I agree, that deck can become insanely survivable (though I recall seeing something about a Druid with 2500 armor being defeated?). I did not include for one reason: I don't look at other decks. My deck creation process (for these articles) is as follows:
1. Choose theme
2. Create deck around theme with whatever I find in my collection
3. Refine, refine, refine
I don't like looking at other decks, even if they might be better in some regards, and prefer to figure it out on my own. If I don't get to be creative, then it's boring :(
I initially ran it with two hands of dead men, but overall I ended up seeing I didn't need to shuffle twice. It is definitely a good addition if you want to, though!
You'd be surprised! His stats and potential for high health with certain buffs make him more useful than he looks; at best, he'll take a few minions with him when he goes down, and at worst he'll eat a removal and clear the space for stronger minions.
I thought of Shadowreaper Anduin, but ultimately decided to not include him for two reasons:
Dragons are decently mid-high cost, so triggering the repeatable Hero Power would not happen as often as I would like for it to pay off
The card itself is rather high-cost, so it would limit the amount of other plays one could do in the same turn
I instead opted for two Shadowforms as their cost is lower, they can upgrade to three damage, and you can swap to it twice in one game! Makes for a much more versatile experience knowing you can Shadowform in a tight spot, hit Sir Finley and drop some Armor on Anduin, and still have the option to switch to Shadowform later in the game, when you're in a safer position.
That said, I'm sure the Shadowreaper would still be a decent addition! If you don't have two Shadowforms, swap one out with the hero card!
Wild is set to reach a breaking point soon (next 1-2 years probably) where there are so many cards it will be impossible to compete unless you've been playing since like 2015. I hope they find a good solution.
Mike please make quests give you a random Wild pack for all eternity.

Mistake! The "Reno Mage" tag was right next to the "Quest Mage" tag. Fixed, thanks for pointing it out!
I'm a different Noxious!
Every single week, even if it's sometimes painful.
Got 5 over three days. There's not many to go around, but they exist!
I love it. Seems we always get extra board when the League of Explorers comes around!
Glad to hear that Majordomo managed to work for once! And thanks for reading and participating in the discussion!
Yeah, Wild is becoming very unsustainable, and will only become more so as Hearthstone ages :(
Hearthstone Team, if you're reading this, please make it easy for new players to play Wild!
Really curious how Saraad fared in Paladin! And thank you for the theme submission, had a lot of fun with it!

Not in my collection until yesterday! He'll show up from now on! I can only work with what I have :(
Let me know which one worked out best for you!

Thanks! There's more! An article every Friday! If you have any suggestions for next week's theme, throw another comment down!

Thanks! Hit me up if you have any suggestions for next week!
Gentle? Have you seen those eyes?
Might make it to rank 18!
True, Wild is way more of a meme than Standard for this deck.
