  • The only way I can see this being viable is if there is a reliable way to consistently have a board of at least 2 minions going into turn 4. Too slow otherwise.

  • Initially, I didn't think Elemental Shaman would make it, but looking at this list I'm actually quite hopeful. I'm not as sure about Earth Revenant as about Arid Stormer and Lilypad Lurker. He just might be cut in a refined version.

  • Good effect, but I doubt this will end up in any refined lists. I feel like the 2/2 themselves are going to be more important than the fact that they have lifesteal.

  • This is getting released alongside some other strong 4 mana cards to make sure not every deck includes Kazakus, as obviously this is a very powerful card. Notable is also that the initial deck can have other 4 mana cards. The battlecry will be active as soon as they're all drawn.

A deck like this might just work out. At least, I don't think the 2 Matrons will be much of a liability.

  • Demon Hunters don't have token support. Likely won't see play outside of Arena.

  • Of similar power level as the new Venomous Scorpid, though Pack Kodo is better at going face. Something Hunters like to do a lot.

  • Bad card. Even if you can get this fairly cheap, you have yourself a +3/+5 buff. Well, congrats I guess.

  • 3 mana deal 4 damage is quite common. Those spells have seen play in the past. This one has an upside in the form of lifesteal. I'm not sold on it, but it might see play.

  • This card is as strong as the deck itself. Thrash if the deck is thrash, amazing if the deck appears to be amazing.

  • Strong card. If Beast Hunter will be a thing. This card will be in there.

  • It's like cord dancing if Priests are going to pull this off. Balancing on a thin line. They have to generate enough spells and keep them in hand instead of playing them. The generating part is not the problem, but keeping them in hand long enough for Void Flayer to make sense is already more questionable.

  • Professor Slate synergy. A very versatile card that ticks a lot of boxes of things that Hunters like to do. And yes, a moment of silence please for On the Hunt.

  • Underwhelming card. Pounce, a card from the Core set is probably better, albeit in a different class.

  • Not only is this too slow, it's too useless either.

  • It's not bad, but why would you want to run this? It just doesn't do a whole lot. Maybe if we ever see a Tempo Priest this card makes sense.

  • Seems like an obvious inclusion for Elemental decks.

  • A comeback card for Murlocs? Interesting. Usually, you lose the game the moment you lose the board as a Murloc player. This card may change that. At least in Standard, I expect this card to be in Murloc decks as a back-up plan.

  • Might not even be strong enough for Murloc decks.
