I agree, a neutral minion with "Battlecry: Destroy all duplicate cards in your deck." is my prediction, if they actually care about making highlander work in standard. Which I assume, they do.
What about “... in both players decks”
I like the idea!...that sure would be powerful but given the relative power level of other cards so far I don't think this will happen.
Remove all duplicates from your deck. Shuffle this card back into your deck.
Yes, it will be the "bomb-cleaner" anti-dupes card.
For 1 mana cost, cripple your deck make your deck a highlander deck.
Or same+reshuffle, for 2 mana cost.
It can be an interesting meta, with decks starting highlander then having to clean up for their effects, and others starting normal then turning to highlander.
Random Baku effect by round 2 with highlander instead of odd limitation?....good...paladin? meh.
What's the worst 3 HP one can discover?
Rogue/Warrior/Priest? This depends a lot on context, it will be worth waiting a few turns to learn about the opponent's game before calling this little guy and making a decision. Interesting though!
Serious chance to discover Paladin or Mage which are GG in any case.
It's going to be an interesting card.
Shame he does't combine with the other heropower boosts tho..they were cautious with him and [Hearthstone Card (Justicar) Not Found] to prevent reaching a hypothetical level 3 HP by overwriting the base HP...
I got it...the FireFest page explains what's about to happen:
Blackrock Crash Week 2: July 17 - 24:
The Blackrock Crash is still going, but now it’s time to call in the heavy-hitters. This week you’ll fight the Blackrock bosses with a new Arch-Villainous playable Hero!
Rewards:
Earn 1 Saviors of Uldum Card Pack the first time you defeat 4 bosses
Beat all 8 bosses using Arch-Villain Rafaam to earn a Golden Rafaam’s Scheme card
I was confused by the Tavern Brawl, where you're supposed to play a league of EVIL member against Ragnaros and company...yet only 4 classes are playable??
But then, WHY is Rafaam not playable in this Tavern Brawl?
MOAR CARDS: Undo the rotations, allow all cards to be played again: wild is the new standard. Of course now you have to nerf cards reasonably so they remain in play without being OP.
LESS GRIND: Blizz be more generous, like give daily rewards of all kind (tickets, packs, cards, dust, gold).
MIX'EM: Allow occasional inter-class mixing for more fun and synergies. That will require infinite slots for decks.
IMO the best of the three revealed quest rewards so far, for infinite card gen value and reasonably easy to complete, with Archmage Vargoth, Mana Cyclone etc.
What statistically unplayable/underplayed cards in the Basic set means is that those cards are likely inherently unusable in decks for any player regardless of their level of skill or experience.
I think that's the root of the problem.
As a new player who joined early in 2019, I was enthused by the then-rotated cards, and left at a MASSIVE loss following this Spring's rotation, even in spite of my small collection.
Some of the standard and classic cards feel like absolute useless junk that will never be usable again as they stand, and some are even Legendaries...so many cards feel just rotten when you open them (Nat Pagle, Tinkmaster, that 1/4 taunt ape every one laughs about...)
I thought they were filler (well the ape seems to be), but only later did I realise they were leftovers of once powerful cards.
It's just a bit sad and it feels like they deserve something to be done about them: replace, un-nerf (partial or total), or just plain HoF.
That said, I now enjoy playing Wild now and then: HoF is not a proper solution and either Wild needs to be looked after properly and respectfully, or new play modes need to be invented so old cards can be used.
I really love the mature approach taken by TES:Legends, accepting "strong enough" nerfs to keep cards but not rotating anything.
To me it is the strength of the digital format, that old cards can always be fixed instantly with global reach, not just banned.
Banning or nerfing to the rock-bottom is just a lazy, unimaginative, disrespectful solution to the players who spent time and money into the game.
The question is: has anyone actually triggered overkill like that before?
Everyone seems so confident...
Until Bees, are there any way to force any other minion to attack one of your minions during your turn?
I may miss something but I can't think of a way to do it, wild or standard.
Wow this could be the mother of all combo decks.
One question about the new Elise is: will it duplicate discounts from the Florist?
I would also add Barista Lynchen for pure greed and moar combo potential.
I learnt something today, thanks!
"Simple" 2-card combo with some oompf (80/6 linecracker)
I can't wait for the sound bit on the Murmy...how does one mrggglglgl without internal organs or a tongue?
no habla español very much, but if I understand properly the new HP is "summon a 2/2 copy of a friendly minion"?
...and judging by the token card, the copy has reborn?
Wow, that's very good.
Edit: ah got it, it's an unrelated murloc mummy card.
OK, duplication still good!
(and reborn would have been OP!)

We'll see how this turns out.
The new cards clearly state "the deck has no duplicate", not "the starting deck".
Has anyone confirmed if it will be possible to "pollute" a deck by injecting bombs/portals/rabbits/whatnot and kill the Highlander effect?
If this is the case, these cards all suck and Bomb Warrior is stronger than ever...
I love this guy. Body and effect.

Mrrrrglglgliful, just mrrrrglgllglgliful.
This card is mrrrgglgllgingiful.

Do'h!! You're right. I missed the boss.
I was confused by the Tavern Brawl, where you're supposed to play a league of EVIL member against Ragnaros and company...yet only 4 classes are playable??

Oh wait, I think I reinvented TES:Legends.
It just occurred to me that...
....so this leaves Warlock as the odd one out, for a "surprise" comeback in the 3rd set this year, against both EVIL and LoE?
What do you reckon?
IMO the best of the three revealed quest rewards so far, for infinite card gen value and reasonably easy to complete, with Archmage Vargoth, Mana Cyclone etc.
I think I'll stick to my [Hearthstone Card (Sunreaver Warmage) Not Found] (and keep on losing with Shaman).
That said the card is not bad!

WAIFUUUUU NOOOO
And I just opened Sonya Shadowdancer.....don't they DARE touch her beautiful art!!
Best reveal so far, for mid-later play IMO.
If it survives, it's free spell generation every turn.
