Anyone actually get any drops? I saw the event notification on his channel and left the stream on for the whole weekend, got no notification in the drops & inventory section on twitch
I am not sure which Twitch channel you "watched", but as I understood from Old Guardian you were supposed to watch one of the 4 casters streams. Since English was my preferred language to listen for, I put on FenoHS's Twitch channel and got my 4 Standard packs (aka 160 arcane dust) after "watching" for 8 hours in total over 2 days.
Sidenote: The Twitch drops page keeps telling me that I have to connect my Battle.net account, but luckily for me I do get the drops because the accounts are connected.
Before the lifeboats get full, I just wanted to say that this site is unique because:
The other sites don't have easy 5-star rating systems for each card and when they DO, it's slow as shit.
Also the site runs smooth in general.
Except for the first 10-15 seconds of every page/section load. Which everyone seems to avoid talking about for whatever reason.
Other than that, yea, it's awesome.
The only thing that doesn't load instantly - at least for me- are the adds. How's your internet connection?
It's very good. Also, it's not that it doesn't load instantly. There's a hugely delayed response (and wrong too) on almost any action you do during those first 15 seconds (e.g. clicking a link opens up something else, and after 10 seconds). There are posts in the site feedback forums, by me and other people, regarding this. No responses, no acknowledgements, nothing. It's like this issue is invisible and we are morons talking to the wind.
I also had these same experiences with a decent internet connection on multiple devices. The issue was like "Voldemort", one does not speak his name 🤭 I have to agree with anchorm4n, today the lagging does seem to be gone, but I still have some reservations. I will check back in after a few more days.
Well, this has to be the saddest Hearthstone related news I have seen this year, so far. Though not entirely unexpected as some of us were wondering what the heck was going on, it was still heavy news to read when the announcement of the announcement dropped.
I sincerely hope that the OoC community (members and experience) is kept alive in whatever shape or form, because I have had a blast since arriving on this wonderful site from the very start and I think it would be a terrible shame if this would disappear altogether.
From a glass half empty POV, consider them plagiarizing your ideas without giving you any credit. Anyways, kudos to you for finally seeing some of your ideas becoming reality which we all get to enjoy and play with soon™.
I haven't given Boss Rush any serious tries yet, partly because I wanted to max my new Undead gang first, and partly because it feels like I'd really have to focus on one comp.
Same here, I am also maxing out my Undead mercenaries first. Just nine more upgrades left, using renown trades only. Afterwards, I hope Old Guardian has figured out the best comp for completing the entire boss rush mode which I will gladly pilot to complete the related achievements with.

I concur, the new Warrior achievement is definitely the worst indeed. I was using this Warrior deck and it took me at least 25 games to complete the achievement.
By the way, it seems the achievement is programmed to accept batches of three as an progression step which means a single Training Session allows multiple ticks towards achievement completion. You have to play To the Front! twice and have enough board space though.

EDIT: The Training Session bug which previously worked in our favor now no longer does, unfortunately.
I didn´t really move with Mercs, but since the mode is dying, I guess I just get the last bunch of mercenaries with my free packs and try the new Boss mode.
Yeah, we can just open all previously hoarded Mercenaries packs as a big "unboxing" party since there is no longer need for them in the future. I should have a reasonable chance to "catch" all six new Mercenaries (1 legendary, 4 epics and 1 rare) by opening my last 55 packs. After completing all 18 tasks per new Mercenary, we can open those 18 rewarded packs (in total) as well to collect free portraits. Using renown we can slowly but surely max out these six last Mercenaries which will take quite some time, but I see no reason to speed up this process by doing their bounties over and over again.
Furthermore, I suppose they do not plan to remove the XP completely from this game mode, but I can imagine them downgrading the amount received which makes "farming" this game mode for XP far less appealing.
EDIT: All Mercenaries have been collected. Game over! 🤡
I just passed level 300 and the end of the rewards track is looming ahead.
I also became legend in Classic for the very first and last time, because I just wanted to complete the Back In My Day achievement. This mode is infested with dumb bots and my Control Warrior farmed them all easily to legend.
My Death Knight wins progress is at 440 wins, inching slowly but steadily towards the golden hero portrait and beyond.
Today is Valentine's Day, but even more importantly also the launch day of the Return To Naxxramas mini-set. Hopefully, the new cards will be able to improve the current stale meta.
Now imagine this minion getting support through other means than just Wildheart Guff at this moment after the rotation hits in the new Standard year and your blood will likely start to boil instantly.
Whatever happened to their intentions of printing fewer cards with Charge? This is not even a legendary which means Druid can run two of these in a deck. I can already feel the huge frustation of losing to this minion suddenly out of nowhere.
My first ever and only single time becoming Legend in Classic. The goal was just to complete the Back In My Day ranked game mode achievement.
The climb was very straightforward because the ladder is infested with dumb bots which are easily farmed with this deck. I only encountered a handful of real players on the way to legend which in total took about 88 games.
Yeah, I just created a new support ticket for this. I had contacted them in the past and got mixed feelings/results. It strongly depends on which Game Master picks up your ticket.

Infinite wait times in the Battle.net shop. I guess Activision Blizzard does NOT want my money (for the Tavern Pass) after all?
Purchases are possible via the Mobile app, but that would use my own currency instead which is a disadvantage for me.

@Fluxflashor, You will receive 2 packs after watching a total of 2 hours, not 3 hours. The first pack has to be claimed inbetween though.
My drop timer is already at 80% for the second pack at this moment, so only 20 minutes left to kill the theorycrafting stream, lol 😋

I agree Hearthstone content is nowadays posted fewer and farther between compared than before indeed.
By the way, why did Avalon leave OoC? Does anybody know? I will miss his achievements guides and other things.
