Question is in the title: have you purchased a cosmetic, and/or do you plan to buy one? Are there any particular cosmetics you want to see in the game? I'm just curious if anyone has bothered; I have yet to see something new in my Runeterra games.

I want to buy a board or two, but I haven't done it yet. Looking up the music on YouTube has led me to believe I will eventually buy the Iceborn Peak board, and possibly the Slaughter Docks board as well. As for everything else:

• I don't see the value in the guardians, but if they ever hand one out I'll take a Silverwing, thank you.
• My favorite card backs currently are the ones you earn (namely Freljord, Bilgewater, and Demacia).
• I don't need new emotes because I'm fine with just the Hello-Braum and the GG-Shen.

My hope/dream is that eventually we'll see a cool Leona vs Diana board when Mt. Targon comes out, and then I'll just use that one forever. I would also insta-buy a Lissandra board, but that would probably overlap too much with Iceborn Peak.

I have some ideas for what rule sets Riot could implement for Gauntlets and Labs, let me know what you think of them!

1. A max of 3 Regions

2. A max of 6 unique champions (so you could have up to 18 total champions in a deck)

3. At the start of each round, players who had the attack token last round and didn't use it create a Fleeting Relentless Pursuit in hand 

4. 25 Nexus Health 

5. Players start with 1 Spell Mana and a 0/1 in play

6. The Power and Health of all units is swapped

7. The cost of units can be payed for with up to 1 Spell Mana. 

These were just some off the top of my head, but I think they help show how amazing Labs and Gauntlets could be for Runeterra! 

There has always been pros and cons of live card balancing in games when compared to the hands off approach of mtg.

For one, you can unintentionally ruin what has made you game fun by listening to your fans, Gwent being a great example with it's gold update.

Similarly, with it's limited card pool and emphasis on champions,  Legends of Runterra has to be cautious not to make too many archetypes unplayable.

So what changes did we see and what are the meta implications...

1. Stand alone no longer works with Zed, this list want never top tier so why did Riot want to kill this champion

2. Elise is worse because she can't flood the board with brood swarm - again not on the tier list so this nerf doesn't make sense

3. Legion rearguard was an aggro card not a burn card per say, so now Darius and Katarina are worse

4. Badger bear was showing up in control decks, but they nerfed the damage not the toughness, so they made it worse at aggro but still good in control

5. Unyielding spirit still exists so Fiora is fine, even though she was the nerf target

6. Boomcrew nerf was needed and well implemented

7. Grizzles ranger got double nerfed and is now unplayable

Unintended meta consequences

control variants are the only archetypes worth playing mid range and aggro are dead

So no bannerman, no noxious anything that isn't swain

Region diversity will appear healthy, but deck archetypes will all be very slow

Fun for some, absolutely awful for the majority of players 2/3

Do something about Unyielding Spirit already! That card is BS and people are finding even more BS ways to use it.

I would like better Sound cues's for when my Time is about to Run Out it's fairly easy to think about whom i use witch spell tu use on or who i use to defend and lose sight of the timer

Does anyone know if the decklists for the AI opponents are available?  I just came across a deck called, "Tortured Souls" (Kalista & Thresh) that really intrigued me - as it crushed me as well.

The story here is Ezreal, the master of activating traps due to relics. accidently released the 7 mortal sins onto Runeterra.  Well, 5 at least. They now have rooted themselves to a region that fits them. They corrupt them with their evil. They first take human-like garbs to best fit it, but as they get more powerful, they reveal their true forms. Hope you enjoy this, it is been fun to make.

So as usual (As of now) Blizzard will probably replace Leeroy Jenkins, Acolyte of Pain, Mind Control Tech, Spellbreaker and Mountain Giant with other cards whenever they will be bad (like last time) or decent.. we don't know they made better balance decisions lately so maybe they will make those cards more niche.

Well the main point of this thread is some kind of advice: if you are a long time player and your classic collection is full/almost full, don't open classic packs! , I realize it only 3 weeks ago.. sadly..

Since if you wait until those replacements are introduced, you will get new cards rather than duplicates thanks to the new duplicate rule. also there should be some DH cards this year that will go to the classic set probably at the end of the year so if you have DH cards you didn't get this year and they go to classic you will get them on those unopened packs!

If your classic collection is quite small this probably doesn't apply to you but, with the new rule I guess most players can get a full set of classic common/rares within 3 months or so of playing. so you also might want to wait until you open more of those classic packs you get via quests or tavern brawls.

I've spent a little time while watching TV tonight writing a quick script to parse my pack tracker data.  Playing on 3 regions this can get confusing to keep track of as last time I looked (some time ago) there wasn't anything that handled this for multiple accounts/regions.

So basically I turned this:

(where P=Packs,  E=Epics,   L=Legendaries and LE/LL is how many packs ago Last Epic/Last Legendary was)

I don't have good data from around Rise of Shadows and before, hence why some of the above looks like they had hardly any packs for earlier expacs.

How do you keep track of yours?

Is anyone having problems with audio files on mobile? Starting a few weeks ago, most sound effects are either cut off or don't sound at all. This includes minion play effects, emotes, and a few more. The music works fine and some effects, like the card draw and quest progress sounds, work okay. 

I'm on a Samsung Note 10. Any users of other phones experiencing similar problems?

Until his release, the card was debated between skepticals and those who saw potential in this card.

Turns out the card's main weakness is how early you can draw and play it: you need to play the upgraded HP at least a few times, in order to get value from the card.

Which is a bummer, comparing it to the other Highlander cards.

So why not buffing the guy?

A) There are many ways, but an easy one to me is just giving the Aldor Attendant treatment and buff Sir Finley of the Sands to a 1/3 for (1). This would give two benefits:

1. It could be tutored much more easily: Call to Adventure, Crystology.
2. It could curve out much better, with an upgraded HP slapped directly on t2.
3. It would still be bound to card draw RNG AND Discover RNG (so you can never deckbuild with soecific HP synergies).

B) Another option would be to turn his effect into a Start of the Game. It would reduce the adaptability of the choice, since you still don't know your opponent besides their class, but I think it would still be a great improvement, and smart players would still be able to predict correctly the best choice, or at least the beneficial jack-of-all-trades choice. This would remove the card draw RNG, leaving the Discover RNG only.

Given the Discover nature of the card (3 random options of 10) I am fairly sure there is hardly any way to make the card suddenly broken (you can never build the deck around specific HP anyway), so any buff would be pretty safe, and it would give Highlander Paladin a chance to shine a bit more, at least as an offmeta deck, and we all know Highlander is always a favored archetype for many, so making it better viable on more classes would be a really smart move.

Finally, The fact Paladin may benefit more from other cards has nothing to do with buffing Finley. It's a false conflict (and not an argument here).

Dont know if this is the right place to post this but an issue occurred  today while playing Expedition. My last win was not recorded and it showed a "failed to connect error" . Im using LOR Guardian app to help me play this game, and it was recorded there .

In honor of his buff in the upcoming patch, I thought I'd share what I think is the best Vlad deck.  Note that it is an evergreen deck with no Rising Tides cards--not by intention, but because I honestly don't like any of the new cards in this decklist.

Cards I considered but ultimately cut:

• Ember Maiden has some potential, but I don't like the downsides: you can't stop it, it hurts your own nexus, it triggers opposing Crimson Disciples, and it usually only lives 1.5 rounds.
• Kindly Tavernkeeper is popular in other decks but I just hate the slow speed and meager effect.  Even with the upcoming attack buff, I think he's just too underwhelming
• Mogwai loves Noxian Fervor in this archetype.  For me, I just really hate dealing 3 to my own units here: it usually means the unit will die, and this deck succeeds or fails based on maintaining board presence.
• An earlier version of this decklist ran Noxian Guillotine.  While its definitely an underrated card in general, I think this deck needs units and buffs a lot more than it needs a conditional removal spell.
• I played a little with Stalking Wolf: it often can kill its own rabbit for free progression, and a 3-attack challenger threatens many key backline units.  Ultimately I cut it because I didn't like its lineup against P&Z/Noxus burn, but that may no longer be a factor
• I'd love to incorporate Avarosan Hearthguard--everything in this deck really loves buffs--but its just too greed.  The current 4-6 drops all have more immediate impact due to synergies and the 1-3 drops and buffs are necessary to contest early game.

Cards currently in which I could reconsider:

• Starlit Seer is in mostly to provide a couple more 2-drops in case we miss Crimson Disciple.  This was necessary with the prevalence of Noxus/P&Z decks; if aggro's popularity goes down, I could see cutting it.
• I have a 1-of Bloodsworn Pledge carried over from my original list.  There are times when it wins me the game--e.g., land it on a regenerating unit, or a disciple which my opponent assumed was going to die.  Other times, it just feels like worse version of Take Heart.  As a result, I don't feel strongly for or against it.
• Babbling Bjerg is a similar carried-over 1-of.  He tutors the Vlad, which means you can either play Vlad on board (which is usually a good thing) or if you have an existing Vlad he's a Transfusion (which is always a great thing).  In practice, though, he feels slow: there's almost something more interesting I'd rather do with my mana.

Are Unassailable Decks good vs Meta?

Hello there people! I saw that this part of fan creations is bare. Like really dusty. I'm here to fix that! This is what I like to call a booster set because no new region is present here. 

So what is the story here? It all began when our good friend Ezreal unleashed the 7 mortal sins onto Runeterra. Well, 5 of the 7 at least. They now spread across the regions clinging to the ones that relate to them the most, corrupting them.

One thing I have say: the SINS are champs here, not any regular ones. I know this is not going to be well received, but I have my heart set on doing this. 

Now that is out of the way, this is just here to put a place to display them. I have ideas, but they are not cards yet. This is just to set up. Remind me to delete this later. Also, if you want to create cards with me, join in! PM me and I will assign you a region to do if you want. Individual cards are fine too. I claim P + Z though. I'll update this in 24 hours or so with cards. 

It is a highly frustrating mechanic. You can do whatever you want with no counter play if it is burst which is BS and inherently makes any card that isn't burst speed tremendously worse.

I get. Its a way to have a different type of counter play outside of having a bunch of counter spell type cards. But the difference is that playing another card to counter a spell feels good. Like you out played them. But playing a bust spell just feels cheesy overall. One the other person can't counter it and for the caster it requires no forethought as to what the other player may do to counter it and have to ask themselves how do I counter their counter.

Burst is a completely brainless mechanic that is frustrating for the enemy player and encourages brainless play from the caster.

There are still other BS cards that need adressing, mainly:

- Unyielding spirit -> it shouldn't be able to target champions
- Atrocity -> it shouldn't be able to target nexus, you might reduce cost to compensate

I think it's bad design in any card game, when you can make a deck where the whole winning condition depends on 1 card, and 1 card alone and a strategy which is virtually uncounterable. No card should be THAT powerful. 

So I finally decided to try to reach Legend for the first time, which seemed doable with the new ladder system. So I crafted Dragon Hunter, which was cheap and, according to Vicious Syndicate, looked quite strong and with fast games, and climbed to Diamond 10 pretty easily. Then I switched to Galakrond Secret Rogue, because I don't like Hunter a lot, and I slowly climbed up to Diamond 6. I progressed quite slowly, so I switched to Dragon Hunter again. But after reaching Diamond 4, my winrate has dropped dramatically, and I've been floating between Diamond 5 and 4 for many days. I even crafted Dragonbane to try to improve my winrate, but to no avail. I thought it was just bad luck (it sometimes happens), but after 3 days of bad luck I think it has to be something else. I don't think the nerf to Scavenger's Ingenuity has been that bad for the deck, maybe it's just that I'm not good enough. Whatever. 

I'll probably try again with Galakrond Secret Rogue, but I'm a bit discouraged, I don't have a lot of experience with that deck and I missplay too often; and with only 5 days to go, I don't think it's a good idea to switch to a completely different deck. Any advice?
