  • Snip-Snap in Mech Pally?

You don't have to play it before Kangor's of course.
Since Kangor's is your "Big Bonanza" play, having the opponent have an answer to it easily can be a bit deflating, so having other options for afterwards is useful.

That aside, it can also just be good to beef up whatever you have on the board to keep tempo, etc.
I'd say keep it in if you have the card (in case anyone crazily dusted it).

  • Aggro game play.

    Nowhere specific. She just goes...

Image result for does she go?

  • How many golden legendaries have you opened?

  • Mech Hunter in standard after rotation?

Oh, I know it was older. That's why I was curious if we could just change the title and keep it going here.

I think in that particular deck, oblivitron is too slow. That deck is actually a very midrange deck, whereas oblivitron, to me, feels like it needs Zul'jin to feel worthwhile, and therefore a more specific pool of deathrattles.

  • Out of Cards is... Great

Once there's a way to easily distinguish standard decks from wild (and maybe there is and I'm missing it) this site will have everything I want.

By now, everyone and their mother knows about hearthpwn's fate. So, most of us have migrated here, to out of cards.

At first, the site seemed mediocre at best; I was having trouble scrolling down and using some features, but it is getting better every day.

Keep it up, moderators, you guys are doing great. I hope this site grows to the size of hearthpwn, and beyond!

I almost like this site even more than hearthpwn, for a few reasons:

    1) No pop up ads. It has gotten so bad recently on hearthpwn, that I can barely do anything before I become a 'SUPER LUCKY WINNER!!!' You have no idea how good it feels to be able to browse forever on this site without stupid things coming up!

    2) works MUCH better on mobile. If I am ever using this site or hearthpwn, I am 99% of the time on my phone, whether I be on my commute, or just waiting for something to happen. On hearthpwn, once in a while, I would be looking at people's profiles out of pure curiousity, and I would accidentally hit the 'collection' button. See, my phone can't handle this massive collection being loaded, and I'd often have to close the tab because it would freeze trying to load the collection. Thank God there's no innkeeper on this site :)

Well I apologise for writing a book, but I really wanted to voice my opinion on this new site. Keep up the good work guys, and long live Out of Cards!

I agree that OoC is much better, but I’m not sure about mobile. Specifically trying to get to the forums, the drop down is too long and I can’t scroll without clicking on something else. I’m on an IPhone 6 so it’s not like I have a small or old phone.

That's actually true, I've been having trouble with that too, but I honestly don't really use that feature. I just look at recent forums most of the time. But still, I'd take this everyday over pop up ads every 5 seconds. (Literally, I'm not even kidding) I'd still argue that OoC is better on mobile than hearthpwn was.

Post count is right below your character! How can you miss that. Maybe because it is in grey?

I still don't see it on mobile. What do you mean below my character?

  • [80% WR LEGEND] Control Meta Hunter

    This is wild now.

  • Snip-Snap in Mech Pally?

Is this card good or bad to include? I see many pro players postings lists including it, but I am surprised. When it dies, the 1/1s are horrible for Kangor's Endless Army. But is its value otherwise good enough to justify its inclusion?

  • What class/deck do you play to beat Murloc Shaman?

I have bomb warrior and I loose to murlocs only if i have garbage mulligan

  • Star Aligner Priest

I play a mage deck to get this combo using galaxy spell, using a lot of 7-mana dudes but also some 8-mana giants (which can be pinged/conjured calling'ed/attack) to get more 7-health dudes in play and can also get a lot cheaper without the spell. Fun deck to play, struggles against aggro though but with this cheaper galaxy spell I see more future :). However I think the animation of the combo when it hits could use a little more show/impact/harder sound. The average blizzard/flamestrike makes more noise while this does a lot more damage, and cmon, the stars are falling on your head! That should make a lot more noise than some fire or ice.

Also can be triggered suddenly after you conjure call a 9 or 10 mana minion (like alex or kalec).

  • I changed my mind on MTG Arena

I've been enjoying it a lot and swapping it with HS a lot lately. There's a lot of freedom in decks you want to build (as mtg has always been) and there's a ton of game modes. I wish HS could consider some of the modes they have, such as traditional ranking (with 2 best out of 3 games) and so on.

  • Aggro game play.

    This can go

The FTP grind with MtG is sooooo much easier than Hearthstone and much more rewarding.
I have only played for a month and feel like I already have a fairly substantial collection and haven't spent a penny on the game.

It's really not as horribly slow and grindy as Hearthstone, so I would recommend keeping going with it - you get (usually) at least a pack a day (and more), so it feels like good progression - whereas with Hearthstone you can barely make a noticable addition - probably due to Hearthstone being so limited on cards, etc.

I know MTG feels generous, but in reality the number of cards you get compared to what you will need for a competitive deck is pitiful.

I tried MTG earlier this year, grinding for free for a while. It didn't take me long to realize I would never in a million years have a competitive collection until I dropped some cash -- the lack of a crafting system ensures that. I actually applaud their decision to prohibit the player from destroying his own cards, but trust me, as f2p you will never get enough wild cards to make all the rares you need for a truly good deck.

I finally did fork over some money -- about the same as I would spend on a Hearthstone expansion, just to be fair -- and things got better. I was able to make the decks I wanted, more or less, but I still quit eventually, due to my personal problems with the game itself.

So in summary, the "generosity" of MTG is an illusion; the game itself is not terrible, but I'm personally not a fan.

Agree to disagree? (Since the "generosity" of the game is pretty much based on personal subjectivity to each player individually)

For me, I find it to be much more gratifying and engaging than Hearrthstone - this is partly because the amount of choice you have in what you are given means that there are constantly new decks to explore and I rarely see the same deck multiple times in a row, which already trumps Hearthstone, just for that small mercy!

And not to mention, that though it may seem that there's a bigger mountain to climb in Magic from the outside, as your collection grows, that mountain gets ever smaller, but the amount of choice and variety, doesn't - this means that slowly but surely, Magic eges ever further forward ahead of Hearthstone in terms of gameplay and accessibility.

  • How does this fare against aggro? What are your results against mech/bomb hunter/token druid/tempo-pogo rogue/murloc shaman/secret pally?

  • Quest CYCLONE Mage

    This is wild, not standard.

  • Aggro game play.

I find aggro game play in Magic to be a much different beast (pardon the pun) to that of Hearthstone and the reason (for me) is due to something I have complained about in regards to Hearthstone since it's inception: namely, the fact that minions can attack the opponent's face without any preventative action from the opponent.

In Magic, you are given ample opportunity to throw creatures in the way of big attacks, but Hearthstone expects you to just take the damage to the face without a response. It's a huge flaw and one I've always been surprised they continue to refuse to accept they made and won't do anything to rectify it.

The introduction of the Rush mechanic was a half-hearted attempt at fixing things, but it doesn solve either the problem of Charge minions, or (worse) the fact you cant throw minions or spells in the way to stop the opponent attacking you.

  • [Game] Name another card that has the same...

    Pyros

    Mage Legendary.

  • Support Hearthstone Masters Esports, Get a New Shaman Hero, Card Back, and Packs

I hope I’m not too late for the giveaway. This will be sweet

  • Khadgar's Unexpected Tempo Mage

I have a theory about the conjurers calling spell. The more aggro the opponent, the lower mana minions you can effectively use this spell. Since against aggro its all about the early turns to get that board control, casting the conjurers calling early on a say 2 or 3 mana minion can be game changing since you get in effect a divine shield attack and an extra minion on board for 3 mana, which is a lot of board on turn 3/4/5.

  • Awesome New Deck Guides Post Boomsday Buffs

Mech paladin is going very well to the ladder cause of his great tempo and magnetic combos.

  • Awesome New Deck Guides Post Boomsday Buffs

That rogue deck looks so inconsistent, so many cards that just aren't standalone good waiting for another card to show up to synergize with it.. And the deck has very little card draw(it has card generation, but just one card actually draws cards) seems weird.. Does it even work?

  • The Pepper Thread - Share Some Good Vibes!

I was facing a heavy loss against some hunter when suddenly i topdeck a 1-mana Malygos to dish out the lethal with a Maly+fireball+frostbolt combo. Ha!
