Celebrate the Lunar New Year! Choose a class and get a random deck, choose an animal to receive its blessing and power!
In this holiday-themed brawl, we'll be picking a class to get a random deck and then picking an animal to represent once you get in-game.
Trivia
- In the year that this Tavern Brawl debuted, 2020, the Lunar New Year celebrated Year of the Rat.
- The 2020 Lunar New Year daily quests are renamed dailies from the Taverns of Time.
How it Works
- Choose a class. You'll receive a random deck for that class.
- Once you get in-game, you'll get to choose an animal blessing.
- The animal blessing is a discover pick - you can choose from 1 of 3 randomly assigned options.

DK with blessing of the rat (reborn) is just quite potent, despite the weak random lists..!
Here's my own observation;
DK with pig is basically the best one here because the class has plenty of tokens and sometimes you get a massive colossal early and just win.
Shaman with monkey can be tricky, because its fairly easy to snowball quickly. Even pig DK will struggle if they cant get the AoE needed to clear board.
Hunter with dog can actually be scary to face, because the chip damage with hp will eventually finish games fairly consistently.
Ox is generally good no matter the class. I think warrior works the best with it because they tend to get plenty of taunt minions.
Oh, and in case someone doesn't already know this, the blessings are fixed per class. So you can go pig DK 100% of the time should you want to do so.
Anyone figure out the best blessing yet? I'd bet my money on either Horse or Pig coz mana cheat
Went DK and picked Pig, you end up summoning a lot of little minions and the gold let's you ramp up.
Also noticed this, you get a coin when using HP, pretty broken combo
Are the blessings grouped by class? I played twice as Demon Hunter, and was offered the same 3 blessings both times (Pig, Rat, Rabbit). My opponent was a mage both times, and had chosen Dragon. Coincidence?
Previous times we had this brawl you were given the same 3 for each class
You know what? I just played DH and got offered exactly Pig, Rat and Rabbit.
Time to complete my daily quests
