Well you haven't been playing the ladder either, because we only have two good aggressive decks right now (Pirate Aggro and Scouts) the rest of the meta is dominated by control (Mono Veigo, Feel the Rush, Caitlyn/Ezreal, Jayce Heimer) and combo/midrange ( Taliyah/Ziggs, Aphelios/Fizz, Pantheon/Yumi, Mono Shurima)
Every expansion we get aggressive, high value, high tempo units and 0 control cards that are good.
Shurima did introduce a great board wipe in Blighted Ravine, Bandle did come with lot's good ping cards like Pokey Stick and Minimorph which pretty much kicked Lee Sin out of the meta.
The tentacles are not ephemeral so theoretically they should get bigger as long as you play more spawn cards. They are also 1 cost and Bilgwater have some cards centered around buffing 1 cost unit like Jagged Taskmaster and Reaver's Row.
Giving how most of the community thought that Blade Dance and Recall were underwhelming on reveal, you are right to wait for the whole package before making up your mind.
interesting card, it allows you to both stall and advance the countdown of your landmark, the problem is it first effect is situational giving -2 to everything is good against deck that like to go wide like scouts, but pretty useless against the ones that like to kill you with a couple of big unit's like Fated and Veigo decks.
Plunder support can potentially be a nice additional finisher or it might end up being to clunky to include, either way I don't see plunder decks coming back to the meta unless they revert the nerf to Monster Harpoon.
If Calculated Creations a card that give good unit's with +1/+1 buff, don't see play then this definitely won't and to add insult to injury those cards are fleeting I understand that every card is meant to be competition but this shouldn't even be played in meme decks.
This effect is very weak for it's price. Sure you can turn your Braum or Soraka into a 6/6 but outside of getting a good trade that won't accomplish much. The only good target for this that I can think of is Battering Ram and that is super greedy 12 mana combo that easily is countered by one single Vengeance
Looks ok to me, 6 mana is a huge tempo loss and a death sentence against most decks that aren't control.
Only surprise here is seeing Gangplank/Sejuani.

I always loved Bard in league, very unique champion.
They chose to go the hand buff route his for design in Runeterra. Hopefully he doesn't end being another elusive degeneracy enabler.

Ilaoi looks great but I still don't know what to make of this archetype yet. It doesn't help that the Spawn card range from good to atrocious.

I don't like having more keywords either but I don't see Ilaoi as a deep card.
Ionia already have better recall cards. This is just pack filler.

A Vanguard Bannerman that don't require allegiance, a nice card for Elites or Bandle Swarm deck.
