^The pertinent thing about Killer Queen is that it's not just shuffling a bomb in, it's *replacing* a card in the deck with a bomb. Obviously a high roll scenario, but imagine hitting the opponent's Shirvallah in OTF paladin, that's just game right there. The potential to kill key cards in the opponent's deck is definitely worth more than just the generic 5 damage bomb, so it justifies the statline. Heck, I'd say the card is generous with its stats/mana considering what it does. It's a combo-killer in a class that naturally wants to play control and thus is vulnerable to comboes. Oh and let's not forget that the effect repeats itself if the Queen sticks, so there's that as well.
Of the bunch I think it's the most well-designed card in that it compliments Warrior's natural game plan.
Oh I am dumb I didn't read the card didn't read it's an end of turn effect.. it's probably too good then..

Sticky Fingers seems underpowered. On average you're putting more stats into play than you're removing, so unless you're killing a giant Edwin or a utility minion, chances are this doesn't improve matters all that much. Barring narrow scenarios like the opponent already having a full board or being resurrect priest, i don't really see much utility in the card.
Black Sabbath I dislike simply because I dislike Stealth in general. The card is underpowered, but any deck that could make him work wouldn't be fun to play against: bunch of stealths going face until you die, meh.
Star platinum is neat. Might be one mana too cheap but the card has obvious synergy between its attributes as well as decently representing Star Platinum as a character. Would play over Icehowl ten times out of ten.
I dislike the wording on Aerosmith, not sure if it could even be made to work. Just have it battlecry to remove taunt, divine shield and stealth from all minions instead.
Hierophant Green just seems bad. Even if you're ahead on board after it kills the opponent's stuff, you're all in on what you have because you're back to one mana next turn.
I get what Metallica is trying to do, but I dislike the wording and suspect that hero power: draw a card & deal 2 damage to enemy minion is ridiculously OP. If it were a minion like Garrison Commander that only provided the upgraded hero power while in play I'd be a lot more comfortable with it.
King Crimson seems both too powerful and confusing as worded. If you negate your opponent's 3 actions, were the cards still spent? Suppose your opponent performed 2 actions and you end up negating your own flamestrike as well, does that return any minions killed to the game? etc.
How many cards would hermit purple reveal? The full hand? 3? Either way the card seems fine, if a bit underwhelming for a legendary spell.
What if Blizzard were to buff the classic set cards the same way they buffed boomsday? I think such thing would be great and freshen up the game for a while longer than buffing an expansion that rotates in a year..
anyway I will suggest the buffs, they are either -1 mana +1 attack or +1 hp, if the card is so bad then -2 mana(like boomsday buffs)
I will choose cards that see no play at all and have space to open up a new archtype.
Druid (technically could buff almost ANY card, but I decided feral druid needs some love)
Savagery 1->0 mana this card is really bad as is.. at least it should cost less.. also goes well with the next bufff.
Bite 4-> 3 mana this card never saw play (after it got nerfed in beta) druid has worse ramp right now it can be buffed.
Hunter - hunters got a strong classic set so..
King Krush 9-> 8 mana this card was ONLY good cause of [Hearthstone Card (katrena winterwisp) Not Found] otherwise it's terrible, with this buff it's a decent finisher if you can get there.. another suggestion could be +1 attack or even more minor +1 hp. it IS a legendary after all and the worst classic class legendary in that...
Gladiator's Longbow 2->3 durability, this card costs 7 mana! you are overpaying 2 mana over arcanite reaper for being immune which is a 0.5 mana effect looking at Candleshot this weapon has too little durability for how much it costs..
Paladin - not too much to buff here either, some card buffs might be too toxic for the game if buffed.
Lay on Hands - 8->7 mana at least lets you do something else the turn you play it..
Argent Protector 2/2->2/3 can't buff anything else there.. holy wrath is pointless and blessed champion would be too oppressive as a combo piece this card has a 0.5 mana cost effect attached to it.. could be a 2/3 really, great in arena.
Priest - his classic set SUCKS but can't be easily buffed in long term, but I did find 2 cards worthy low risk buffs.
Shadowform 3-> 2 mana hero power change cards cost 2 in other sets this card is fun to use but costs too much also you lose the healing for using it so.. yeah 2 mana.. still probably not playable but it's a fun card.
Holy Fire 6->5 mana could help priest since this card is played sometimes mostly cause of lack of other alternatives.. value wise 5 damage= 3.5 mana, 5 healing =1 mana bundling cost =0.5 good enough.
Rogue - just got nerfed but I got some unrelated archtype buffs.
Kidnapper - 5/3-> 5/4 this card is badly stated for it's cost
Patient Assassin - 1/1-> 1/2 it's a small buff but this guy is never played at all I am not sure though since arena exists.. and rogue is strong there..
Shaman the overload mechanic was underestimated as a drawback back in classic
Lightning Storm 3->2 mana, this card is not even played in shaman control decks, and is mostly a feelsbad when it is.. would rather lower the overload by 1, but I already stated that I would not change the card text.
I've only really been active on HPwn since the shutdown scare, although I used it as a resource for card searching and theorycrafting decks etc. a lot back in the day. I can't say if it's always been this way, but the discussions over there right now are pretty shallow and hostile in tone, certainly not what you'd expect to find on a message board with an established userbase and experienced mods. It's still the best place to get eyes on a new deck for the moment, but that'll probably change too, especially if/when the card search engine on OOC gets an upgrade.
Mike mentioned removing DOOM! (so no 10-drop on turn 3 with her hero power). Not sure if any other adjustments will be made, at least he didn't mention anything else.
Anyone who understands the basics of statistical analysis, sample size and confirmation bias is unlikely to draw the same conclusion as you based on those few hand picked examples.
Class cards show up 4 times more often than neutrals for discover effects. I also distinctly remember having read that the latest expansion enjoys additional weighting in discover compared to prior ones, but I can't seem to find documentation on that.
Either way, do you have any evidence for this, a source on those stats, something other than just your own impressions based on bad outcomes?
Funny side-note. I've gone to the site a few times to compare forum activity and Out of Cards on multiple occasions has had more recent discussion. You'll see the most recent 4 threads on Pwn be made within the past 3 hours where Out of Cards had 5 posts within an hour.
Deck discussion is definitely a bit more active there than here, but we're just getting things started so I think its okay.
Ultimately, good luck to them. They inherited a ton of tech debt on both backend and frontend and it is not going to be an easy pay off. People also won't get away from the ads infestation that is HearthPwn. Had I have obtained the site, the goal was to completely rewrite it from the ground up anyway since the platform it is on sucks. It basically would have become what Out of Cards is right now, just it would have been a different color scheme and things would be kept very similar with regards to UI.

I could puke. Honestly. After another game in arena where a extremely bad player once again got Kalecgos from Messenger Raven I was confused, bought HSreplay Premium and will uninstall this Activion $$$$ game.
Kalecgos is played after Messenger Raven in over 70% of players that score in average below 3 wins. Above the numbers go down until it is below 3%.
Do you honestly still think they don't use the same shit EA uses in Fifa, the worse you are the more luck and rigged matches? Believe in this and live in your world. It is damn obvious.

Hierograph green is just bad, too much price for an ok effect.. I mean his emerald splash doesn't really makes him that much weaker after use should do some AOE random damage that much I agree.

I've been lurking on HearthPwn for a good few years now, and I've completely migrated here, to Out Of Cards. Because I've never actually posted on HP, I never really got attached to the mods there - but their presence and work were often apparent. You could see Flux or Chimera respond to technical issues on the forums a lot (comparatively speaking), and all the news posts came super hot straight out of the oven. The site felt vibrant and alive, in part because of the great community but also the team behind it all. And although I wasn't active on the forums back then - I really understand the drive to follow Flux and the crew, they really deserve it.
My problems with HP started towards its "closing" - news became a bit slower but they were still quick and fresh. The forums, on the other hand, felt like they started to lean more into salt threads and people complaining about cards \ classes \ blizzard, with constructive criticism and interesting discussion being diluted in a lot of aggression and nonsense. These problems feel even more pronounced now - HP news section is very much behind in my opinion, and I've leaned more and more (now completely) to using OoC for news. The forums there feel dead half the time, and the other half is just more salt - at least in my opinion.
The thing is - I really don't think Magic Find is inherently the one to blame for this. They simply purchased what I would describe as the carcass of a site, and stopped it from shutting down - but they really have a lot of work to do. Since many of the old mods left the site, they are understaffed right now (I've seen a forum post about recruiting mods for HP not too long ago), which means curating content and managing forums is incredibly slow. I don't know if they knew what they were getting out of that deal, and I don't blame them for the "death" of HP (I feel like Curse \ Fandom is to blame on that front). All i know is, that at the end of the day - I use a site and the forums for content and community, and right now I just feel better about both in OoC. I do wish Magic Find all the luck in the world, but that being said - I'm sticking to OoC for now.
Some other stuff that we didn't clip (at least not yet):
Around 2:53:30 Mike shared a story about Ben Brode being a professional Rock-Paper-Scissors player long time ago. He insisted it's true.
Heist boss Kara Stamper is also getting slightly nerfed (about 3:13.20)
Right at the end Mike gave some card desing insight: They want to push the limits of cards rather than always playing it safe with balance
Kara Stamper is really easy unless she just keeps discarding jeklik which happened to me in the last 3 times I faced her but not before if she doesn't draw jeklik she runs out of steam quickly.. is the slight nerf a removal of jeklik?
"They would love to do at least one Heist hero as a playable character."
I would love to see Tekahn as a playable hero. After all, out of all the Heist heroes, he's the only character that exists in the Warcraft lore. And I'd love to see King Phaoris in HS one day as well. More Tol'vir plz!
For those out of the loop, Hearthpwn was re-acquisitioned by a group called Magic Find. They claim to keep the site running the same way it did before and "provide only the best that we can offer". According to my knowledge, Flux was offered a role in the reconstruction of the website, and declined the offer. The most common response to this is "FUCK YEAH! I love this site, thanks for keeping it running!", followed by "We had it great back then, now it's controlled by people we don't know. I'm off to Out Of Cards".
In my opinion, I'd probably use both. I too have a special attachment towards the old Hearthpwn crew, and going back to Hearthpwn without then is like a Hearthstone without Ben Brode. However, twice the websites means twice the forum posts, twice the decklist sharing, twice the trolling and twice the discussion. I don't know, I just wanted to get other peoples' opinions about this. Please don't take this as an aggression, I am not disapproving of Magic Find or their actions in any way; on the contrary I think it's great that they bite the bullet and keep Hearthpwn running. I just don't have anybody in my friends circle that has any interest in Hearthstone or it's forums.
I had a lot of fun with it so much that I wore it out, so I took a week or so off from it (maybe 2 weeks?). I got burnt out on completing Chapter 5 in normal mode to have all chapters done. After I finished everything in normal mode I took a break. I've gone back to it today to try and see if I can finish all chapters in Heroic mode. The new challenges in heroic make it like a whole new adventure and since I took a week or two off it all feels new again. It's definitely replayable for me.
Bold prediction: This cards are coming around 2 months after next expansion. Just like snip snap and buffs came couple of weeks ago to spice up the meta.
I mean, polls for revealed cards only serve to give first opinions on cards. Prince Keleseth and Corridor Creeper were rated poorly during the reveals, and subsequently became some of the most popular cards in the meta. I think it would be cool if we could have a "look back on our stupidity" thread, where we could see a gallery of all the cards of the expansion with each of their ratings, as well as what decks or classes people expected to reign supreme. Sort of like how Trump sometimes goes back and rewatches his review videos and gives his opinions after the meta has settled or the next expansion has been announced. I personally prefer these re-review videos, simply because Trump is so good at getting them wrong (exhibit A: Tyrantus, Swamp King Dred, Lakkari Sacrifice and The Last Kaleidosaur all being voted 5 stars).

Cruel Taskmaster 2/2-> 3/2 more aggressively stated minion.
Mage
