  • Have you tried Pogo Rogue?

in case you're interested. this is my latest pogo deck. I have been working on it since BD, and I reckon this is close to optimal (for me at least) right now.

I still need to test out the magic carpets and SN1P-SN4P, just not sure what I'd replace. The Gatekeepers are actually very good in this deck, even just landing one on an early pogo can help out a lot VS. more aggressive decks.

If anyone has any suggestions having played more pogo in this meta, for what I might change to accommodate 2 or 3 extra cards (not sure if you'd want 1 or 2 carpets) I'd love to hear about it.

Here is the MK-3 anyway (it's more like the MK-5 at this point, but it's the 3rd deck in the "Death Bunny" saga, the other iterations were more like "2.1, 2.2" etc.

  • Will they move Whizbang to the Classic set?

As far as I'm aware the Whizzbang deck recipes are the same ones the game recommends to you when you open the deck-building tab, except for the "classic" one which is always the same. Unless they'd stop suggesting new themed decklists with every release there isn't much added work in having Whizz copy those lists, so that's not really an argument against the card.

Personally I think it'd be a great move for F2P/casual players, but I suppose the counterpoint from the business side is that Whizzbang makes actually collecting cards even less important. You can't add your own stuff to a whizzbang deck, so if all you're playing is Whizzbang why even have a collection?

Even if they don't make Whizzbang evergreen I do expect blizzard to continue to print cards like him, Elysiana, both Elises and Prince Malchezaar, not to mention discover effects in general that allow casual players to experience cards they don't own.

I've always felt that that is one of Hearthstone's biggest stengths compared to other (paper) card games.

    You are totally wrong.

I don't know what that means. I'm totally wrong for wishing for this? Or are you responding to someone else?

  • What Has Been Happening At Out Of Cards?

Are yall gonna leave a redirect on HP to here because I am still seeing people upset the site is going away even though it isn't.

  • Khadgar's Unexpected Tempo Mage

Thank you for posting this deck and the code

  • What Has Been Happening At Out Of Cards?

Hangeth thee on! The site has only been live for a week or so? Damn, it looks great already.

  • Will they move Whizbang to the Classic set?

    Quote From doingtheobvious

Moving Whizbang to Classic would mean having to update that card for as long as the game receives updates.

Yep, that will make impossibile for those cards to remain in Standard forever.

Imho, they should print one card with the same mechanic every 3 or so expansions, so there will always be one on each rotation and new players with small collections may mess around a bit with those decks.

  • The Last Chapter of The Dalaran Heist is LIVE!

Comes to show how much the company dropped in status, they just dont care about their good name very much anymore, cause they have such big player base, there will always be someone playin, they dont have to try to maintain any standards no more. I mean it has been happening for years in bits, but it makes me rly sad.

  • Necromechanic Hunter with SN1P-SN4P

I got wrecked by Zoo Lock but I think it was just bad card draw for me. I feel like if I could have gotten an explosive trap out things would have been different. But that was my only loss out of 6 games.

  • The Last Chapter of The Dalaran Heist is LIVE!

Huzzah! The Heist bugs introduced with the last patch are still alive and well. Just faced three Alchemist Wendys in a row. Good thing they didn't bother to fix Heist before releasing the climactic wing. Very Blizz of them.

EDIT: Blizz updated a little while ago and fixed this; frustrating, but finally addressed

  • (Non-Greedy) Pogo Rogue

Barista is insane in this deck, mainly because there is so much battlecry synergy going on overall. She also doesnt rotate out all that soon, so I'd say she is a fairly safe craft. Meanwhile though, you might consider playing a second Vanish, as that is as close as it gets to mass-bounce synergy while also giving you more time to develope a board, whereas Barista requires you to already have some sort of decent Board-state beforehand.

Thank you for the comment and sorry about my late response :)

  • Have you tried Pogo Rogue?

I've been playing pogorogue casually since before the buff. Without card draw it's a bit of a meme deck even if you do manage to shuffle a million pogos into your deck, but if you include Myra's, which I don't have, I assume it becomes consistent(ly terrifying) in the late game.

It's probably fair to say that the game is typically decided by Shark + Miscreant though. The Pogos are the flashy win condition, but it's the lackeys with double battlecry that are the unsung workhorses of the deck. Coin or no coin also makes a world of difference because of the miscreant. The deck is obviously a control-killer but it doesn't auto-lose to aggro if/when you can get a nutty shark turn to swing the board.

  • Will they move Whizbang to the Classic set?

I'm not the first person to suggest this, but I think it's likely and would be a good move. For newer players and players with smaller collections, Whizbang is an easy way to play decks that are at least decent (no, I haven't thoroughly vetted all the recipes, but I imagine some are okay?), and can help with figuring out deck types and play-styles you like before making crafting choices. Also, with the recent addition of SN1P-SN4P to Boomsday, they will have pre-emptively replaced the missing neutral legendary from that set.

  • Adventure To Turn A Card Into A Golden

    Quote From Scorpyon

The trouble is that then becomes a method of card-purchasing (albeit in a fairly lengthy process).

You pay money for the adventure.
    You complete the adventure.

You then choose a card (obv a legendary) to make golden.
    You dust said legendary.

You re-craft that legendary (if you want).
You then craft any legendary you want.

The cost of a legendary now becomes equivalent to the exact cost of the adventure.
This may not sound like much, but it's actually a HUGE deal. It changes everything about the game. The game becomes a form of Pay-To-Win since now you can guarantee a way to buy a specific card. It place a real-world monetary value on legendary cards. This means that obtaining cards in the game has a real-world equivalent value and the game can be legally evaluated as being a form of gambling.

It would then have a knock-on effect of requiring legislation and stringent rules put into place, as well as a new age limit (to prevent children access to gambling).
It's a big old kettle of fish right there... ;-)

If it's a one-time-only deal I don't see how it's substantively different from offering a "free" (golden) legendary with a pre-order bundle or upon completion of an adventure, which happens all the time.

If it were repeatable, sure, it'd be a money-to-dust faucet, but I don't think that's the suggestion here. Even if it were, you could still "fix" that by pricing it in such a way that buying packs is more efficient on average.

As for the gambling legislation point, that's already an issue with card packs and lootboxes. This wouldn't change that in the slightest. If anything, this is less random than just buying packs (if repeatable, which again doesn't seem to be the proposal) because you always get a golden legend, so it'd be easier to argue in court how it constitutes a legitimate purchase and not a gamble.

  • The Last Chapter of The Dalaran Heist is LIVE!

So looking forward to this. But I'm still ploughing away at Chapter IV... 😬

I'm on the Last Boss with a Warrior Deck that is basically Bonb Warrior. Should be easy.... Right?

  • Card Creation Competitions

Glad to hear it! I’m excited!!!!

  • Dalaran Heist bug

The information is currently based on whatever your Chapter 1 progress looks like: if you do not have a Priest win for Chapter 1, it will look like you don't have a win for the Priest for any Chapter. This bug is purely visual though, as the wins are still being tracked.

For now, we'll just have to maintain a mental note of what we've accomplished *shrugs*

  • Odd Shaman is Real

    Quote From RavenSunHS

I've always wanted to try Odd Shaman, but never really had the gut!

What about Thunder Bluff Valiant? is it too slow/unnecessary?

I haven't tried him yet. I think that it can be too slow, but might sometimes be useful, when you have nothing to play, for example you have only Bloodlust, Baku and Hagatha's Scheme (and Valiant obviously) and you are stuck with two or three 0-attack Totems on the board. I think I will try that especially after i've put Mana Tide Totem in place of Coldlight Oracle here. Thanks for the question, I will definitely add it to the replacement list (the best card to be replaced is probably Fungalmancer as it has a similar function)

  • How many golden legendaries have you opened?

I've been playing since old gods and it's been 7 golden legendaries from packs so far. It sounds like you're really unlucky. Then again getting a golden Flark's Boomzooka, Wilfred Fizzlebang or Icehowl isn't exactly the epitome of luck either, but I'm not bitter at all.

  • The Last Chapter of The Dalaran Heist is LIVE!

Act III Heroic was harder than Act IV Heroic ... Where does the final Act stands in terms of challenge?
We'll see ! Also, I wish those alternate hero skins become available for ladder at some point - it would be really awesome!

  • Dalaran Heist bug

Yeah, the heist has been acting pretty wonky since the boomsday buff patch as best I can tell. Before then it was working fine for me, both qua portraits and properly recording results.

Ever since though..... On the one hand it awarded me a win with all classes on all the chapters, but it refuses to record new wins with specific hero powers or decks. It's weird.

  • Does OUTOF.CARDS have deck code copy for IOS mobile?

    Quote From Intersectional-sofa

    Greetings,
