  • Great overall card, love the poison and discover effect!

I like the art of dragon too, the color combinations of this dragon's head and body is pretty cool.

  • Personally I hate this card design, it basically just says "beat me before turn 4, or you lost" to specific fast decks with cute card-draw engine.

But now my favorite legendary Mojomaster Zihi has finally some use, I'm going to be teching it in a beginning of day for sure, if the paladin class set seems to be the most powerful one. Not a good ideal counter, but will definitely make this card less effective.

  • I personally love the Cobra Shot, don't mind if it has requirement of dragon, I'll take it.

  • Discovering a legendary card? That is already amazing if you get a hit with a card that synergies well with rogue class or does good itself in stand alone.

I love the idea of this card, good meme with fun potential.

  • So glad it's just a big nerfed of old Duskbreaker. They have learned the lesson.

Nothing else I can add on it, it's still gonna be a good card, especially warlock has already decent early game removals like Defile.

  • Don't think it's quite playable compared to other new cards, but it's cheaper version of Curious Glimmerroot, so its much better and comes online faster.

I like priest's weird cards with epic tags, I will play them just for fun. Hopefully priest gets more weird cheap cards just because I love it with their new mechanics.

  • Card is pretty high up there in terms of powerlevel. But I say it's fine.

This card however, reminds me a nostalgic card Guardian of Kings. I always bring tons of healing cards back in the old days of hearthstone just to beat up mages, mages was everywhere.

Paladin definitely needs an upgrade card like this, but just having +1/+3 healbot with dragon tag doesn't seem to be threatening since the powercreep has already taken over hearthstone by the new expansion (Still, I definitely do not support powercreeps).

Does the dragon paladin ever exists? Don't think it's even good, they all have now is just a handbuff strategy. But the +3/+3 handbuffer might not be a joke anymore, because paladin is obviously going to get more dragon cards.

EDIT: The +3/+3 Handbuffer I was talking about was the Dragon Speaker. That card is actually much better than the new legendary one... feels so wrong.

  • I already think it's a top tier card, just the only downside is it has bigger health and needs to meet combo requirement, making it slower.

But the upside from being tutor card and has already a quick access to big deathrattle effects just already outweighs it. No rogue players should care about the big health since they already have so many tools to trigger its deathrattle, and can also trade with amount of small minions in the long way.

If this card is gonna be broken, then more cards like these are going to be too as well. Where are my shaman cards anyways? Bet the class set is gonna be as powerful as the new quest shaman.

  • Decent card, I think it's what Hunter needs if it's a class going for a value.

This card is like basically an opposite version of Eadric the Pure. Would like to hear a loud sound quote of Eadric or similar one onto this dragon, since it has a whole board effect and ruin your opponent's board state.

  • Seems very easy and safe spell to play it anytime because of a cheap cost, can also deal damage to enemy hero, which is a very important part of this spell.

By comparison of other dragon breaths, there are many better value cards, hence this could be outclassed by others, unless they are planning to fulfill warlock's needs with aggressive tools, because this spell can go face, and its gonna be hurt for sure.

  • Solid 1 drop mech, really love the effect of the card. Hopefully it's not going to be broken as many pre-nerfed 1-drop, but the meta will tell.

  • I'm very surprised to see a big support for the mechs in an expansion that doesn't focus about mechs, it's also one of the best neutral cards for supporting mechs (other than magnetize).

This card's effect is awesome compared to other trash neutral mechs. I don't know if it's best or not, but mechs are getting supported now. So can't wait to give it a try!

  • I have high interest in this card, mainly because of handbuff effect, just for fun. Might as well try out the legendary paladin one that does handbuff too.

I always think handbuff is simple and cool mechanic, but it’s rarely been a viable since gadgetzan expansion. This will be easily be my most favorite one. Glowstone Technician might not able to pass this in an instant value of big stats with draw engine at the same time. Val’anyr can make better value for a long term, but is weak alone by itself.

  • I really like weird cards like Octosari and this one too, they are making the cards that look weak but with a fun design to be implemented in this game. I hope they make more cards like these.

  • Before Thunderhead used to have 3/5 stat, it was playable, but with recent buff in stat to 3/6, its pretty good.

Looking at this card, the ability is really insane. It can go pure aggro style with it, and destroys a vanilla 4/5 or decent taunt minion on their own way. Although, without having 3/6 body, it feels pretty weird when comparing to Thunderhead. But I think its a very reasonable balanced card, it deserves a legendary tag, otherwise everybody will hate this card even if the ability got nerfed to 3 damage with epic tag.

Glad they are still going with mechs, especially it favors hunter the most, and I love mechs.

  • I honestly believe that more mechs should be added or be moved, The big mech supports come from boomsday project and GvG and I think very few cards could be merged into classic set, but obviously try not to add powerful one like Wargear, we can start with a cards that could help a tribe, like Clockwork Knight, this vanilla minion gives a little boost to very specific tribe and it fits very well in classic set.

If Mountain Giant sees play for many years, Clockwork Giant could have fit alright in classic set, this card does not have to do anything with GvG anyways, so it might work, but I think this is not a major topic to talk about. The major topic would be lack of Mechs in classic, the only solution I think is to extend classic cards list or make 2nd classic set, not saying it is a must.

Another main issue is that there are no classes that supports mech from the beginning of the game, so mechs are pretty pointless. And on the other hand, the mechs would make mech-based expansions less exciting.

There are also lack of elementals, but they have already their own place in classic set too, so I would like to see more mechs even just for theme, just because they are cool. And that would make new players have fun with mechs that likes robots.

  • Two meme decks (for Wild format) to show around the core cards: Dragon Soul and Surrender to Madness.

I made these decks just for fun. Because I haven't seen any deck like this, I have posted these decks. They are not really great as there are much better priest decks to play, but I hope you will atleast be amused to see what I can do the best with meme cards Dragon Soul and Surrender to Madness.

    Dragon Soul's Army

    Dragon Soul Card Image

The first deck (Dragon Soul's Army) can be abused easily with a card combo play in order: Test Subject and Radiant Elemental -> Cast Embalming Ritual on Test Subject -> Cast Topsy Turvy/Forbidden Words. Then go for an infinite to make a full board of 5/5 [Hearthstone Card (Spirit Dragon) Not Found] or have many shaman spells from Witch's Cauldron.

Unfortunately, It is a wild format so it's not a gamebreaking, as it is not infinite due to limited resources. You can add more ammo with Seance and Body Wrapper, but that's pretty much it. It also feels bad not to get Dragon Soul at time you need, so maybe replace some mid/late game minions or spells to make this deck work properly? I don't know, but you can change the deck to your liking if you feel something is wrong.

I have added a very important note in the last part of deck's guide. Please read it before you play it.

    Surrender to Mechs

    Surrender to Madness Card Image

The second deck focuses around Surrender to Madness, Surrender to Madness seems to be very hard to make it profitable for priest, but to make it work, we make it a deck based around mechs with reasonable ideas.

You first have to play Surrender to Madness on turn 6-8, if you worry about your lost mana crystals, the mechs' mana cost can be discounted by playing Galvanizer and Mechwarper. Plus, mechs love getting buffs as they can magnetize and go charge as long as the mechs are alive on the board.

It is not a good deck due to mechs being very weak in early/mid game by lack of mechs support from priest's cards. So it's really not a great deck. The reason why I made wild format is because of Jeeves for an additional card draw. There can be another problem, like if you're not able to get Surrender to Madnerss after your have deck 10 cards left...

You can change it the way you want for this deck, so use this deck as the main idea to play around with Surrender to Madness, hopefully, you can make it fun out of it!

So, as I tried them through some playtests, they are not really great than what I wanted them to be, even if they have some insane potential. In any case, you can just use those decks as a whole idea to make a good deck, but I find it hard to make it really work, so I leave it up to you! Have fun meme-ing around!

  • The first time I've seen Zephyr gave me first thought was why does he have red color scheme around him? Like his orbs and his eyes color... After I saw your post, it started to make real sense now. It could be a coincidence, but it makes sense that Blizzard would choose it as a color theme of highlanders (Even Reno wasn't part of Kazakus).

Now I won't be confused forever when I see Zephyr with the awful color choice again, thanks a lot OP!

  • Actually, it's the card from the adventure called One Night in Karazhan, 3 mana 4/3 minion that makes you Immune during your turn.

You're thinking of a Violet Teacher. Some name of cards are very similar and can get easily be confused with another one when certain cards don't see much play.

So you want to take a second look by searching it up before you see someone talking strange thing, like Violet Teacher in Bomb quest warrior.

  • I played it, warrior is lacking too much survival. It is taking lots of damage through using weapon.

Violet Illusionist could have a spot in the deck. But it is only available in wild, and definitely not an easy mode.
