadicali

King Crimson seems both too powerful and confusing as worded. If you negate your opponent's 3 actions, were the cards still spent? Suppose your opponent performed 2 actions and you end up negating your own flamestrike as well, does that return any minions killed to the game? etc.

King Crimson's ability is actually really, I mean, really simple. It's like instead of you playing Ragnaros and your opponent trading it and playing Grull, the only thing that happened is a 5/5 played on your battlefield side. Your Ragnaros is in your hand, an enemy minion is still alive, Grull is in your opponent's hand. These events never took place.

And these are not just your opponent's actions, but ALL actions. Of course King Crimson's enter as an action is shown after its Battlecry.

Oh and yeah, Hermit Purple reveals all the cards that are currently in enemy's hand, just like N'Zoth summons all dead Deathrattle minions.

what do you think about adding illidan stormrage?:))

Finally hit rank 13 for the first time since Whispers of the Old Gods. Only use a combination of Whizbang (Just crafted him golden too, because value.), Murloc Shaman (The deck recipe one.) and Zayle.

I mostly agree with your changes, but personally, I would prefer Mass Dispell from Priest being buffed. If it was three or even two mana it would be played, and it would create an interesting situation by forcing players to play around mass dispell when facing a priest. If I were allowed to change card text too I would make it 2 mana and read "Silence all minions. Draw a Card." That way there could be support for Silence Priest that exists in classic

  • (Theorycrafting)Classic set buffs

I see your points, but I must disagree with some of them.

    • Druid: Both changes would be acceptable, but the real change that druids need is the old Wild Growth (I know it is basic). It was needed a nerf to Ultimate Infestation and the lost was made to the core set.
    • Hunter: I see King Krush fine. About the Gladiator's Longbow may convert it into a 4/3 (not sure about this one).
    • Paladin: They could reduce the cost of Lay on Hands, but not buff the Argent Protector. That card is balanced in effect/stats.
    • Priest: Shadowform is a hard one. May a cost reduction with [Hearthstone Card (Vargoth) Not Found] is enough. Sincerely I would like see in new expansions cards that interact with the Shadowform (different effects depending on the form the player is).
    • Rogue: Both cards are really bad. Kidnapper needs a cost reduction. At 6 mana with the effect activate by combo it's clearly overcosted. May copy Vilespine Slayer with the Sap effect.
    • Shaman: Lightning Storm may change the the overload cost to 1. The 2 damage to all enemy minions could cost 3 as AOE, but the probability of damaging by 3 is the reason to overload the card.
    • Warrior: Mortal Strike may do not need a cost reduction. Even the comparison is obvious, mages have the best damage on spells, so it is not enterely equal. May change the requisites to deal 6 damage increasing the lifepoints to 15 (20?). On the other hand Cruel Taskmaster seems like a nice buff. It's different to the case of Argent Protector because in this case even if it's used to push damage or favourable trades, your minion gets more vulnerable.
    • Mage: Icicle do not worth the lost of Ice Block (still an epic card).
    • Warlock: Siphon Soul is good. It kills a target and give health, and the healing in warlocks should have an extra cost included (Lesser Amethyst Spellstone is not a good example, that is just too good).
    • Neutral: Illidan Stormrage could be viable if increase the health, even with a lost of damage (just think about it but as a 5-7). The [Hearthstone Card (Arcanite Golem) Not Found] is a good buff, comparable to Millhouse Manastorm

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links

Yeah I play it. It is a game I like to play especially when I want to slow down playing Hearthstone and vice versa. It is more expensive than Hearthstone and some of the decks have been frustrating to go up against (looking at you Amazons and Weevil stall/Burn). But I've loved Yu-Gi-Oh ever since I watched the anime at a young age and having a Yu-Gi-Oh game on the go is always a plus in my books.

  • (Theorycrafting)Classic set buffs

I don't really like the idea of buffing classic precisely because these cards are supposed to be evergreen. Having good cards that are always available restricts the design space for new cards, EG Fireball&Frostbolt mean that new mage burn spells generally suck. It also means that new cards see less play because these older cards do the job better.

Classic and basic have been a recurring problem for blizzard (hence the hall of fame), and I wish they'd just bite the bullet on having them rotate out as well. Heck, you could have a rotating roster of old cards that are featured in classic to replace the current system.

Just beat Heroic Mode on Dalaran Heist - wing 5 - with the most automatic deck I've ever played. I've started as a rogue with the 2 mana 2 damage to undamanged minions hero power, and the first treasure I got was Robes of Gaudiness (which in itself is pretty bonkers). Over the next few bosses, I've managed to get myself an Anub'arak, and then later I've used Duplatransmogrifier on it. When I've realised what I had done - it was already too late; I've just made a deck with 22 Anub'araks, all costing 4 mana.

I thought I was done for, since my deck is pretty much dead weight until turn 4, but then I got my second treasure: Rocket pack. From there - it was super smooth sailing; All I had to do, against any heroic boss, was just survive until turn 4, and from there I basically won. Every turn I summoned an Anub'arak, which either removed something or just stayed on board, and the extra Nerubian tokens also helped clear boards with their rush. It didn't even matter how much spell damage or random spell generation the last bosses of the heist had - they just spend it all on minions that essentially dont ever die. Eventually they just ran out of steam, while my Anub'araks gently tapped their face once in a while - and I've won the Heroic Heist.

"They are still keeping an eye on Big Priest in Wild."

What more do you need to see? The deck has been prominent in Wild for over a year now and is still refusing to go away. It is one of the most, if not, THE most annoying deck to go up against. ROS gave them a couple of new cards to be better. What is there else to see? At this point, you are just making a meme out of it now and we can't take it seriously anymore. What cards get nerfed remains to be seen. But it needs to be touched somehow.

Man i hate my life! I played easily 5h heroic chapter 5 today and i got fucked by rng wayyyy to often! The worst part is, that a single run takes so fucking long........ just to be stomped by vargoth, kalec or kadgar after an hour of play.

I still like the content though, but it‘s just enough frustration for now

  • JoJo Stands as Legendaries!

No worries, at first glance I assumed it was a battlecry as well. Definitely too good for the stats it has RN, should probably be somethingcloser to an 8 mana 4/6.

  • Hall of Fame Replacements Coming 'Very Soon' To Classic Set

While I know that Big Priest has plenty of aggro/midrange counters & even some control counters if you play a deck smart when using transform effects I can't help but think that even if something like Big Priest got a nerf (such as nerfing Barnes) that Vargoth will simply replace the 4 mana minion the priest tries to hard mulligan into. Sure Vargoth presents much less of a early to midgame high roll it does present a larger late game swing than Barnes ever could. Mass res into a double cast from a rezed Vargoth is devastating for almost all slow control classes outside of warlock & warrior.

As for what classic cards I expect to see I anticipate some more lame completely rng-based cards. Nothing too special there.
