I reached legend again before the upcoming 100% certain nerf to Deck of Lunacy. This deck is very easy to pilot, but not as overpowered as the community might want to convince you. Please do not believe the hype. It is losing to the potential high roll that warrants the nerf.
Control Warlock, Secret Paladin and Weapon Rogue will often beat this deck. As a matter of fact, I have not won a single game against Control Warlock this season. The 11-star bonus is what made it an easy climb to legend really.
Let us see what the meta will shape into after the first round of nerfs.
Watch any Hearthstone channel on Twitch between April 2 at 9:00 a.m. PT and April 4 at 8:00 p.m. PT for 2 hours to earn 1 Forged in the Barrens card pack! Watch for 2 more hours and you’ll receive another one! Twitch has updated how drops work on their end, and this is Hearthstone’s first time utilizing Twitch Drops since these changes were put into place. Here is what you need to know:
You’ll now be able to see your watch time progress towards any given drop.
You will no longer receive drop rewards automatically. You must instead claim the drop on the channel you’re watching or in the Drops Inventory menu on Twitch within the first 24 hours of earning it.
You will need to claim your first Twitch Drop reward BEFORE you can earn progress towards a second.
Twitch users can now earn rewards before linking their Battle.net account to Twitch. Rewards will expire 7 days after they’ve been claimed if a Battle.net account has not been linked.
I am pretty sure Flux or another staff member will post this on the front page as an article. No worries, the Twitch drops have not started yet (still 5 more hours of waiting).

I hope I will be able to confirm it myself tomorrow as well. My weeklies did not pair up well to make the attempt today, so I had to reroll 1 before completing the 'win 5 ranked' weekly quest.
Seems indeed like it was not done on purpose and it will most probably fixed soon. I would not mind to abuse it at least once though, before it goes away.

After opening 250 packs (which lucky me resulted in a full expansion collected), I quickly jumpstarted to level 30 with 2 weekly and 1 daily quest still left to collect.
My first goal will be to reach level 70 in order to obtain the 20% XP boost as quickly as possible. Afterwards, I should adjust my daily playtime to a much more comfortable level unlike last time.

With my limited knowledge, I can only imagine that such a glitch might have something to do with performance or synchronizing data (web farms, load balancing, etcetera), but I also wonder what the real cause is.
To Flux or any moderator that might know this; is my observation correct that thread post edits are somehow not immediately updated? I tend to make a lot of edits to my posts to get to the final version and since there is no preview feature I have to check these live. Starting today, I noticed that my edits are not occurring immediately anymore. Sometimes not even after a few page refreshes. When I press the edit button, I always do see my latest change though (in edit mode). By the way, I doubt this is a browser specific related issue.
Since I started this thread back in November 2020, I have a few housekeeping questions about its future:
1) Did you like the information and/or dialogues in this thread?
2) Do we want to continue this for the next rewards track and if so should a new thread be created instead of keeping this one alive?
Personally, I really enjoyed this thread and received some useful info/tips from my fellow HS players which helped me along my climb of the rewards track. So I would very much like for this thread to be repeated for the upcoming rewards track. Also, to have it more partitioned, a separate thread per rewards track sounds more logical to me.
I have stopped doing my weeklies and dailies to leave up the maximum amount of available quests for the next Rewards track. I have multiple challenge friend quests lined up which will quickly jumpstart my XP progress. I somehow completed several new XP achievements but I did not collect the XP yet. It has been really hard to not click on them because I have the obsessive compulsive urge to want to get rid of that annoying red exclamation mark as soon as possible.
I will absolutely buy the Tavern Pass again because of all the new cosmetics and the XP boost.
And lastly, I am not going to repeat my end level for the current Rewards track anymore -> level 350 😆
Now this is the kind of advice the world can use a lot more of in general. Thank you again for sending your much appreciated positive energy my way. I will kindly return the favor whenever the opportunity arises.
The boost XP is not gained retroactively it seems. I just read this in a few posts on other forums from other HS players stating that from their own personal experience. It does not mean that getting to level 70 by any means necessary can be more profitable though.

I think it will be a maximum of 2 packs for the whole weekend though, but I would very much prefer your train of thought to become reality instead 😍

Thanks for the hint, Almaniarra. Apparently, I was thinking about divine shields instead of armor.
This means the hidden achievement is still enabled, I just unlocked it.

Hi, can any moderator please tell me whether this hidden Drop the Shields achievement is enabled or perhaps bugged?
I am pretty sure it is unlockable similar to the other hidden Patched the Pirate achievement I completed earlier today.
