  • Super bad stats for this card, I don't really see this getting any play outside of maybe some use with cards like Chenvaala. It is interesting how this card can give you any of the new 1 mana sidequests. Here are a couple good hits from each class:

Paladin could get a couple secrets and cheap buff cards.

Mage has a bunch of nice 1 mana spells.

Druid has Floop's Glorious Gloop, Worthy Expedition.

Hunter has Tracking or Secret Plan.

Priest has Power Word: Shield, Mind Vision, Cloning Device, Holy Smite and Embalming Ritual.

Rogue has Togwaggle's Scheme, Deadly Poison or Pilfer.

Shaman has Lightning Bolt, Earth Shock and Blazing Invocation.

Warlock actually has lots of good hits, namely Mortal Coil, Plague of Flames and Soulfire.

Warrior has Shield Slam, Omega Assembly and Devastate.

This is just some of the cards it can give, it certainly is a decent card but I don't think you will ever dedicate a deck slot to include this guy. Probably only see play in decks which can abuse 1 mana spells or found through discover and random effects.

  • Seems like a nice card, although unsure on what deck it goes into.

Lackeys have been rather underwhelming in Warrior thus far. Tempo Warrior has so many better 3 mana plays that I don't see this making the cut. A slower more control based Warrior might run it for the armor gain maybe, but again there are so many other cards fighting for that 3 mana slot.

Not a bad card by any means, I just don't see it having an impact until after rotation.

  • They finally did it!

High Priest Thekal just became so much riskier to play. This card is obviously entirely dependant on the meta, but I do believe its nice that Druid and Warrior cannot just sit there all game and hide behind their armor. This should have quite a nice impact on Wild, lots of really greedy combo/control decks there.

  • Difficult to fully judge the card, very interesting design.

I guess 'new copy' would be without buffs, so the bigger the minion originally the better obviously. Target the enemy Mountain Giant then death and you have a pretty annoying sticky threat on board. Even against aggro it isn't completely awful to just target a 1 or 2 cost minion for some early board pressure.

I think because its a cheap card with decent baseline stats this card will see some play. The huge potential of this guy in the late game vs bigger minions is pretty huge and it should also do well against fast decks.

  • Comparable to Chillmaw.

Doesn't have taunt, but it also doesn't damage your own board. Seems like an exceptionally powerful tool against any aggressive or midrange deck. Should see lots of play in dragon Priest decks going forward.

  • Very odd for Hunter to get a hammer, looks like and has the name of a Shaman weapon.

Well this is directly comparable to Eaglehorn Bow but you gain extra attacks not with secrets but with dragons. Seems decent in that regard, however will dragon Hunter be a deck? My guess is no, and probably will only be run in a Highlander deck.

Primordial Explorer, Carrion Drake, Emeriss and Veranus probably isn't enough support to fully enable the dragon Hunter archetype, just enough for a highlander variant that doesn't run secrets. In that case you would run this weapon over Eaglehorn Bow I would imagine.

  • This is one of those niche epics that you will open 6 copies of.

Yeah this likely won't see too much play. The obvious usage is within big decks, but it doesn't really come out early enough for the mana cheat to be considerably impactful. Could be pretty nice to give your opponent a 10 mana Innervate though.

  • Well this is interesting, similar to the card Gurubashi Offering but much harder to kill and with a much greater payoff.

It's similar to Doomsayer in its usage, another tool to slow down aggro decks if they become problematic. Whether this card sees any play is entirely meta dependant, would require a super heavy aggro meta to consider having this take a deck slot.

  • Yet another completely crazy card for this set, should be auto include in every single dragon deck going forward, not much more to say than that really.

  • Should be quite good with cards like WaxadredShadow of Death or Togwaggle's Scheme.

Basically just think of any card which has this effect and this guy becomes good. Still quite a slow card however, needing to shuffle first before and then playing this guy. Compare it to Subject 9 where it just draws cards you have in your deck anyway and is much faster because of it.

  • Every single one of these "transform while in hand" cards has been bad.

Shifter Zerus, Chameleos, Molten Blade, Shifting Scroll and none of them were ever any good. Could be a fun card, but the sheer amount of variance in this means it likely will not see any competitive play.

  • Decent design but I don't think it will see much play.

It takes too much time to snowball, I think Beaming Sidekick is just a faster and more powerful card if minion health is part of your game plan. Probably pretty good for Arena if played turn 1 and not removed, but for constructed I think its too slow to really see play, in Wild where mech decks are more potent it could possibly see some play.

  • As of now I can see Rogue, Warrior and Warlock playing this card. However I do not see this making the cut in Priest.

Depending on how many Invoke cards there are, this card might see play out of necessity rather than power level.

  • Right now I don't see its usage in Standard and I doubt it will see any serious play.

However as more mechs are printed, and also within Wild this card could be pretty nasty to come across. Seems kind of worthless in Arena also, could maybe hide a powerful mech after trading and making it awkward for your opponent to remove I guess.

  • Unfortunately the reveal video doesn't show if the eggs are deathrattle, my guess is they are not in which case this card isn't extremely powerful if the eggs can be traded off by your opponent.

Obviously the battlecry could be quite nice with Shudderwock, and the eggs are effectively 0/3 taunts because you definitely do not want them to hatch.

Could see play but if there is counter-play to the eggs hatching, then this card doesn't seem to be that powerful.

  • A deceptively powerful card, Soggoth the Slitherer did see fringe play and this card is simply better.

I feel this card will work best in Paladin. Dragon Speaker and Dragonrider Talritha will really love to hit this guy, and if either of them do it will be a absolute pain for so many decks to deal with.

Looks like an arena pack filler, but I genuinely see this card being played.

  • Its not awful, but you certainly won't put this guy in your deck. It's only good from random effects. Cards like this might appear good on paper, but their effects are simply too 'fair' to actually see competitive play.

Really solid in arena, potentially a new North Sea Kraken.

  • 2 mana Zola the Gorgon for dragons, seems pretty good.

Especially potent with the new priest card Fate Weaver, also the new explorer discover cards like Azure Explorer. This has got a huge amount of potential in the upcoming meta. Can see this as a staple in any dragon based highlander decks, and also in any mid to late game dragon decks. Very powerful card.

  • Rather uninteresting card that likely will not see play.

In a similar vein to Hecklebot however it does not offer the same combo disruption capabilities. In wild this could be used to dilute the resurrection pool for Priest. Has some synergy with cards like Mind Control Tech or Drywhisker Armorer, but outside of that will likely end up being detrimental to play this card against most decks.
