I can totally appreciate this write up. I LOATHE playing Hunter, but I want to kill off the Darkmoon Tonk quest and needed something to help. I'm hoping this will do it for me!
I think the thing I am looking most forward to would be a way to involve the Graveyard. I continually reference MTG as I played it so much, and I hope that Hearthstone will avoid some of the pitfalls that Wizards went through with their CCG.
With that in mind, when the Odyssey cycle hit, the mechanic that blew very old school gamer out of the water was the fact that they made the graveyard matter. I would love to see what they come up with for it. The idea of reanimation isn't lost because Priest has been doing it forever. But even something like a spell that says, "Discover 2 minions in your deck. Put all copies into the graveyard" would be wicked for reanimation and deck thinning.
I absolutely LOVED the dual-class cards. It brought me back to the days of playing MTG with the Invasion cycle where cards like Fire/Ice were VERY prevalent for years and years. I hope they make this a recurring theme.
looking forward to trying it. Curious though, would you ever want Tour Guide in there? It seems to go hand in hand with [Hearthstone Card (dark glare) Not Found] and with Disciplinarian Gandling on board, you'd get your 4/4, card draw, AND a mana back. Just curious.
I have tried to play this meme deck, but I keep getting bogged down by the other aggro decks. I get that it's not intended to be a tier 1 deck, it's for the lolz. Maybe it's due to the RNG, but every time I get the fist on deck, I either get immediate weapon hate against me, or I see few and far between spells and get everything else. I hope others get a chance to pull this off since it is pretty fun to drop a number of Reliquary Primes on the board for your opponent to deal with at once.
I would say that due to the number of Secret Mages running around top tier these days, that including another Eater of Secrets would be a good thing. Secret hate is key to them not running over your face.
Wouldn't you want to include another way to yank Ragnaros the Firelord out of your deck other than just Shadow Essence? To me this just seems like you only have 3 opportunities to get him out of you deck. Even though it is a substantially higher cost card, why not Blood of G'huun? That way when you rez, if he's in your deck you get another 5/5 that can be rezed as well
I am really intrigued by these builds. I've been wanting to knock out a Legend status in Wild with Priest for a while that doesn't necessarily have to use Highlander. I am looking forward to trying these out.
I said this in another post, but I figured I'd summarize it:
I just hope that they do not go in the direction of MTG back in the day and expand into multiple playing zones (e.g. Type 1, Type 1.5, Extended, Standard, Block). While for a physical card game, as long as you have the cards, you can have a plethora of decks to play. In the format where we are though being 100% online, and with a limited number of decks that you can have, doing that would really irritate me.
Regardless of what is revealed, we can count on it being a little bit of a money grab. Whether we like it or not or how they choose to market it, unless there is going to be an expanded FREE basic set of cards that doesn't rotate, it's going to be something that will cause people to spend more to get the new cards.
I have a hard time NOT liking this card
These theories both made my skin crawl and got me excited to see what will come about.
I freaking love these things! They help to break up the monotony of the things I do daily and they are super fun! Keep up the great work on these.
I'm hoping to utilize this deck to help me get the Hunter quests done.

This will help me a lot with the classes that I am definitely NOT very good at playing. Thanks for the write up on it

Shocker, I went Warlock and used Plague of Flames, Raise Dead, Wicked Whispers, Shadow Council, Defile, and Shadowflame. I've not gone past turn 6 without my opponent conceding.

I'd play that. I'd play that hard. I'd play that soooo hard.

Decks like this make me want to craft Prophet Velen
IF it's Miracle, why not include Lyra the Sunshard? Combine that with Nazmani Bloodweaver and you should be able to a lot of casting each turn right?

Not the biggest Priest player or fan... BUT, I would totally rock this hero skin. It just sings badassery

Fun deck and good to see that Elementals are viable in Standard without Frost Lich Jaina
