Oh wow, that's 4,800 dust for me just from the legendaries. As long as Wildheart Guff and discover-from-your-deck cards are in Standard, the Anub'Rekhan nerf won't matter too much because Druid can reach 11 mana pretty quickly. The Obliterate buff would be broken if the card belonged to other certain classes. I was hoping to get my Big Shaman deck out of meme status, but alas, buffed Obliterate has obliterated my dreams.

My wild Thief Priest deck will enjoy this card very much. Although the archetype isn't the most competitive, i find it quite fun and challenging to beat your opponent with their own deck.

It's unlikely, but maybe an infinite deathrattle? Like a minion that turns into a weapon when it dies, and a weapon that turns back into the minion when it's used up.

Neptulon's "limbs attack for you" concept could be interesting. A card that summons a minion and equips a weapon. When you hit with the weapon, the minion attacks instead.

I'm very happy about the Ping Mage buffs; I've been trying to make Magister Dawngrasp work, and Frost Lich Jaina is one of my favorite cards. I don't know why I expected Tamsin's Phylactery to also be the nerf victim for Owl Warlock, but I'm a little glad it wasn't, as it's been fun trying to find other nutty Deathrattle shenanigans to pull off.

Really good card. It fills out the Demon slot for some N'zoth decks

As someone who enjoys making meme decks, this will slot nicely into a very slow, and greedy Hakkar deck

This would be amazing in Wild with all the Reborn and summoning extra copies shenanigans Priest has. Thief Priest (and Burgle Rogue) are my favorite archetypes to play, so I'm definitely excited to experiment with this card.

This is going to be so infuriating to play against. But think of all the Wild meme decks you could play with all these deck disruption cards.

Mecha'thun Warlock. This card is essentially a Russian roulette of either "draw" 3 cards without self-damaging or burning your combo pieces.

This card + Neeru Fireblade for a Hakkar Warlock deck that goes to fatigue.

Or ThanosLock with this card, Tickatus, and the infamous Void Contract.

What an interesting Secret Pally mechanic. Most of the board clears left in the Standard pool deal 2 damage so at least the tokens have a bit of survivability (unless you're up against Mage, Shaman, a Spell Damage deck, or a C'thun deck). The token sidequest from Uldum would have been great with this card as a way to buff up the tokens, seeing as Pally currently does not have a board-wide buff card that isn't Silver Hand Recruit or 1-drop minion-centric. Since the secrets become deathrattles, I wonder if you're able to steal the secrets via Soul Mirror.

Beast Druid, Spell Druid, or a combination of both are frustrating to play against.  Lightning Bloom is disgustingly strong in Druid.

I usually play Rogue, but I got Turalyon, the Tenured in a pack and have been playing Big/Duel Paladin since. It's 50/50 so far, but really fun to play. I tried tinkering with Spell Damage Shaman using Lady Vashj, Lightning Bloom, Diligent Notetaker, etc. to make a OTK combo, but haven't successfully pulled off one yet.

Spell Mage seems to be good against some variants of Demon Hunter because of Mage's access to Freeze cards which helps stall the game until you can take them down with burn spells. However, Spell Mage isn't good against a lot of decks, including Face Hunter which is too fast for Mage, a class with no healing.

Maybe you can try a Priest deck. You'd have healing, removal, and constant barrage of taunts.

Very insightful recap! I've been waiting for this as I've been fooling around with a lot of decks and didn't know which one to use for laddering haha.

Spell Mage has potential, but is very dependent on its freeze cards i think. You either stall the game long enough to unleash a plethora of burn spells or get rushed down by an early wave of minions. I have to say though, it's quite satisfying freezing Demon Hunters every turn.

Maybe a spell-heavy, but not pure spell deck as others have suggested, is the way to go. With the many 1 and 2 mana spells in Mage's arsenal along with Incanter's Flow, you could activate Chenvaala more frequently, or even mess with Questing Adventurer.

I mean, you can play this with Ironbark to get a 13/16 Taunt on board, but that wouldn't do much either with the amount of single target removals and high attack rush minions being introduced

Such a situational RNG card. This is either Siphon Soul without lifesteal or Twisting Nether that leaves a body on board

Giving a minion extra stats and taunt in the late game for 0 mana is absolutely going to see play. However, there isn't a clear archetype this would slot into currently. Maybe a Dragon deck would want to use this although majority of the dragons used in Druid are the evasive ones.

Also, the 7 mana bonus reminds me of a similar mechanic in The Elder Scrolls: Legends

Seems like Pure Paladin support. Although I can see this being used for Control Paladin; getting multiple copies of Lightforged Blessing or even Subdue, if you target your own minions, would be great in the late game. It wouldn't be too bad either to get more copies of Blessing of Kings or Pharaoh's Blessing if you're playing Buff Paladin.

What a time to be a rogue main. I see this as more of a win-more card for Galakrond decks, or a way to ensure that your board has something on it. Rogue can draw through their cards quite fast so getting to that Primal wouldn't take too long.

Similar to the card that won last week's Card Design Competition!

The card might be too slow to be viable, however it can produce massive swing turns in the late game with mid-cost minions.
