This is a prime example of a good list - on paper - that tends to be too much draw-dependent to be viable ... Success relies on RNG and pilot ability to adapt.
I personally prefer adding 2x Kabal Crystal Runner - for consistency - as well as running 2x Flame Ward, proven to be really useful against both aggro and mirror match-up. Ice Block ain't that necessary, except for the sticky part of it triggering some of your minions effects

I do agree 100% with you, but for the sake of playing devil's advocate, Taunt Warrior for instance received multiple salves of reinforcement, from Ungoro to SoU. Burgle Rogue and Big Spell Mage been alive for a while too, revised and perfected over the expansions. And the counter example would be totem shaman that has been pushed for quite some time now with little to no success ...
If I understood right, for a Junior to become a senior, you have to take them on a successful expedition. Say I use Finley's Jr. Scout to clear the 1st act, I think upon completion of said act, Jr. would level up. It'll only works when all 4 chapters are available, like Asprobourboulis pointed out .. mea culpa. Fact > Assumption
I’m at 6/9. Still need 75 wins for Garrosh, 250ish for Anduin and around 300 for Rexxar. Looking forward to completing the grind as I don’t particularly enjoy playing these 3 classes.
My first one was Shaman, then Paladin, Mage, Warlock, Rogue and Druid.
At least, those 3 classes all have viable lists to compete, especially Priest in standard, which isn't that common! ^^
If you were to play a 60 cards deck, you would also need to allow for more than just a pair of each cards ... say 4 for commons, rares and epics, which would be impractical
