Maybe is some kind of hint, because Ethereals use some void magic and second year of the phoenix expansion looks like a void one for his people/black core.

There is a lot of deathrattle, including Teron Gorefiend and prime minions, so I think developers want the deathrattle to activate on a large percentage, because it seems those effects are vey important on this (and future) expansions.

In addition to battlegrounds, on 2019 I really loved the narrative of the year of the Dragon, love the evil and explorers leagues clash back and forth, love the cinematics too.
I hope the new rotation set Whizbang into the classic set and a whole year narrative again, maybe using more heavy wow lore characters as Saurfang

If you manage to have Aldrachi Warblades equiped with some Kael'thas Sunstrider and making a combo with Twin Slice or Blur, the healing amount is insane, this spell is just a win condition by itself.
Kael'thas Sunstrider + Sorcerer's Apprentice + four 1 mana spell + 2 Pyroblast
20+ face damage on turn 8.
