    Knight of the Wild?

From the forests of the wild, (he is called knight of the wild)

I care not for the trees, (Knights don't protect trees)

But I feel like a child,

Around the beetles and bees. (if you play enough beasts he costs 0. I guess "like a child" could imply a small mana cost?)

Spot on, and you even got the child reference. Your turn!

  • From the forests of the wild,

I care not for the trees,

But I feel like a child,

    Around the beetles and bees.

  • Warsong Commander

It was nerfed twice (once reducing what it gave charge to, then to it's god awful current effect. It's drunkards were Grim Patrons, and now it has no synergy with anything, because Raid Leader is just better, even with a charge centric deck.

  • Calling it now, this is a nerf candidate. Several classes can abuse it in both standard and wild, and just shut down their opponents deck, because they'll draw nothing but birds. Hunter (Dire Frenzy, Beast copys and various DR triggers), Priest (so many DR shenanigans), and Rogue (Shadows of Death and DR triggers) can all fill the opponents deck quickly.

It might not be good, but it will cause unhappy players, which will lead to an eventually nerf.

  • Oh god. Weasel Priest 2: The Flappening.

  • Quote From DestroyerR

    You got it, your turn.

  • Quote From kkiiuu

Nope, but you're on the right track.

  • The hordes they grow, and so do I,

The scourge is rising, you can't deny,

The lord of death craves your demise,

From the city below I shall rise.

  • Straight forwards leads my path could suggest a charge or rush minion, something to watch out for could be high burst potential or an otk, and an infernal shout could indicate a demon with a battlecry, or a negative battlecry, or both.

    Is is Doomguard?

  • Ok, so the undying could refer to within a game, rather than within standard, and something that could survive a thousand blows...

    Is it Anub'arak?

  • So, it was meant to be powerful and live forever, with infernal implying demonic power. However, it turned out to be weak and not good enough, but may be better at some point in the future.

    Maybe Lord Jaraxxus?

  • The Black Knight? Fits the first verse, but not sure about the second

  • The only way this sees constructed play is if decks that rely on certain rez effects become dominant. Apart from the obvious priest, this has (albeit) limited potential to disrupt/limit N'Zoth, Gul'dan, Witching Hour, Kangor's Endless Army etc.

I can't imagine this happening, and there's more reliable techs against most single cards, but it's worth noting.

  • Next up:

Give me a warrior card with a battlecry.

  • While there has been a few individual threads about single runs, or bosses, we haven't got a general "look at my awesome run", and I feel like it would be fun. So post them here!

    I'll start:

I was out to complete Chapter 2 (standard) with Reno after completing it with Finley, and also try out Lei Flamepaw at the same time. I ended up with this:

I've never used the Discs of Legend treasure before, but this time round I got 2, as well as getting Lei Flamepaw in my opening hand. This meant nearly every boss before the Plague Lord got burnt down by Eviscerate/Razorpetal spam (aided by the spell damage HP) by turn 5. Against the Plague Lord, All 3 Lei's died quickly enough, barely managing to take down the first 100 health, so I managed to tread water for a little while until I managed to draw Malygos. After that, I managed to finish the Plague Lord off from 120 health in one turn using Forgotten Torch/Razorpetal. Turns out getting 3 legendaries for every one played in preeetty good. Even if you don't manage to get that many legendaries in your deck.

So lets see the fun you've had in the tomb!

  • I shot to rank 5 pretty quickly with a budget token Druid with a Beast twist (See here https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/7553-budget-tokenaggro-druid , look, upvote, give me presents! I'll write a guide eventually). I'm currently Rank 4, and climbing, albeit slowly. What I've found so far:

    1) Secret Mage is strong, but definitely skill dependent. Some matches I dominate, some matches I lose hard, and I feel a basic level of skill in the mage player is the deciding factor. I don't think Flame Ward is the biggest concern, but printing Arcane Flakmage and Ancient Mysteries in the same set was a mistake. I'm managing a slightly over 50% win rate against them, but it's always a tough game.

    2) Reno decks, especially Reno Mage have gained a lot, as well as fitting in well as a counter to Secret Mage.

    3) Weapon tech is back on the menu. A lot of Reno decks I've played in the last few days has been running an Ooze.

    4) There's not a huge amount of board clears being run at the moment, so I'm anticipating decks like Even Shaman and Odd Paladin to make a comeback. The main board clears I've seen have been Arcane Flakmage, Flame Ward and stuff generated by Kazakus/Zephyrs. This is helped by a lack of Warrior and Priest.

    5) Quest Druid seems to have fallen off hard.

  • I've removed the mulligan guide, and will update in a bit. I somehow didn't save the last round of changes, swapping Grimestreet Enforcers with Arena Fanatics, which explains that error.

I would expect Keleseth would break the draws, as I remember playing a Renounce lock at one point who managed to end up with a Spirit of the Frog, and that drew spells at their renounce discounted costs. I would imagine it would work the same, but I could test it. However, I can't think of a decent replacement for Sandwasp Queen that would fit nicely into the curve. Any suggestions?
