Having another class added this soon I think would be a bit much. As much as having a Monk would be super fun, the game needs to still settle from the inclusion of Demon Hunter. If they continue to add a lot of stuff all at once, then they are going to be caught up play catch up for a long time to recognize how they all will mesh together, if there is cross over, too much or too little of a mechanic, etc... For now, I am looking forward to seeing DH develop more and the rest of the classes as well.
Now including more races in the hero selection... that seems like a super easy thing to do.
I"m glad to see that they realized how ridiculous this combo was and did something about it. I am quite bummed that I was caught up in trying to complete all the new quests since the "mini-set" cards were released to bother playing either of the decks that were causing people to rage quit.
Thank the Gods! I am on win 9 of my run with my Mage and the only thing that has stood in my way are those damned Deathrattle Hunters with Death Games, Cannibalism, andBonecrusher. Seriously, I know that the elemental mage build I have been playing around with has caused many of my opponents to outright quit once I get going, but the fact that those Hunter abilities flow so easily is a joke.
Total RNG. I chose Warlock and started with 2 [Hearthstone Card (Ragnaros the Firelord) Not Found] and drew into another one with two of the Offensive Play and then getting another one in my hand meant my opponent conceded on turn 5
Pretty cool interaction. I mostly play on my mobile so I lose out on the ability to do a lot because of screen space, but things like this make me want to play desktop
Is there a good replacement for N'Zoth, God of the Deep? I don't really want to craft it, but if it is something needed to play I'd be willing to do it. I was thinking that C'Thun, the Shattered may work as long as the draws work out.
They like cards that have a low power level but can have some devastating effects. (Tickatus)
If Mindrender Illucia is the top card in the meta, they've screwed up at the power level aspect of fun.
No timetable on when some older cards like Lord Jaraxxus might be updated to a newer mechanic, but they have done some work on it.
Mini Sets
4 months between game updates is too long which is why they're doing mini sets.
Doom in the Tomb was a chance to try a mid-expansion meta swing but it wasn't big enough.
"Mini-sets are unlikely to introduce a wacky new keyword like a set is, and when they do we'll try and peel back complexity from the set before/after."
I would like to see that with each "year of" cycles they do, they focus more on one type of ability. For example Year of the Mammoth sets focused on Discover, or Year of the Funky Chicken focuses on Insight where all of the set and mini-sets expand on the ability. I like that we have so many options with having a new ability every 4 months. However, Insight was quoted as being a great idea, but not really pushed as a great game mechanic.
Not doubting the R&D abilities to come up with new game mechanics for every 4 months, but having a few sets to really focus on a mechanic feels like it could really do wonders. A perfect recent example of this was the lackey engine that persisted through a number of expansions. It was/is a really cool mechanic that was awesome for the initial set. The fact that there was lasting support to expand on it for a number of sets made it more fun to splash it into decks, or even create a whole deck around that mechanic. And since Dean hints at deck creation later in the article, this seems to flow for that.
I've been wanting to see this and something that stops battlecries as well. I can see this being a tech card in wild, and something wholely loathed by Hunter in days to come.

Does anyone know what the algorithm looks for when giving you any specific option?

Guess I know what I am going to be doing in my off time today

I am totally looking forward to this mini-expansion! For the most part these cards are great!

Not bad, not good. But paired up with the Shaman or Paladin buffs and this could get REALLY scary

Pretty solid if you manage to Silas Darkmoon a Soulbound Ashtongue on your opponent and it stays there long enough for this to happen.... yeah right

It is just... meh.

3 for a 4/5? Totally worth it
