Your visible Rank has nothing to do with you matchmaking since the mmr is not based on your Rank. Think of it as if everyone is a legendplayer, but  the number is covered by a Ranksymbol that gets reset every Month while your legendnumber doesn't.

We simply don't know how the mmr gets calculated and that's a good thing. Otherwise some players would  exploit it to win more games.

DH already has some Big DH cards, I'm sure we will see more support for it in the next expansion

So I've noticed some kind of jo-jo effect when playing ladder. It starts by climbing from diamont 5 diamont to diamont 3/2 without any major problems and then I suddenly start going back to diamont 4.

Does that mean that I'm unlucky or that the deck is actually bad and I was just lucky to get that far?

ps: I've already hit legend a few months ago,

I never update my decks for a new expansion, I usually delete all of them and build completely new ones from scratch.

I'm looking forward to: highlander mage with Magtheridon, some typ of controll warlock (probably Plottwist),secret/stealth rogue, Galakrond Priest, racist/ book paladin and ofcourse any Deamonhunter deck.

I mean it certainly is some form of skill when you have to decide wether you want to destroy all minions now or if it's not worth enough and you want to keep it for a singletarget removel later in the game.

A slow effect on a slow card in a class that either don't care about it (Handlock) or barely have any cards on Turn 5 ( zoolock). I'd say this won't see play

Yes and you can DE it afterwards to even make profit. But crafting it in golden is only worth it when you don't have a normal one.
