I'm with you on this: the card only supposedly helps with guaranteeing a lurker will be on top to activate lurk effect consistently, but by itself it won't give any other benefit other than the initial "Lurk" effect on cast?
If you're going for a near 100% Lurk deck you don't need this.
If you want to go deep you will need at least some cross-type synergies like deep lurker monsters...(coming soon on reveal maybe?)
I disagree: I find the "any card duplication" potentially powerful, imagine duplicating a Champion? That card has potential I believe.
It's also hard to judge the relative power level of new cards until the nerfs/buffs of previous cards have been revealed, but yeah Lurk seems a bit meh so far.
Wait, Lurk is a keyword and Lurker is also a type?
Edit: Silly me, I assumed Lurk applied to all creatures that have the Lurk keyword...I didn't notice the creature type until this reveal LUL
I guess it doesn't change how it works, just that IF THEY WANT TO they can make lurkers who don't have Lurk, or creatures with Lurk that aren't lurkers...
Still waiting for a creature with all creature types, just because FOR SCIENCE.
Possibly my favourite Brawl. Quick to create decks, and the games are usually fun.
I like how you can extract the essence of an old deck using 4 (more like 3 in the end..) cards.
Today I faced a spell damage mage, a bunny thief, a discard warlock (ouch), a deck-destroying warlock (nearly got me!), a squirrel druid and a murloc shaman (who both smashed me)....
Cheap Discover bodies or spells are such fun...yes I miss lackeys!
Even though it's still RNG based, somehow here I feel like I chose and deserve what I receive, compared with the Brawls where the Tavern mechanics force-feed you with its own RNG mechanics.
As much as I would like the [Hearthstone Card (Deathmatch Pavillion) Not Found] to work, I am cutting them as they are too little, too late and only circumstancial.
The freshly nerfed Crabrider could still work here as a pure T2 tempo card with a little survivability.
Revolve would certainly be something to dig to remove an annoying obstacle or refresh the board. Back in the recent Evolve days I would keep an Owl as a silencer and a 3-cost body (but now we have too many T3).
Evolve could fulfil that role, maybe in place of Guidance?
I like Guidance as a cheap value and randomness tool..as if the deck didn't have enough!
Seriously, I have never been so upset at HS as the day I finally opened Commander Rhyssa after a very long wait for the bloody Legendary pity timer...all this....for that?
FOUR nerfs targetting the same deck? Wow that's what I call hate.
On the other hand, was Flawless Duet actually used?
Maybe I will get to play my golden Akama?
Could they also please nerf Spell Mage again while they're at it?
I'm sick of playing against that old crap now: T1 coin flow, T2 flow...
If one card in the entire game deserves Diamond status it's Zilliax!
Perfectly balanced, as all good things are.
This will force to play PZ+Freljord in order to reap benefits.
Maybe in a fun deck with Counterfeit Copies?
If this costed 3, yes...but as it stands or even if it costed 4, nope.

I like what I see <3

Hey, Aphelios, I almost completely forgot about that guy!
My first reaction, seeing the card: "Finally some draw for shaman, with nature and elems synergy!"
My second reaction, seeing other classes also get card-drawing dungeonneers: "Meh, shaman is still outclassed in the draw department"
My third reaction, actually reading the card text: "OK so it's possible to tutor two useful things and have a body all at once, very nice!"
5 out of 5.
Based on the video we may get some Corrupted keywords, I wonder?
It would also be awesome if Demon Hunter class could get its own (corruptable?) Primus, with Deathrattle synergy <3
That may be crazy but do you think there would be a chance for something like neutral Caravans synergy cards, at least for memes?

Seriously, how could I forget Custodian?
Also I'm cutting the two Goliaths for more tempo with Derailed Coaster

Got C'Thun, the Shattered, super happy as it was on my crafts list!
I may keep the packs for a little later, enjoying them one a day.
What, Paladins have secrets???
