EDIT: Here is Party Greeter, playing off of the Dinner Performer mechanic. Because this competition doesn't already have enough Priest, Warlock, or 3-Cost cards (lol).
Really liked the set overall. End-of-year Mini-Sets have the advantage of having mechanics for all three expansions, which makes them extra spicy. I really enjoyed After Hours and Suspicious Syrup in this regard.
The flavor overall was also really good. Morning After Regret and Social Butterfly are favorites of mine for this reason (although a 3/3 butterfly must be pretty huge butterfly)
At this point I won't repeat myself and just remind of my comment on Kai'Sa actually not even being answered by answers because of shuriman support cards and because your first Kai'Sa is buffing all Kai'Sa s to come with spellshield regardsless if she survives or not.
Yeah, depending on your preference for worse best champ, is largely down to your personal pressure points and play style.
Kaisa is strong but I intrinsically understand the counter.
Snap your answer on turn 5 before passing turn priority, that makes sense I can wrap my head around that, although demanding such a rigid response is frustrating for players who want to play their own way, in a card game.
Bard is my personal least favorite champion, because he breaks the conventions established by the "Runeterra Region"
Ie. you can put any type of my card in your deck you want, but I convey no inherent advantages beyond deck flexibility.
This is how Jhin, and Evelyn works and it's perfectly fine and balanced.
Bard on the other hand provides massive statistical improvements both in terms of win rates and actual follower stats just by existing, just by being a thing, just by having the card in your deck and not even in hand.
This is dumb, please rebalance Bard cards so his kit is self sufficient, and remove his free stat improvement of 3 chimes per turn when he's the only Runeterra champion that works this way.
Imagine if Temo planted 3 shromes in your opponents deck per turn for free with 0 interaction.
So yeah while evolve can definitely be easily tweaked by demanding one more keyword to proc, Bard needs a full rework, because every deck he's in is improved by his mere presence, and I don't know about you guys but I didn't sign up to play Legends Of Bard the card game.
Update(-s): Been adding a few decks here and there, from the likes of Habugabu, Thijs, Bunnyhoppor, etc. Mainly something extra for Thief Rogue/Priest enjoyers. Might throw in a couple more later; we'll likely turn our attention to another larger compilation once the 1st week of Castle Nathria is fully over.
Wait... Shadowlands has lore? I thought That went out the window back after Legion... Lore... didn't think they care about Lore anymore, since they just recon everything to make the current story work.
Jokes aside: I don't think that Kai'Sa and Bard compare well.
While Bard is overpowered and boring Kai'Sa is uninteractive and frustrating to deal with.
Both aren't fun matchups although i pref boring over unfair ones.
In the end both could use a tweak to be less annoying but what do I know as a pleb who doesn't really play much runterra right now
Okay played some more games now and I am now 100% certain: Kai'sa MUST be adjusted to leave removal based strategies a way to play the game.
If you don't have the perfect answer for her as she lands you will lose and even if you should have the answer the opponent might have the answers to your answers right away because shurima.
The fact that lvl 2 Kai'Sa is so easy to get and will win you the game easily on her own turns she into an "I win button", worse than Lee Sin was at his hights
It should work based on the text, but yeah... I watched the video waiting to see it, and more importantly see what his plan was after both decks were gone. I was as disappointed as Mark to see it not happen. My guess is that every card in the deck has a marker of whether it was included in the build or generated, and even though they swapped decks they are still not generated cards so they aren't counted as haven't not started there, even though they didn't start there. If you will excuse me I'm hungry. Talking about Blizz coding got me in the mood for some spaghetti!
In a way, Prince Renathal has certainly made the whole deck compilation business trickier than it used to be. And now there is always that question of whether it actually improves any of the existing archetypes compared to their 'base' 30-card versions, which only seems to encourage players to keep testing.
I think its fairly unanimous that the card is mostly beneficial to both hunter and druid. Quite a niche for other classes as it stands currently.
Renathal might as well be an exclusive druid card because I cannot imagine druid playing without it. The class has always, in my opinion stupidly, had 'inconsistency' as part of its identity so team5 justifies printing loads of OP cards for this one class because druids tend to die before they play them anyway. That 40 health helps a ton, and since druid tend to draw well enough and their cards are insane anyway the extra 10 cards might as well be part of the benefits.
Same with hunter. Loads of great end game stuff but without healing and only 30 health I think team5 calls it balanced. But here comes 40 health and suddenly hunters can actually ignore board, hp face, and play their end game so its all benefits to them. Suffering only the mild inconsistency, but high rolls make it insufferable nevertheless.
Im only afraid that team5 would now turn their attentions to dhunter's power level (or lack thereof) next and suddenly we're facing 15 damage to face on turn 6. And where does that end? 8/8 divine shield turn 4 for pally next? Rogue drawing their deck turn 5? Whatever it is, 40 health is not trifling, and a lot more difficult to balance without upping power levels.
I really feel Prince Renathal should grant 10 health but at the same time shuffle 10 random cards into their deck. That to me is a more balance card, but admitably I dont think its going to happen. And druids would probably still play it anyway.
The abbreviation for the new Druid deck is D Druid, because you probably have to be a massive dickhead to play this deck.
Quest Hunter has not been nerfed whatsoever, because we all know people who play this deck can only count up to 2, and any higher would be confusing for them.
People who play Imp Warlock probably only like to play a deck with minions the same size as their dick.
Skeleton Mages... I ain't got anything to say, you guys are pretty cool.
I always suspected you might be from the future, as at the moment of your post it wasn't even 4 full days with the set! I know, I know, who would be keeping such an exact count.
Some solid points. I still can't believe we've gone two full expansions without Wildheart Guff getting hit. Nightcloak Sanctum feels like so much value for so little. I didn't have time to play enough with imps or against imps to see what the hype was all about.
In a way, Prince Renathal has certainly made the whole deck compilation business trickier than it used to be. Not particularly high on this one, 2 damage AoE is extremely low for a 6 mana spell.
It's 2 damage to each minion currently on the board, plus whatever damage the summoned skeletons manage to do, plus 2 more damage from each skeleton when they die. That usually turns out to be extremely high if you use it correctly.
Kel'Thuzad thinks adding a silent 'e' at the end of words makes them sound cooler.
"Borne" is the preferred spelling of the past tense of the verb "bear," meaning "to support." The name means "supported by death." If KT were to add an 'e' to the correct spelling, he would make it "Deathbornee."
Next time ya'll need to double-check the order in which you submit your Colossal card tokens: it makes a difference based on the art you used :P When Colossal minions are summoned, their tokens come out on either side based on what the art depicts; I wouldn't say it detracted from my voting, but it looks silly if the cards aren't in the correct order.
...I might be the only one who cares about this lol.

Yeah you can hourglass, you can deny with Kaisa
And Ionia can bounce and stun and deny with Bard shen.
So its no surprise that the two least interactive champions are also experts at disrupting your opponents disruption.
Saying which flavor of meta is more toxic is like asking which flavor of ass you'd rather eat on a plater, the answer is throw both of them out.

7th August update: Dane's Hadronox Druid (Murder at Castle Nathria)
Taunts, Owls, and Deathrattles! In today's video, I am featuring Dane's glorious Hadronox Druid.
1) use armour gain to survive the early turns and play defensively
2) Ramp mana with Guff
3) Use Sesselie to discount your big minions - like Owls and Forgefiends. Use Hedge to trigger her deathrattle if needed.
4) Use the Twig for more mana gain if needed, and go off with Umbra / Owl / Cubes
5) With your mana ramping and with the Sesselie discounted draws, hopefully you can fit in everything you need across 1 turn!
6) Oh and Baron Rivendare is in the deck, for double triggers!
