This card is weird for a couple of reasons. First, I don't think you'd want to run this until Guardian Animals rotates out as that is a more consistently powerful way to cheat out beasts. Second, I don't know if the discount is all that substantial with the current pool of beasts available to Druid. If there was a good beast that costs in the range of 8-10, then the second rank of this spell may have an effective application for its discount, but right now the best application is for discounting Druid of the Plains to six mana even though Druids have other efficient ways to potentially play that beast more than a turn early.

The main issue with Sunwell Initiate is that an initial one mana discount on Silvermoon Guardian is worth triggering the frenzy effect. Also, I just don't see how this synergizes with any class except Paladin, and they already have Goody Two-Shields.

There's some meme potential with this in a Celestial Alignment deck to cheat out a bunch of big deathrattle minions, but other than that the effect is too delayed and insignificant in the context of what deathrattle decks want to achieve, which is getting value off of triggering their deathrattles.

This has way better stats for the cost than Twilight Flamecaller and can scale in effect. This can trigger Mordresh Fire Eye by itself. The AoE becomes really powerful if you scale up your HP with Wildfire. If HP Mage sees play, which I think it will, Reckless Apprentice will definitely see play in the archetype.

This is basically two mana to upgrade your HP, which you used to pay six mana for back in the day with Justicar Trueheart (not counting Baku the Mooneater). I think this enables Mordresh Fire Eye easily and can turn your HP into a Darkbomb every single turn. My only concern with this archetype is that this HP won't be able to compete with Lord Jaraxxus, which may demand a more combo package with Conjure Mana Biscuit and Potion of Illusion.

With Wildfire and Reckless Apprentice, I think this condition isn't going to be hard to accomplish. There might be a deck that runs 2 copies of both Conjure Mana Biscuit and Potion of Illusion to get 2 Mordeshs to play the following turn to push out thirty face damage, and the cherry on top is that Mordresh Fire Eye can be tutored with Taelan Fordring. I can easily see HP Mage becoming a deck because of this and Wildfire making your HP become a threatening tool.

Aggressive Rogues already have enough mana cheat that they often don't have a hand size to warrant activating this for discounts. The only way I see Efficient Octo-bot being played is in an OTK Rogue where this acts like a cheap Emperor Thaurissan, which I don't see happening this expansion, but maybe in the future.

While Priest may be good at generating cards, they aren't as good at keeping a hand. At least Palm Reading isn't a dead card when your hand size is low. also, I think Priest has a good amount of efficient removal effects that they don't need to run one that is so conditional like Void Flayer,

This is a monster of a card to cheat out or resurrect, but those effects aren't available for Injured Marauder this expansion. No deck wants to pay four mana for only a 5/4 taunt, but if the mentioned tools arrive in future expansions, then this will prove to be a cheaper Damaged Stegotron.

A slightly better deal than Ornery Tortoise, but that isn't saying much. One extra health is nowhere near worth taking three damage.

This is basically a guaranteed Doomsayer, but restricted to a 3 damage AoE. That being said, the AoE being guaranteed is pretty powerful as it prevents the opponent from playing much minions for fear that they get removed for "free" or that they become easier to remove. This and the fact that Sigil of Flame is cheap is something that OTK DH wants to run, and I imagine they make room for at least one copy.

Obviously, I don't think Team 5 would print Twin Slice 2.0 here, but I think Soul DH and Aggro DH will like the cheap guaranteed attack buff to push damage and enable synergies like Bladed Lady.

This is basically a more conditional Illidari Felblade with some slight additional upside. Considering how Felblade saw no competitive play once DH became refined, I don't think Kurtrus Ashfallen has much of a chance for competitive play.

This gives you the same healing as Rotten Applebaum but on a cheaper body that's easier to fit into a turn and has more efficient stats. Warlock loves the cheap healing and defensive nature of Death's Head Cultist, and I could easily see this becoming a defensive staple across control decks like Tar Creeper of old.

A more balanced version of Sorcerer's Apprentice, which probably means this won't see much play. Arcane Luminary has the issue of only discounting spells you generate rather than all of your spells, making it harder to consistently take advantage of the effect. The only way I see this being played is in a Mage deck with elemental synergies, which is losing a key card in Elemental Allies, so that deck is probably going to become fringe competitive this expansion.

This is the only watch post whose effect isn't standalone, which probably makes it the worst watch post. The effect is board-centric and even somewhat aggressive, but no aggressive deck wants to run a minion that can't attack and no control deck will consistently have a board to care about the effect.

This is basically a mix between Vulpera Scoundrel and Primordial Explorer. Venomous Scorpid helps generate value and can trade into any minion, unlike Scoundrel. This almost demands the opponent to have in-hand removal to remove it, which means your Scorpid consumed an in-hand resource while you generated an in hand resource. I think this easily fits into Priest, but I could also see this in other slower decks from other classes since Scorpid is an annoying and resource efficient minion.

There is an interesting prospect with this in aggro decks that mostly contain 1-3 cost cards and cap out with Kazakus, Golem Shaper. There are some devastating tempo combinations at five mana, especially Gromsblood. This still fits into slower decks that can reasonably make room for it, but I still think aggro decks will have an easier time slotting in Kazakus.

This is almost like a Gadgetzan Auctioneer for half the cost. The thing is, Rogue Is paying less than three mana for their card draw right now with Secret Passage; Cutting Class; and Swindle, though I could totally see Field Contact working in a heavy Combo deck, if one of the mentioned draw cards are nerfed, or once the mentioned draw cards rotate.

Consecration proves that a four-mana two-damage AoE is relevant, and this has scalable armor gain on top of the AoE. Rancor can just be a card that just shuts out aggressive decks, which means it will probably see a lot of play in Control Warriors.
