When it comes to warlock decks, zoo's nice since you can use a very similiar list in both Standard and Wild. I'd strongly recommend crafting the carpets, though! They go in both versions, + you can use them in a bunch of other decks, especially in Wild in tandem with Hobgoblin - 1 mana 4/5 rush boys are often a huge swing. I believe Mountain Giants are also a good craft, if you want to try even lock - I made the deck just a week ago myself, and it's a lot of fun to play. Also, they are OG, out there putting in work since the beta.
Pretty sure there's no problem mentioning Hearthpwn by name here. On the other hand, I got a warning and my post deleted for simply stating that I was moving on to Out of cards on Hearthpwn. Apparently they thought I was promoting my own website...
This is correct. Also that's quite shitty of them but i am not at all surprised.

Thats a ridicolous behaviour from Hearthpwn's new mods. They already started with a bad influence and this furthers it.
That would devalue new heroes. It wouldn't be a smart move by Blizzard, as a company. They love selling those 60 pack bundles every expansion.
I doubt it, people who want to collect the Hero skins would still buy them. Otherwise, why would the Masters bundle have sold? If the bundles featured lore specific heroes, they would still get snapped up. If these were locked behind a full Heroic completion of the run, it would drive sales for adventure, but it wouldn't stop people if they introduced, for example, Kael'thas as a new Mage hero in the next bundle.
I would like to share an opinion towards the division in content offered on the homepage. I think forum threads should be more visible, in the main menu as well as the main layout of the homepage.
I understand why decks and cards are so important, but I think the returning members value threads a lot. There are no notifications as of now, which makes having to search for the thread a lot of work (unless I'm missing something).
I have no idea what pages are being visited most, so it might be done this way because of SEO/user-friendly reasons. If so, please ignore my reasoning. I just think it can be visible more.
Once I saw that Hearthpwn was shutting down, I deleted the bookmark and moved on. I don't know what state it's in now, and to be honest, I don't really care. The king is dead, long live the king! Hail, Out of Cards!
Well, it's understandable, if you get in their shoes. They are bleeding because of this split.
Tbh, i don't think OOC needs advertising on HP. Everybody there knows of OOC by now, at least regular users, and advertising there is unfair, if you think about their situation there (of which they cannot be judged responsible).
Best thing for whoever prefers OOC is just leaving HP alone, and produce traffic and content here instead.
And if one means to use both sites for the time being, it's pointless to generate harm on one of them.
If they have the nuts, at least you know where you're supposed to kick them.
In all seriousness though, I think all that's needed is more self-awareness and attention to what's happening. I've noticed in the past how I got demotivated and pissed when my opponents just kept getting what they needed at the right time, but when I was the one with the clutch saves, it was like "finally, where was this card the whole game" or "about damn time". When I get the god hand from the get go, I just shrugged and tought "yeah, that's how the deck's supposed to work, so...as expected". In other words, I was either pissed at my opponent when they got lucky or I was pissed at the game when I had to get lucky to win, or, at best, took good hands for granted. The average response was negative, rather than middle of the road. It took me some time but once I learned to appreciate my own luck, my own top decks or the games where I just wiped the floor with the opponent cause I drew the nuts, I became much less negative about it when it happened to me.
This goes both for the game in general and for individual cases within the same match. I used to really dislike RNG messing up my plans and putting me on the back foot and those moments stuck in my mind, but I never really kept a mental tally of the moments when I was the one getting lucky. So I knew that opponent got lucky 3 times that game but had no awareness of how many times I drew just what I needed etc, or when they didn't have the answer for 6 turns even though it's in their deck. Now I'm much more aware of when I get saved by a lucky roll and when that save had to come because my opponent got lucky first etc. When you have the perspective of "RNG keeps screwing me over" you're more likely to rage than when you realise that it all averages out. Because I pay more attention to it now, when I lose a game due to RNG I can exactly pinpoint the moments where I got lucky that game (topdecked doomsayer with frost nova in hand and they had no response, etc.) and often come to the conclusion that yeah, they got lucky and won, but I got lucky like 5 times that game as well so it was about time they got some luck on their side too. Often, I find that I should never have been in a good position to begin with given the matchup, and their luck just pulled the game back to average after my lucky draws.
TLDR: It all averages out, if you pay enough attention and are objective.
Doomseyer is awesome against pogo rogue. Wild pyro is better against something like shaman, druid and lock. Against mech pala is a bad match in any case. cause of the legendary spell. Think doomseyer is much better then pyro in any of the matchup you mentioned. Kalecgos is good against warriors. I would suggest you to craft the second doomseyer, cause this is not the first and won't be the last deck to run 2 of them.
Thanks! I appreciate the analysis. I just crafted stargazer and Khagdar for a different mage deck so I should just craft the doomsayer since I am all in on mage anyway.
An idea based on what's said here: instead of 0 health have a mechanic that instantly kills the minion on battlecry. Thus when the minion is played, it instantly dies.
On first feel it'll end up feeling like a spell when you do things like "Battlecry: instantly dies. Deathrattle, deal 2 damage to all minions" However, it does mean that it interacts differently with other cards. Recruiting it means it just turns into a normal minion. OTOH, it bypasses counterspell. OTOOH, it means anti-minion cards work against it. OTOOOH, other cards can interact with it: knifejuggler works, minions that react when a minion dies, so on.
It does let you do crazy things, like, a 2 mana 5/5 that dies instantly (thus you want to summon or recruit it). Or have an effect that attaches "dies instantly" to an opponent card in their hand. Thus your opponent now has, say, a mountain giant in their hand that just dies when played. You can even do wild stuff like "dies instantly, at the begginng of your turn revives and silences itself (so that it doesn't keep reviving :P).
Though essentually putting it as a battlecry makes it more intuitive. You may not know WHY you would want a minion that dies like that but you know it will if you use it.
My ideas to improve this forum,
Completely agree, color should be changed to something brighter
Recommend me a fun deck

Soooo that other site..
Guys how long is people fueling this drama. It’s already old and useless. Move on
Soooo that other site..
So far i’m Loving this site, and I have great hope in the community that is forming.
Here’s to a great future. < cheers all
My ideas to improve this forum,
Another thing. The deck pages and specially the card listings... really? That looks dreadful, specially when we compare to we know who
My ideas to improve this forum,
I fully support that. HearthPwn is much more cheerful and pleasant to the eye. This dark grey here is depressing.
I’m really not sure to stick around for long if it stays this way
Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!
When you get the 5-win 100G quest on your b-day, only to go 2-10 on your matches for the day...
Thanks RNG for giving me terrible match-ups and my opponents the exact answer they need every damn time.
Soooo that other site..
This is correct. Also that's quite shitty of them but i am not at all surprised.
HearthPwn stays alive, yet no one actually cares
I am definitely staying with the team and not the site. So outof.cards will be my new home. Thanks team!
Soooo that other site..

The Dalaran Heist alternate heroes should be collectible. Change my mind!

So Hearthpwn is dealing warnings to users who mentions Outof.cards now?

Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]
Here's the card:
Here's the picture:

Akron's Pocket Blast Mage
Yeah doomseyer is a very very strong card. It has been/is played in most of the control deck. And will be played in future...

Strange, I have a link to this site right in my signature on HP.

[Legend 65%] Pogo Lackeys
Heistbaron is already in the deck. I guess I will have to craft Barista if I want to try this deck out.
So Hearthpwn is dealing warnings to users who mentions Outof.cards now?
Nope, advertising was the reason. I have the proof, but don't know how to share it.
Thoughts on 'new' type of minions
I like it!
How to best react when your opponent has the nuts
Don't you ever kick the, or any, for that matter, dog.

Your decks never disappoint. Good stuff!
