This deck is amazing. I didn't have Dragonbane so I replaced it with a second Misdirection. I also decided to take out Spider Bomb for a second Tracking because I figured it was just to good in a deck like this.
I got from rank 9 to rank 5 with a 83% w/r after 18 games in around only two hours. I actually didn't see a lot of shamans, the most prominent class was Hunter. I guess everybody understood that Shaman loses bad to Hunters and maybe we didn't need the nerfs after all (please nobody kill me).
I’m much more stylish than my kin, (He is much more stylish than the other night elves)
I wield that which sears the skin, (he has a sword)
the crowd cheers when I fight, (he is the crowd's favorite. plus, he will gain lots of attack so there will be cheering whenever he punches something)
my deck never took flight (I guess battlecry shaman is good, but there was never a deck where you would cycle through a ton of tiny battlecries in a similar way you would with spells for Gadgetzan Auctioneer)

Honestly, I don't think this deck represents Ebenezer Scrooge at all. This deck is about getting all of the presents, Scrooge doesn't want all of the presents, all he wants is to be left alone. Yes, Scrooge is greedy, but he is not in in the slightest bit interested in receiving charity from other people.
Sorry for nit-picking but I just finished reading the Christmas Carol (not for the first time!) and I am very interested in the story and it's characters.

I played basically the exact same deck only with slightly less removal and the demon package (Voidcaller, Voidlord, Mal'Ganis, and Bloodreaver Gul'dan). I easily won against a secret mage you had no idea what she was supposed to be doing.

This happened to me once. Also twice I had X4 copies of all of the basic cards, and once I had X6 copies of all my basic cards. Something weird is going on.

The way Corrupt the Waters is designed it is bound to be OP at one point in time. It is too easy to complete, and double battlecry can literally mean anything. Double heal, double damage, double the board, battlecries can do anything. It is just too powerful and it is too easy to put it into every shaman deck. It limits design space and there is just nothing not OP about it.
Maybe it is not the key card in the best deck right now. But then later there will be another OP shaman deck that uses the quest later. You can nerf whatever you like but the quest will continue to be played in shaman decks everywhere, and I mean everywhere until it is nerfed. Even if right now it isn't the best card, it will always be a really good card.

The main issue I have with secret mages is that you cannot run secret counter and be OK. They still have lots of burst damage and lot of cheap minions. I think the biggest reason secret mages are so powerful is that it is very easy to get both secrets and minions out at the same time with no loss of tempo.

I too think that showing the most recent decks commented on would be a better idea than showing the most recent comments. It would be better for advertising more decks.

Increasing the requirement by two wouldn't hurt the deck at all. For one, there are plenty of battlecry cards that add battlecry cards to your hand (most notably lackeys, but also any bouncers/copy to your hand minions also count), so increasing the requirement by two would only delay them by a turn or two. Plus, the deck isn't overpowered because they get the quest so early and overwhelm you with tempo (it is partly that) but most of the time they are able to win because they have so many ways to recover and continue to apply pressure throughout the entire game due to the quest reward. So pushing back the quest by only one or two turns wouldn't stop them.
Making the hero power only affect the next battlecry would be fair though. You say it would just kill them, but no, it would however stop them from getting double lackeys into double discover a spell into double two cost minion, and now they have a full board and hand just from playing a single Sludge Slurper. It wouldn't kill the quest, it would just stop shaman's from getting stupid amounts value in a single turn. You could still use the quest, but you would have to play less, bigger battlecries, instead of spamming hundreds of little ones. With this change, you could still get value from your quest, you just have to be smarter, and more conservative about it.

First off, great deck. I have played a couple of games and the deck looks super strong.
Do you think the deck could use Duplicate? There are only about five minions that you really wouldn't want to copy, and getting two extra minions without having to use Brann Bronzebeard seems like a pretty good deal. or do you think the deck already has enough ways to get extra copies and it would just be irrelevant?

I do agree that it would be nice to have an option to hide our decks
Crowd Favorite?

VERY creative storytelling.
OOOOHHHHHHHHH I just got the name. I thought it was like Dr. Egg-ons, but it is like dragons only eggs. Ok, I get it now.
Have an upvote!

Ok so is it, or is it not, a rogue card?
Um . . . We weren't talking about shamans . . .

I am going to bump this thread because there are still ads inside of posts. I don't know if it is just me or what but it is pretty annoying.

Minions like [Hearthstone Card (Cabal lackey) Not Found], Mad Scientist, Kirin Tor Mage, and Kabal Crystal Runner allow mage's to play secrets and minions at the same time, and then there is Medivh's Valet and Cloud Prince which basically allows you to run 4 copies of Fireball and Frostbolt.

Yay! improvements are always nice.
No. corrupt the waters is OP and it will get nerfed. Maybe not in this next patch, but sooner or later yes, it will get nerfed.

I agree wholeheartedly.
