Mimiron's Faceoff
Second Mimiron's head appeared out of nowhere! Take control of a robot army and dispose of the obvious fake.
How to Play
- Both players will play as Mimiron's Head (nominally Paladin) with a deck filled with Mechs and some support spells.
- Both players have the same Passive Hero Power, that swaps each turn.
- On your turn, it will be "At the end of your turn, summon a random 1-Cost Mech. Then flip this Hero Power."
- On your opponent's turn, it will be "At the start of your turn, if you have at least 3 Mechs, destroy them and form V-07-TR-0N. Then flip this Hero Power."
Gameplay Tips
- Keep all low-Cost Mechs in the mulligan - an early V-07-TR-0N can easily win the game if uncontested.
- Annoy-o-Tron is especially useful in guarding your Mechs from unwanted trades.
- Try to deny V-07-TR-0N from your opponent whenever possible - thanks to Magnetic, you may end up getting more than 16 face damage if you let your opponent have one.
- V-07-TR-0N counts as one of the three Mechs and will get destroyed and reformed at the start of turn if possible.
- You can use this to "refresh" your V-07-TR-0N but remember that you will also lose all buffs you had on it.

First attempt I played an Annoy-o-Tron, played and generated a Clockwork Gnome. When V-07-TR-0N formed, one of my spare parts was the one that swaps health and attack. So on turn three I had 32 damage on board.
Meh, basically a one and done brawl coz of the lame HPs and rules making everyone concede instantly when you can't remove 3 mechs. Least it's a quick and forgettable brawl but disappointed that we finally get a new brawl and the rules are poop
I wonder how many old-fogies that play this game owned a VOLTRON toy or watched the cartoon when it was fresh...?
Note that unlike the card Mimiron's Head, the hero power destroys exactly 3 mechs if you have more than 3. At some point I had two copies of V-07-TR-0N in play.
I agree with Dapperdog. Start with the coin; concede. Took me four tries to start first and get the win. One and done for me.
Why would you concede with the coin in hand?
If you get Galvanizer in your opening hand, I think you have a decent chance when on the coin. But indeed, whoever gets V-07-TR-0N first has probably won.
This brawl is a quick one, because 90% of the time it'll end in 3 turns or less. So here's a few tips from myself;
- Always mulligan for Bumper Car, Galvanizer, and a 1 drop. In fact throw everything above 1 mana away that's not bumper car. If youre starting 2nd, it might be worth throwing most things away for a chance at Whirlwind
- If you start 2nd (with coin) there's literally no reason not to just concede right away. If your opponent knows what he's doing you're highly unlikely to ever win this
Chances are good if any side can get voltron, or at least threaten to get him, someone will concede. Team5 couldve seen this coming and at very least make the game slightly slower. But what the hey.
Instead of adding a 1-drop mech directly to the board, they could have made your hero power discover a mech. That would slow things down and add a bit more decision making.
They could've just made the hero power summon voltron for 3 mechs instead of having it flip every turn. That way we're incentivized to get better, stronger mechs instead of spamming with galvanizer.
But I think team5 knew exactly what they were doing. The whirlwind in the decks more or less prove they wanted us to spam bots for an early voltron. I think what they didn't expect was people conceding early so no one's having any fun.
Thanks for the tips! I really botched my first go without understanding the mechanics of this new brawl.
Second go was easy. This may be a fun brawl when playing against other thoughtful brawl fans.
