Hey guys, just wanted a little help on building out my Wild Collection. Just some background, I started out shortly after Boomsday launched and have worked feverishly to build as large a collection as time and money allows. Thus far, I have a full collection of Standard and most of the cards from the Kobolds, Frozen Throne, and Un'Goro expansions. I've also bought and completed all the old adventures that rewarded cards and just finished crafting all the Hall of Fame cards. I'm really wanting to fill out my collection in Wild and was wondering which expansion I should focus on next to try to maximize the number of high quality decks I can put together for Wild. Ultimately, I want to complete a full collection of both Wild and Standard, but that is a long term goal. Right now I just want to build the most powerful collection for the short term. Trying to follow the Pre-Order pages. I don't see anything mentioning a hearthstone card back or hero for pre order or ownership. I'm hoping this was done on purpose after feedback from users not wanting to buy other games to get in game hearthstone additions.

I'm a Card Back collector myself, so I'm keeping an eye on it, but has if anyone has heard/seen anything related to Shadowlands and Hearthstone, let me know.

Is the collection manager and app like Innkeeper from Hearthpwn ever going to make it to this site?

It was the one thing that kept me coming back to Hearthpwn back in the day and as much as I prefer the coverage and forums here, without a card manager to help with knowing which decks I can easily craft or not, I'm more inclined to use Hearthpwn over this site.

As usual the story in the deck description is the primary reason for the deck to exist, so don't expect great results out of it. At least it is stronger than the last one by virtue of having the highlander cards in it, plus the embarrassment you get your opponent to feel when you win is worth it.

Really though, I tried so hard to find any reason to play The Boogeymonster, and the best I could come up with was the tiny chance of giving it to your opponent with Mischief Maker. At least I can make it the star of a story I guess.

Any idea when the new cards will be revealed?

As we are preparing for the grand finale of the Hearthstone Year of the Dragon, let's take a moment to appreciate all the entertaining and flavorful trailers we've gotten over the years so far. I'd like people to rank their favorite Hearthstone trailers and list the basic reasoning. Doesn't have to be every single one if you don't want to. For example, I tend to judge the trailers by how catchy/humble I find them. For this reason, Rastakan's Rumble and Saviors of Uldum are at the top, while non-musical trailers like Ungoro or ones with little music like Rise of Shadows are at the bottom. Tell us your thoughts and prefrences for what you like to see in these trailers. 

As per title.

The deck seems to have everything: cycle, healing, mana cheat, broken removals.

Not unbeatable, but virtually flawless. It can't kill you by turn-6 as Sniplock could, but it can realiably survive long enough to just OTK you later.

Dirty Rat is too much of an highroll tbh, Aggro and Burn seem too unreliable. The window to kill them seems very narrow, to the point i typically feel hopeless against their ruthless cycling (historically, decks with so much cycle used to die in few turns while trying).

Am i just seeing the empty glass?

I made this class for HearthPwn's Class Creation Competition #5, "Trials and Errors". I finished second-place overall, losing to Pircival's Archaeologist class. Within this theoretical scenario, Team 5 would have included Kel'Thuzad/The Lich as the tenth class of vanilla Hearthstone, implying that Curse of Naxxramas would not exist in its current form. So, with that in mind:

As a Lich, you will hold power over the forces of death and destruction, and freeze the very life from within your enemies. You will lead an undead army seemingly without limit, sweeping across this land like a plague. You will grind down the living until they succumb to the inevitable, their tired bodies given over to you to serve in death. Eventually everyone will join the Scourge!

Gameplay Summary

In the eyes of Kel'Thuzad, his victory is an inevitability: the enemy just hasn't realized this yet. The undead do not tire, do not need food, and do not feel pain; the forces of the living become weak from endless fighting, while the Scourge only grows in strength. You must show them the truth, wearing them down over the course of several turns until they run out of resources and die, tired and alone. The Lich utilizes various mechanics and gameplay elements to carry out this goal:

• Freeze - Master of the cold dark, Kel'Thuzad can freeze enemies in their tracks, buying him time until they can be dealt with properly.
• Deathrattles - Even in death minions have something to offer. The enemy can't let them live, but removing them creates more problems.
• Resurrection effects - Recycling minions is an efficient way to garner more value out of them, especially with Deathrattles or auras.
• Late-game fuel - The Scourge is infinite. Outlast the enemy until they have been sufficiently drained of resources.

If there's a complaint(?) to be had about these mechanics, it's that together they contribute to slow deck archetypes. The Hero Power can only stall for time, Deathrattles take time to activate, you can't resurrect until something has died, and you have to reach the late-game to benefit from the additional fuel. Similar to how the Hunter's earliest days were confined to Aggressive mindsets, the Lich - at least initially - focuses on Controlling, methodical gameplay. Taking his time, wearing out the opponent until lethal is within reach. You've already won; you just need to prove it.

Cards by Set

While this is all there is for now, I will continue to work on The Lich until I catch up to the Descent of Dragons and the present day. I might also go backwards and add the earlier sets. Everything here is a work-in-progress and subject to change. Thank you to everyone who gives it a look-through, and any feedback you would be willing to provide will be greatly appreciated :D

It's quite obvious by this point Paladin, druid and Hunter will be getting hero cards each representing the explorers.. there are 4 weeks, and 4 explorers.. reno is one I really doubt the others won't be hero cards as well specially since reno isn't the "boss" of the gang it's clearly elise.

Elise: looking at the adventure Elise had a starseeker hero power of making moonsfires, so I think she will go that route with something to do with combos. her legendary uldum card also have to do with combos, so my guess is something along the lines of a 7 mana card with a hero power that generates moonfires for 2 and a battlecry that gives armor or survability. Other option is a value heavy hero power of discovering a card like in battlegrounds.

Edit: in this expansion the druid theme was treants and dragons elise has less to do with treants so she might have to do with dreams as well.

Findley will provide either murlocs or buffs, that's the thing I got from him. About the cost, I predict for him is quite low around 5 cost since his other 2 versions cost little as well. hero power. again the basis is battleground where his hero power is to give minions +1/+1 multiple times as well as the uldum adventure where he summoned 2/1 amalgams, so buffs to small minions or summon murlocs.

Edit: this expansions' paladin theme was mechs,purity and some dragons I don't think this hero card will have to do with those themes though.

Brann, is weird I would say.. battlecries. but it's hunter, and hunter and battlecries don't mesh well together(it's not the hunter's theme at all).

Maybe he will have something about weapons since his second hero power in uldum made a weapon with 1 durability I can see that hero power be the one that actually appears in game or one similar, about his costs... I am not sure, but since it's hunter and they try to push it for late game generally I guess 8 or 9...? another direction they might go with it taming dragons since it's this expansion direction for hunter so he might rushing dragons on his battlecry.

So what do you think they will be? predict away!

So I just played Quest Hunter and encountered a very peculiar (in my opinion) inconsistency:

• Leeroy Jenkins accounts for 1 summon, though stating 'summon 2 minions for your opponent'
• Any cards your opponent plays, that summon minions for you, count towards your Quest

My question is WHY?

Apparently 'summon' is NOT dependent on the actual player summoning minions (otherwise the opponent summoning minoins shouldn't count) but 'players' (?) summoning minions?

Alright, so I'm actually on my 4th region review, now! Ionia is definitely pretty strong compared to the Noxus post I had posted last week considering they have tools like 'Deny'. BUT....do you guys think Deny is overrated!? Personally, I think it is due to it not being about to counter burst spells.

I do have another video up that specifically addresses Deny, but it is also mentioned in this Ionia review. Let me know what you think! =)

PS: Dragon Warrior Archetype

PPS: Had another run where I got 11-0 and finished 11-3 sober...

EDIT: To be fair - I only play Arena when drunk, so these runs were over several days/weeks

So I've been trying to get all of the different classes up to 500 wins.  I've never been good at making my own deck so I thought I would try and get some help from you folks.   

Right now I need Druid (Currently 223 Wins), Priest (Currently 183 Wins), Warrior (Currently 151 Wins), and Warlock (Currently 97 Wins).  I went into DOD expecting to play a lot of Warrior which I did at first but it then have tried playing Druid and Priest mostly.  I'm having trouble finding a deck that I find fun to play first of all.  While the goal is to get to 500 wins I don't care too much about ranking up.  In Standard i'm at rank 15 and Wild i'm rank 9 with 3 stars.  

I played the resurrect Priest a little but I don't really like the resurrect mechanic, it feels slimy to me.  So I found a Galkrond Priest and that was fun but I couldn't win enough with it.  I've played Galakrond Warrior and a little Pirate Warrior along with a couple different Treant Druid's and only dabbled with a Zoo Warlock deck.   I know some of these are the top decks for their classes but i'm hoping someone may offer a suggestion for something a little different even in Wild or help creating a decent deck.

Hearthstone team seems to accidentally added Dragonmaw Poacher back to arena, Lol. And I have encountered.a bug, of the mage minion, that freezes the target with mage hero power freeze card not freezing the target. Currently shaman run with 4 Dragonmaw poachers and keleseth, wtf is happening?

I can't seem to find decent stats on HSReplay, so I'll ask here.

Aggro Hunter is a decent budget deck, but I have some questions about some inclusions.

Many versions run Spellzerker, and maybe I'm using this card wrong, but it seems pretty pointless to me. Wouldn't Knife Juggler be a better card? It has synergy with the Leper Gnomes from the sidequest, Unleash the Hounds and Snake Trap.

Is Wolfrider ever worth it over Animal Companion? Sure overall the later is better, but it's a 1 in 3 to get the one you want (on average). And SMOrc'ing for 3 seems more consistent, albeit sometimes weaker.

Timber Wolf seems a bit weak to run 2 copies off. It's fine with Unleash and to activate Kill Command but pretty weak without that. Could Secretkeeper be a viable option, and running 6 secrets (2x Explosive Trap, 2x Snake Trap, 2x Freezing Trap)? This could even make Sunreaver Spy viable for the 2-mana spot.

Why do some people run Bomb Toss? You can't activate the bombs, unless the opponents uses and Aoe.

I was looking for this forever the other day to show off how simple the win condition for my gonk deck could be without using florist. But i couldn't find one after looking forever, all i could find was a couple reddit posts of people asking this same thing forever ago(like 5 years ago) and getting shit on in the comments by people not even giving an answer because it was supposed to be an obvious solution i guess. glad to see reddit hasn't changed, it's always been shitty.

Still though after further looking i found one that works kinda, but it only has cards from Explorers and it included some cards that didn't even exist, in hearthstone so i stayed away from that after it crashed after me tinkering with it for about 5 minutes.

Is there a simulator where i can set up a board state? Or should i just give up and try to rig one up by taking a screenshot of me fighting the innkeeper?

Welcome to the Legendary Crafting Tier List!

This has been updated at the request of the community. After a solid amount of work to update it, we finally have one that will be updated each major expansion and update! I have done by best to provide a good understanding of how Legendaries are performing in the current DoD Standard Metagame. If you are not sure which legendary you should craft next, this is the place to ask! This is also a great way to know which packs you should be openening the most. Some weight has been given to the Tier List based on rotation.

We only recommend disenchanting golden versions of legendary cards until you know you will not buy more packs from the corresponding set. Keeping even the worst legendaries will increase your chance of getting a good one next time due to the no-duplicate rule. We will try our best to stay on top of the meta-game with updates, and hope this guide can be a valuable resource for new and veteran players alike to make better decisions with your dust!

Disclaimer: A tier list like this can never please everyone; the meta game is dynamic. If you think a card is in the wrong tier, please explain and provide links to deck lists or other data to support your claim.

Grommash Hellscream - Playable in Rush and Tempo Warrior decks.
Harrison Jones - Evergreen neutral tech card.
Tirion Fordring - Great card in Highlander and other Paladin decks.

Dragonrider Talritha - Playable in Dragon Paladin.
Galakrond, the Unspeakable - Galakrond Priest has been underwhelming so far.
Mindflayer Kaahrj - Decent card, but Priest struggles right now.
Murozond the Infinite - Fun card, but Priest struggles right now.
Nozdormu the Timeless - Seeing more play in OTK Paladin and Big Paladin.
Shu'ma - Niche use for token centric decks like Quest Hunter.
Waxadred - Niche card for shuffle and draw Rogue, too slow in most cases.

Saviors of Uldum
Activate the Obelisk - Priest struggles right now and Quest Priest is too slow.
Bazaar Burglary - Niche for Burgle Rogue.
Colossus of the Moon - Niche for Big decks.
Hack the System - Quest Warrior is very niche and doesn't do enough late-game.
King Phaoris - Great card for Big Spell decks, but very niche and slow.
Making Mummies - Quest Paladin will not get better without more Reborn minions.
Raid the Sky Temple - Random Spells have been proven to be inconsistent.
Supreme Archaeology - Staple in weak Plot Twist warlocks, T4 in Wild.

Rise of Shadows
Blastmaster Boom - Bomb Warrior has not been great since RoS.
Chef Nomi - Build-around for Nomi decks, Priest currently has the best version.
Commander Rhyssa - Secret Paladin is not great and Highlander Paladin is better without secrets.
Fel Lord Betrug - Staple in relatively weak Plot Twist Warlock.
Keeper Stalladris - Decent card for some Druid decks.
Lucentbark - Enables weak Druid Heal deck.
Madame Lazul - Weak stats and questionable value.
Scargil - Great card for Murloc Shaman, not playable in any other archetype.

Gral, the Shark - Niche compared to better Draw options for Rogue.
Halazzi, the Lynx - Sees some play in Quest Hunter decks, but not a Staple.
High Priest Thekal - Staple in several heal-heavy decks and some play in OTK Paladin.
Krag'wa, the Frog - Playable in a Aggro Shaman, but not the best option.
Mojomaster Zihi - Tech card vs combo decks, struggles in the Standard Meta.
Oondasta - Synergy with Witchwood Grizzly and other big beasts in control decks.
Princess Talanji - Struggles to find a home after the Standard rotation.

Boommaster Flark - Niche play in Quest and Mech Hunter.
Dr. Morrigan - Sees Niche play in Plot Twist Warlock.
Floop's Glorious Gloop - Niche for Nomi Druid and some Quest Druid decks.
Mecha'thun - Unique win condition, better in the Wild format. 
The Boomship - Playable in Big Warrior and some Mecha'Thun Warrior decks.
The Storm Bringer - Playable in Murloc and Token Shaman decks.
Zerek's Cloning Gallery - Used in some Resurrect Priest decks.

The Witchwood
Azalina Soulthief - Niche as emergency hand refill in several decks.
Dollmaster Dorian - Used in Plot Twist Warlock decks only.
Glinda Crowskin - Niche tech in Magic Carpet zoolock, lackey synergy.
Hagatha the Witch - Slower Shaman decks have been replaced by Quest Shaman, so Hagatha sees no play.
Prince Liam - Niche for Aggro Paladins.
Tess Greymane - Playable in Thief Rogue, low win rate.
The Glass Knight - Struggles to find a home in a Paladin deck.

Classic
Al'Akir the Windlord - Sees some play in Big Shaman.
Baron Geddon - Very niche board clear card without a home.
Deathwing - Playable rarely as a "Just in Case" board clear.
Onyxia - Playable in dragon decks.
Prophet Velen - Struggles to find a home in the DoD metagame and hurt by the loss of [Hearthstone Card (Mindblast) Not Found]
The Black Knight - Evergreen neutral tech card, not great in the current meta but may find a place in future decks.
Tinkmaster Overspark - Sees some play as neutral transform tech.

Descent of Dragons
Nithogg - Very slow card for the cost and the effect may not trigger.

None in the DoD Meta.

Khadgar - Has struggled to find a place since Conjurer's Calling got nerfed.
Nozari - Unique effect, playable in Dragon Paladin but very low win rate.

Tak Nozwhisker - Playable in Thief and Pogo-Hopper rogue, very low win rate.
Vereesa Windrunner - Sees play in Malygos Hunter, but is too expensive for the effect.
Zayle, Shadow Cloak - A poor man's Whizbang the Wonderful.

Gonk, the Raptor - Gonk OTK decks are not viable.
Griftah - Unreliable meme card, very low win rate.
Hakkar, the Soulflayer - Playable in mill decks, much to slow for DoD metagame.
Hex Lord Malacrass - Weak card rarely used in Highlander Mage.
High Priestess Jeklik - Struggles to find a home without Discard synergies.
Hir'eek, the Bat - Sees experimental play in hand-buff zoo, very low win rate.
Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk - Not playable since Baku the Mooneater went to the HoF.

The Boomsday Project
Flark's Boom-Zooka - Bad card in all DoD Hunter decks.
Harbinger Celestia - It's a 4-mana 1/1.
Myra Rotspring - Not playable in DoD metagame.
Zerek, Master Cloner - Effect slow and difficult to make use of, low win rate.

The Witchwood
Archmage Arugal - Not playable in any Mage decks.
Blackhowl Gunspire - Meme card, effect difficult to abuse.
Chameleos - Very weak and unreliable card.
Duskfallen Aviana - Enables some big plays...for your opponent.
Emeriss - Slow card, useless in current hunter decks.
Face Collector - Bad card. Even in Thief Rogue, low win rate.
Lady in White - Playable in silence priest, low win rate.
Splintergraft - Interesting, slow effect, hasn't found a home since it was released.
Toki, Time-Tinker - Inconsistent value card for Mage.

Classic
Gruul - Very slow card
Hogger - Weak to AOE, rarely sees play anymore.
Illidan Stormrage - Rarely sees play due to cost.
King Krush - Struggles to find a home.
King Mukla - Struggles to find a home.
Lord Jaraxxus - Gets killed too easily with Burn or Zephrys the Great
Lorewalker Cho - Meme card, needed for the longest hearthstone turn ever.
Millhouse Manastorm - A liability.
Nat Pagle - Outclassed by Novice Engineer.
Nozdormu - Meme card.
The Beast - A liability.
