Reddit mods are playing a game where they reveal the card piece by piece. They did add a reveal time for it on reddit schedule, so the card should be fully revealed at latest on Tuesday.
The site that was supposed to reveal it tweeted that their reveal is in fact scheduled for tomorrow. We'll update the time they gave to our reveal widget soon(tm).
Just a mere speculation, but I think the upcoming reveal by playhearthstone might be a rogue legendary card, judging by the color scheme of the part of the card that we can see [please make fun of me if I mess up at the end, LOL]
And it is corresponding to this teaser artwork [correct me if I'm wrong]
So, is it a zandalari troll mummy of some sort? Or is it just a small part of the full artwork that is yet to be revealed?
I agree, based on that video thumbnail showing a small corner of the card, it's definitely the Rogue legendary unless the colors are somehow messed up.
(I may have even tried to look up some Uldum NPCs from Wowhead but failed to find anything promising)
After Armagedillo I'm definitely expecting some WoW NPCs to fill out rest of the legendary spots, with maybe one "made-up" Hearthstone-only character. I could see the tol'vir being a legendary though since the area is littered with them. Others were a bit too generic looking.
It would be great if custom sorting could be added:
1. By newest
2. By oldest
3. Most popular
Something like this. I often read comments to the posts, but if I skip 20-30-40 of them it's getting hard for me to continue reading from where I left :)
There has been some internal discussion about sorting comments so I'd imagine we'll get alternative sorting methods, but I have no ETA to give.
The video does indeed show two unrevealed Reborn cards, 1/2 and 2/5 Taunt (the latter seems to be on the reveal schedule). No card names or anything though.
Reposting my theory from the Comic Con news post: I'm starting to believe that they will print something like "destroy cards that didn't start in your deck" or "destroy all duplicates" tech card, just because Bomb Warrior would counter all these Highlander strategies so hard if they didn't.
It would also make sense if they first gave the impression that the four explorers were the only highlander cards, but then realized that this unrevealed card definitely supports highlander without actually being one itself. Or maybe it's all just my hopeful thinking, I kinda want highlander to be a thing again in Standard as well.
I kinda expected this card would work with the Giants' base cost but yeah I might be wrong. Still if you play this on-curve, the giant should have decent odds to be your highest cost card.
Blizz finally realized that quite often losing cards = bad, no matter the upside of discarding. These targeted discards certainly add depth to the mechanic.
That's an interesting effect for sure. Mountain Giant is an obvious target, especially with Evenlock in Wild. I wouldn't hate having two copies of Bloodreaver Gul'dan either...
I like the Highlander archetype but it needs a lot more support if they wanna make it work. Plus Bomb Warrior is still a thing, so who knows if the Highlander archetype will be worth playing anyway.

And I don't think they'd like to see this many legendaries to be obsolete until rotation (although plenty of bomb stuff will survive the rotation, yayyy....).

Blizz is clearly having a go at Reynad's own card game The Bazaar with the name of this one.

Sounds good to me. We'll start working on that, possibly quite soon.

You scared me that we would've forgotten to add it.
I'd imagine this will be in every Murloc deck like Mecharoo is in aggressive Mech decks.
Wild Bloodstinger is a combo disrupting tool on a decently sized stick. Heavy potential to see play but it depends on the meta.
Scarlet Webweaver's Beast discount is crazy, it certainly allows a lot of combos I don't even want to think about.

It wasn't, it has now been updated.
Art updated, if it's still weird then it's not on us.
I love that they're trying to push Highlander Mage again but it will need more support than just Reno, the effect isn't sadly good enough.
Only seven legendary quests were datamined, so no more left.
And yes we'll get a third SoU pack from next week's brawl.
