  • How is May 2019 season going for you?

This season's been a little bit frustrating for me, in fairness.
It should have had the opportunity for some really fun and interesting decks, but the flood of Rogue and Warrior players has just made it a huge mess.

Even though Rogue received a much needed nerf and has seen a lot less play, the downside is that Control Warrior seems to have taken over instead and this deck is even more exasperatingly frustrating to play against because you know the game will go on for ages until Fatigue, every time.

All that said (and mini-rant over), I am looking forward to the buffs.
I have a Boomzooka Hunter deck that I run which is almost Tier 2 currently, it just lacks a little bit of power in the earlier stages - and I am fully expecting that the upcoming buffs to both Flark's Boomzooka and The double deathrattle card should hopefully give it a slightly better edge.

Watch this space and I'll upload the deck when I've had a chance to get more time with it and see how the buffs play out. :-)

  • How is May 2019 season going for you?

In the beginning of this month I got up to Rank 1, fell down to Rank 4 then climbed again to Rank 1 (with Dragon Mage), I was two wins away from reaching legend, then all of a sudden I got a big losing streak back down to Rank 4. I got super annoyed and stopped playing ladder. This was the highest rank I have ever been, happy about it but sad that I was so close to legend, and I am only doing it so I can get the card back. Saving dust to craft some missing cards for Hunter and Control Shaman, hopefully next month I can get to legend.

  • BEST ROS Priest Standard Ranked [Legend in 1 hour]

Thanks for the deck! Best deck ever! Top 5 in 2 minutes first time ;)

  • How is May 2019 season going for you?

Made the climb to Rank9 without much effort with Mech Hunter and I've been enjoying the crap out of the adventure since it was released, best solo content they have released imho.

  • Is there a "log out" button on mobile?

Yesterday's update added a Sign Out button (among other things) to mobile nav drop down menu as well (in a super basic way for now), so this issue should be resolved for now.

Great post, nice images guys. I love solo content. Would love more variety between wings, but hey, you are more picky for things that you enjoy. And it is so much content that I am still behind of completing adventure with all heroes for both difficulties.

  • Link to decks in profile does not work

  • Please prevent deck spammers early enough, don't let it degenerate like on Hearthpwn

What about making the "with guide" filter the default one, when hopping on the Decks page?

And then one has to manually switch to "without guide", if they really want to.

At some point you could even add in the "with guide" query a minimum amount of characters, if you havent already, like 50 or something like that.

  • Site Errors when going to Threads or Decks page from Profile

The server is in beta. Hopefully they will fix the bug, as i would like to access my decks.

What happens to Shaman's totems with 0 attack? Instant death upon summoning?

Sounds good to me. Filtering by Standard/Wild is not yet there, but I guess it's on the works. Combining sorting by score AND filtering by recent decks only (last week and last month, for example) would also be very useful.

  • Out of Cards Changelog - 2019-05-29

Greeting from Moscow, dear Robert Veitch!

I would like to express my appreciation for your awesome work! Hope you overcome the difficulties provided by Curse/Fandom soon!

P.S. Are there any plans on website achievements? I really enjoyed them on the previous platform!

  • The MtG:Arena Player's Club Tavern... of Doom....!

As someone who isn't a BIG MTG player, but does play it occasionally and is interested in getting into it more, I have actually considered getting MTG: Arena. It looks really cool and faithful to the original game and it would probably help me learn more about it.

I must ask though, how is the F2P experience for you guys? I've heard both ends of the spectrum before.

I'm definitely not free to play in MTGA, but from what I can tell, the experience is better than Hearthstone.

I did a sponsored stream with Wizards back when they created their new "character progression" system and the unlock pace felt good, the decks performed decently on the ladder (I'm certain can be modified a bit to get even better), and in the end you get quite a few cards. From just the new player perspective, there should be hours of enjoyment without spending a dime.

It also feels more rewarding to go through your daily wins and quest progression. Getting random cards after you get past a certain number of wins is also super cool. I don't know if there is a certain pool they can come from but free cards is always great.

I'm not sure about the whole card crafting system though. It feels better than Hearthstone since you accumulate "wild cards" to turn into whatever card you desire but on paper it may be worse. There is no disenchanting so you have to keep all the cards you will never end up playing with which I know for some F2P players in Hearthstone, that could be an issue.

I definitely recommend giving it a shot though when you're feeling bored and not interested in Hearthstone.

I can confirm that the New Player progression in MtG:A is definitely very good. You feel rewarded for every game you play and you can build up a nice little starter collection quite easily. It takes a good few hours worth of game time to complete the progression path and as you go along the game drip-feeds you new cards and decks to try out.

I found for me personally that the best thing to do was not to buy any packs (or do any drafts) with the in game gold until getting all the starter decks and cards first. THat way you don't end up duping anything and you can find a deck style that interests you.

The thing I have always liked the most about MtG (at least from a nonranked game perspective) is that there are so many different decks to come up against and two games rarely feel the same.
I've never had two people playing the same deck in a row in any games I've played over the last few weeks - you wouldn't believe how refreshing that is after Hearthstone Ladder! Haha! :-)

  • Can We Have a Content Creator Section in the Forum?

Thank you! That is good to know, Flux. Looking forward to it. 🤗

  • Site Errors when going to Threads or Decks page from Profile

As the title suggests, if you go to your profile page and click either the Threads or the Decks button, you get redirected to a blank error page stating that the resource is not found on the server.

  • Welcome to Out of Cards

Oh my TwitchPrime is definitely going to you guys! Thank you so much for the light in the dark times when I heard HearthPwn was closing down! I know you will make Out of Cards an even better place for all of us!

Looking forward to a bright future ;)

I wanted to review the deck I created yesterday so I went to my profile: https://outof.cards/members/drfelip

But, when I click "Decks", I get a "not found" error. Has anybody else had the same problem?

  • How is May 2019 season going for you?

    Quote From Khaostheory1980

    Crap for me.

Cannot get a win streak going no matter what. I swear the game is rigged right now, every deck I play my opponent seems to be the exact counter to it. Normally I get to rank 5 every season but the highest I have been is rank 8 this season.

Losing interest in the game to be honest, especially as it's oddly predictable which class I'll be matched against and what cards they will have at just the right time. I know people say it cannot be proven and match making is random but I don't buy that for a second, there is definitely something strange going on.

    JUST

    DON'T

    SWITCH

    DECKS

You probably already know it, but as a reminder: if you are playing a deck that is reasonably good, if you play it long enough, it is very unlikely that you run into bad matchups for a long time, it's a matter of statistics. If you do this and you still play constantly against decks that are bad matchups for your deck, that means your deck is not suitable for your meta and you need to find a different deck that is good for your meta or to tech your deck. And, by finding a deck that is good for your meta I mean switching once and sticking to the new deck for several days.

  • Strongest Decks After Buffs

Here are the decks that I think will shine after the buffs:

    1) Bomb Mech Hunter - This is already a top tier deck, and having Necromechanic at the 4-slot will just take this deck over the top given the numerous deathrattle minions it already carries.

    2) Pogo Rogue - If this becomes competitive, well...bye control decks. This'll probably wipe out Control Warriors from the meta.

    3) Secret/Mech Paladin - The Crystology buff is BIG. Tutored draw for two cards at only 1 mana? That'll draw your Secretkeepers and other mechs. Card draw was Secret Paladin's biggest weakness, maybe this buff can address that.

    4) Heal Druid - Gloop Sprayer being buffed to 7 mana assures you'll draw Lucentbark from Juicy Psychmelon every time. I don't know if this will make the deck competitively viable, but it'll be interesting nonetheless.
