Khadgar's Unexpected Tempo Mage

As Unexpected Results is costing 3-mana now, it is time for this deck to shine!

Mana Addict and Vex Crow are stars in this deck. They create incredible tempo with Twinspells. Also Vex Crow and Sea Giant synergy is so sweet and surprisingly quite overlooked for a long time. Conjurer's Calling allows you to get most out of your Sea Giants.

3 card combos are rarely work in Hearthstone. Yet, Elemental Evocation + Celestial Emissary + Unexpected Results combo on turn 3 or Elemental Evocation + Cosmic Anomaly + Unexpected Results combo on turn 5 appear to be exceptions for this particular deck. Those cards have synergies with other cards like Frostbolt, Mana Cyclone, etc too. So they're not useless out of those combos.

  • I crafted this deck and it is really fun to play but I find it not very consistent or at least I am having a hard time getting how to pilot this deck. Maybe I need to be less hesitant to use my conjurers calling on low cost minions?

  • I have a theory about the conjurers calling spell. The more aggro the opponent, the lower mana minions you can effectively use this spell. Since against aggro its all about the early turns to get that board control, casting the conjurers calling early on a say 2 or 3 mana minion can be game changing since you get in effect a divine shield attack and an extra minion on board for 3 mana, which is a lot of board on turn 3/4/5.

  • Is it just me or does the deck code not work for this deck?
