Historically, Token Druid is the Druid archetype that cares about buffing its minions, and with cheap nature spells like [card]Innervate[/card], [card]Lightning Bloom[/card], and maybe [card]Nature Studies[/card](?), [card]Guff Runetotem[/card] can be a great way to follow up a token board in the loss of [card]Savage Roar[/card]. You only really need two nature spells to get more than enough stats for Guff's …
I don't know if [card]Paralytic Poison[/card] sees play in Weapon or [card]Kingsbane[/card] Rogue (in Wild) as we know them today. Both decks have been hyper-tuned to pump out as much face damage and want to swing face with their weapon. In these decks, the Rogue doesn't really care about taking face damage if they have to trade, since they are …
Considering how this is almost like a better [card]Flanking Strike[/card] for Paladin and that all of the Libram spells will be of the Holy school, I don't know how [card]Cariel Roame[/card] doesn't see play in the already efficient Libram Paladin.
This doesn't feel impactful enough for its mana cost. Sure, SHR and Secret Paladins need ways to follow up their wide boards, but I don't think they will be willing to bend so far backwards for a four mana [card]Mark of the Lotus[/card]. Also, this competes with the other more immediate and efficient four-cost plays that Paladin is known for. …
I see this as sort of a replacement for [card]Ray of Frost[/card], but cheaper at the cost of being able to choose what to freeze. That being said, [card]Ray of Frost[/card] is a pretty favorable comparison considering how prevalent the card was during its standard rotation. I think it is important to keep in mind that [card]Flurry (Rank 1)[/card] is …
A four mana [card]Frost Nova[/card] with a body and synergizes with [card]Flurry (Rank 1)[/card] for a cheap former [card]Flamestrike[/card] level of removal. Needless to say, the AoE freeze is a proven effect in Mage, so I definitely see this being competitive across multiple Mage decks, and even possibly so in more aggressive Mages thanks to the efficient body on [card]Varden …
This is essentially a [card]Violet Teacher[/card] but for half the cost and the tokens have rush. While Hunter doesn't have the wide board buffing potential to take advantage multiple tokens, the class does have beast synergies that work well with this like [card]Scavenging Hyena[/card]. A Spell Hunter archetype seems to be forming with this, [card]Barak Kodobane[/card], and the return of …
This is just a better [card]Khartut Defender[/card] for Priest. Granted, there won't be any resurrect synergy, which was the main way Khartut saw play in Priest. This makes me curious if [card]Lightshower Elemental[/card] will see play in a more straight up Control Priest, but it may be just more efficient than Khartut to do so.
First application that comes to mind is Druid as they have [card]Survival of the Fittest[/card] and [card]Cenarion Ward[/card] that are central to Druid's gameplan (the former) and survivability (the latter). They also have [card]Overgrowth[/card] and [card]Lightning Bloom[/card] to get this out ahead of schedule. I could also see this in Libram Paladin to draw [card]Libram of Hope[/card] since the deck …
I think that [card]No fin Can Stop Us[/card] is a great follow up and pressure tool for Murloc Shaman decks. However, my question is: is there enough efficient murlocs left in the core set with the loss of [card]Murloc Warleader[/card]? We'll have to see what murlocs are released for Shaman this expansion, but I think this card seeing play is …
I think [card]Yoink![/card] has too minor of an effect for it to ever be run straight up in a competitive deck. You get two free basic hero powers, which usually add up to one mana worth of value when compared to their upgraded counterparts, so you're paying one mana for one mana's worth of value. Not only that, but you …
Mor'shan Elite looks like a nice defensive tool for a Control Warrior. It compares favorably with Barricade as, for one more mana, you get two four-health bodies that trade better. This also an on-curve follow up to Sword Eater or Reaper's Scythe. This also doesn't have the empty board restriction of Barricade. I think this makes a lot …

I realized I missed the news on [card]Stonetusk Boar[/card], so thank you for pointing that out! I also forgot about [card]Captain's Parrot[/card], but I still like [card]Southsea Deckhand[/card] as [card]Bloodsail Flybooter[/card] matters less post [card]Crystal Core[/card] and having multiple chargers can allow for earlier finishing turns with [card]Daring Escape[/card]. Still, thanks for the input!
I don't think a one mana discount on what is effectively a [card]Radiance[/card] effect will warrant running [card]Desperate Prayer[/card] as it is still too low impact on its own. Thst being said, [card]Gadgetzan Auctioneer[/card] is sticking around in the core set, so maybe there is a miracle combo deck that wants to run 0-mana spells and Auctioneer like with the …
Sadly, [card]Stonetusk Boar[/card] has been banished to the Rush dimension (as well as [card]Bluegill Warrior[/card]). :(
EDIT: I missed the news on both Boar and Bluegill retaining charge and going to Wild. I'll have to find a way to include Boar now since 1 mana 5/5 charge is pretty good.
[card]Imp Swarm (Rank 1)[/card] looks inefficient in most of its potential uses. Cards that care about stats that see play today are run to be played on curve, and this is just a worse Cult Neophyte on turn two. By turns five and ten, the 3/2 bodies are way less likely to have an impact even if when summoning 2-3 …
With the amount of burst being removed from the core set, I could see 3 "inevitable" face damage being highly valued in the post-rotation meta. That being said, [card]Mankrik[/card] doesn't make sense in decks that don't have a lot of efficient card draw as you risk [card]Mankrik[/card] being just a 3/4 more often than not. Because of this, I see …
I imagine seeing [card]Blademaster Samuro[/card] in Libram Paladin as a replacement for lists that run [card]Wild Pyromancer[/card] (which won't be in the core set) and for being a decent board clear on its own with multiple [card]Libram of Wisdom[/card]s. I have a tough time seeing this in any other class without seeing more of the expansion cards as no other …
Regis did an initial reveal stream for Rastakhan's Rumble and Kibler did the final reveal stream back when they did two reveal streams per expansion. That was the stream where [card]Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk[/card] was revealed for all I remember of it.
