I'm not saying this with a wealth of experience, but as far as I can tell Order in the Court is allowing the Paladin to get to its best cards with too much ease. The main problem is presumably because everything on the top-end has a Mana-cheat function built in, thus denying the actual 'cost' of the Paladin's highest-Cost cards. This could include:
Lightrays have been a staple of this "combo" for a while now.
As the game progresses, OitC also moves all of the lower-Cost "clutter" out of the way so the Paladin can drop value-bombs over and over again like The Countess. That consistency - combined with the Mana cheating - seems problematic.
I originally thought the Gold Panner had to draw a golden card, too, although that would be very mean to F2P people or players who burn them for the dust. Maybe he has to live long enough? I think he says something different every turn, implying he's getting closer to the gold.
True, I guess there was a more...dignified way I could have said that. Didn't mean to slight Bethesda and its workers (although they're Xbox people now, so they've lost my business :/). I was referring namely to the asshole players who were knocking BG3 as being unworthy compared to the mighty Starfield, only to watch as they were fact-checked into oblivion.
I don't think we need esports or content creators listed in The Game Awards - we're here to talk about the games, not the doofuses playing them. They could have their own awards show, about the online community or something.
Also pretty happy with the failure of Starfield to make it onto the GotY listing: there were some very smug people before its release who thought it would clean up all the awards. I take pleasure in their wrongness; Team BG3 all the way.
Which Zelda story are we doing (inb4 "they're all the same")? Will Link talk? Should he talk? Why live-action when they already did well with an animated Mario movie? Are they gonna get some Timothee Chalamet pretty boy-type person to play Link? Who's gonna play Ganondorf? Who has the necessary body type for that? "The Mountain" from Game of Thrones? Are we gonna go there with pig-Ganon?
I'm honestly terrified of this movie, and I know nothing about it yet. Kinda like the Borderlands film coming next year: a franchise I love that I'm super worried will get shat upon. Both of them could've been animated like their games and I would feel 1000% better (at least then you could use the same voice actors).
Mana Bind but in return for it being any card it has a weird condition attached. You don't want to pull a Quickdraw card because you won't benefit from said keyword (the card entered your hand too early). It just bucks against the mechanics of the expansion quite hard, which is kinda stupid.
I could see some shenanigans with the Mirage. Ambassador Faelin comes to mind, providing you Colossals to play over and over while they remain safely at the bottom of your deck.
I'm just guessing that means the stats will be divided by 2 and split between the two elementals. I don't know how this will affect battlecries and such, but I kind of hope it doesn't. I'm not sure Mage will be many elementals, so this might not see much play in the near future.
The stats and cost are split between the two halves, but the card's text remains the same. Ragnaros the Firelord would be a 4/4/4 with the 8 damage effect still intact.
Now did they mention if Catch-up packs will update dynamically with set releases and rotations? Or will there be a different "Year of..." pack, likely with the most recent one only available for sale?
They do not update: the first pack is specifically a "Showdown in the Badlands Catch-up Pack", and are a snapshot of Standard as it will be on the 14th. Presumably in the future they'll release a new Catch-up Pack that contains a different collection of sets.

[Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where discarded Barrels of Sludge would not have Lifesteal while Pop’gar the Putrid was in play.
I didn't think that was intended; nice to see it fixed. Seemed very unintuitive during the theorycrafting streams.
Not great at deck building myself, but I think that's a fun idea 🙂
You can mass-open packs of the same type, but not literally everything at once.
Horseshoe Slinger should get its own award, "Beyond Rager". It is unbelievably bad.

That's definitely the aim here, I'm thinkin'. Give the Rainbow DK more payoffs, even though what it might need is more Corpse-spenders.
