A very powerful effect to be sure, but I think Professor Slate will only go into decks that already run cheap damaging spells. Face Hunter already does this, and they like efficiently stated minions that help them maintain control of the board like Dwarven Sharpshooter. The issue with using Professor Slate outside of Face Hunter is that you have to cut cards to include a few cheap damaging spells that are mediocre without having the one-of build-around card to play them with, so they'll be mediocre more times than they are that poisonous removal.

[Hearthstone Card (Professor Turalyon) Not Found] does seem underwhelming initially when you pay the 8 mana for him; however, this card is pretty strong with Duel! as you get to attack with him twice if you pull it with Duel! based on how Rush works with the spell. This plus First Day of School to help shore up the early game so as not to break your Duel! might allow Big Paladin to be viable in standard. We will just have to wait and see.
Also, [Hearthstone Card (Professor Turalyon) Not Found] doesn't exactly have Poisonous as 1) he doesn't die when attacking 12 Attack targets like Deathwing and 2) if he is attacked by a minion with more than 3 Health on the opponent's turn, that minion's stats won't change.

This looks like a better designed Prince Keleseth to me. While Lorekeeper Polkelt requires more deck alterations to take advantage of the battlecry than Doctor 2, draw consistency is very powerful. Here are a couple of use cases off the top of my head:

This card is pretty representative of my gripes with the standard meta since Descent of Dragons: control decks get new fair cards while tempo decks get new unfair cards, making the meta largely tempo vs tempo with fewer and fewer control decks being able to compete with them without having the perfect answers.
Glide is a great card, but such a bad design similar to that of Divine Favor. It punishes control, which is a core strategy and not a specific archetype like how Bad Luck Albatross can delay Highlander decks. The main way control wins against tempo is by choosing when to use removal tools in the early game so that you can still have cards in hand by the time that the tempo opponent runs out of cards so you have more immediate resources to generate counter pressure. Glide just says screw this by giving them a reload while making the control player less likely to answer that reload as control runs very limited card draw that limits their ability to increase their hand size post-shuffle. And, to top it all off, it isn't even a dead card against a tempo mirror as you just set it up so you don't play it with outcast.
Based on these points, I think this will become a staple in Tempo DH and could possibly disincentivize control play at a time where control isn't even that popular. While I am hyperbolizing my statements a bit, I am not overstating when I say that I hate this card existing in the game.

I always enjoy looking at these decks each week for inspiration for my Wild climb. I've been having a lot of fun and climbing success with this Pure Secret Paladin recently and I thought I'd share it for anyone who is interested:

Oh, I get Clue 8 now! Pretty clever once you know how all three connect to the answer. Hopefully this is subtle enough just to give anyone who is stumped a nudge in the right direction:
Show Spoiler
There's a lot more flavor in the clue than I initially realized.

So, I happened to find the answer to Clue 8, but by accident when looking for another clue's answer. I can't really see the connection between the three cards to the answer.

-Quest Warlock can more consistently discount Malygos or Alexstrasza.
-Totem Shaman already runs a low curve that caps at 5. With the new addition of Totem Goliath, playing Lorekeeper Polkelt on 4 will always draw you Totem Goliath the following turn if you don't run Bloodlust. Then you can draw cards to support Totem Goliath in the following turns, whether its Splitting Axe or Vessina.
You shoe-ldn't have spoke too soon! I'll see myself out.

THEY FLY NOW!
I play NA and am hovering around rank 2000 Legend, so it probably was not me. What a weird coincidence with the exact same list!

Here's a little hint to nudge you in the right direction, hope it isn't too ambiguous:

Hi, is it possible to have my name changed to Sparkinarius to match my battle tag?
A great tempo driven secret for the still decent secret package.
4 mana deal 5 to a minion and trigger a deathrattle is insane tempo.
Synergizes and curves perfectly with Scavenger's Ingenuity, Mok'Nathal Lion, and Houndmaster.
Very slow to only deal 3 damage for 4 mana in a tempo driven class.
Very scary potential burst to tech into highlander against slower matchups.
Most hunters nowadays don't hang onto 3 big beasts for the late game without Master's Call.
Synergizes really well with being anon curve play with Scavenger's Ingenuity and Mok'Nathal Lion.
Wrath scales better than this both early and late game as it's 1 mana cheaper and a card draw in the late game.
