The weakest of the Librams, I believe. It's not bad but not amazing, even when considering it eventually costing 0 mana and having access to mupliple copies.
This card's biggest selling point is the fact there aren't that many one drops for Paladin. Sure, its effect is outclassed by far by Sky Claw, but that doesn't make it bad.
Insanely busted. Yet, much weaker when compared to Crystology as a draw engine. Then again, Crystology is arguably one of the best cards on the entire game.
I think people dismiss the value that a early game card like this brings to a late game archetype. Yes, Aldor Truthseeker has a bigger effect. But if you don't challenge the board early, you'll be dead by the time its effect triggers.
So, basically, a 1 mana more controlledPuzzle Box of Yogg-Saron. I can see this seeing play. I can also see this card irritating me to no end when the opponent nukes my board or my face. On the plus side, Pyroblast won't work when generated by this, so that's a thing.
If Spell Mage actually becomes a thing, it's because of the huge tempo swing and reach this card has. I don't think it's enough for the archetype, but there is always a chance.
Cute value generator for Secret Mage. But when considering how Secret Mage wants more tempo than value, That makes this card less appealing. Though it can definetly see play.
I don't see this card as a 8 mana 6/12, i see it as a 8 mana freeze a minion. That's laughably weak. I assume this only costs 8 mana because of Incanter's Flow.
I doubt Spell Mage will become a thing for now. Even when considering how powerful a 1 mana draw 3 is.
However, the moment the deck gets a bit more support (it doesn't have to be that much, maybe just one more spell that summons things for the early game), this card will be bonkers.
Ah yes, the spell version of Prince Keleseth. The only reason I don't see this card seeing play is the fact that I doubt Spell Mage will become a thing... for now.
This card's playability will be determined mostly on how easily you can stack up on King Krush. As a standalone card, it's strong, yes, but between summoning a couple of random big beasts and summoning 3 charging Dino's for lethal, option B will always be tastier.
My issue with this card is that it only has 2 attack. Even when considering that it is quite fast, its attack might be too little to kill some beefier targets, even on turn 3. Still pretty powerful, though.
If I remember correctly, Dispatch Kodo was not played all that much. This one feels a bit stronger because it can go face. Still, handbuffs for hunter never really took off, so I don't really see a future for this card for now.
Dispatch Kodo could also go face. But Handbuffing in Hunter was always clunky, so it didn't see much play because of that. Handbuffing still seems a bit clunky to me. I believe Augmented Porcupine's biggest selling point is the fact it curves into Mok'Nathal Lion.
Flanking Strike will always be a more flexible card on this spot. But Flanking Strike was brutally busted, so tis card can see play, even when considering how slow it is.

So it's a single target removal tied to a decent board clear. Which can become insanely cheap. Equality died for this card's sins.

As far as RNG goes, this effect is quite controlled. Added to the beefy minion in its Prime form, it can definetly generate huge tempo swings.

On the turn this awakens, a 2 damage AoE will most of the times be too weak. If it were good, Holy Nova wouldn't have needed the buff it had.
If there is a card I can compare Netherwind Portal to, it's Cat Trick. Except Cat Trick would always summon a decent minion, while costing 1 less.
Netherwind Portal's minion can be much worse than a 4/2 Stealth. If it was guaranteed a good minion, I'd be much more into the card.

Two mana spell tutor is quite OK, but this card is unable to contest a board, with DH arriving.

I believe DR Hunter can make a comeback and it does so because of this card mostly, even though this card is 9 times out of 10 a win more card.
