I mean I think it's kinda fair to not just forget about Wild, but it sucks for Standard because there really aren't any other competitive Warlock decks around
Is Warlock making a comeback? Zoo Warlock has seen a surge in play that is completely exclusive to the top legend meta at the end of August. New builds running Pen Flingers have emerged with strong individual results, so it might be an indication that the archetype has found a new level or two.
-from the Vicious Syndicate Data Reaper Repoort that just came out
Cabal Acolyte was an annoying turdstain and he deserved it. Priest didn't need a 4-mana 2/6 taunt that comes with a 1-mana Mind Control.
Secret Passage is basically just a power curb, but I guess that's the idea. If they wanted to kill the card they would have increased the mana cost. It's still going to be a staple, but it's not gonna win you the game as much.
Goliath buff seems...a bit over the top. The card wasn't bad at all, it's just that Totem Shaman sucks. Now it curves into bloodlust and is just a good card for Shaman in general. Maybe some sort of token/totem midrange Shaman can exist? Either way, overbuffing the card this much doesn't give me much hope for future Shaman sets
Willow buff is actually pretty pog. I think the most interesting part is the nerf to her stats though. It doesn't really make sense to go from a 9-mana 7/7 to an 8-mana 5/5 (she would have been just fine with the buff alone), which makes me think there's a lot of Big Demon support coming in the future and they're essentially balancing around that.
dunno, didn't get my disenchanted rares (from nerfs) so that doesn't count. I think.. I just now am missing one rare I didn't ever had in sholomance so I can report next month if this is something you can get.
I mean I'm pretty sure it's the case because what are the odds of getting 5 specific cards as normals within 5 packs right after completing the rare collection for Scholomance. If that was just coincidence then I must be the unluckiest person in the world, because all that RNG could have gone towards a golden leggy
Now I have to explain this, but it is something that seems like it can't just be a coincidence.
After opening my initial packs in Scholomance I had opened a bunch of golden rares (about 5 total). Now I never keep golden rares because I don't like to waste extra dust, however, with the no duplicate rule it makes it so a golden rare counts to the limit, meaning you won't be able to open normal copies until after you've collected all the rares in the set. This, I thought, would mean that there is very little chance of getting the non-golden rares from packs to be able to disenchant the golden ones.
However, today I opened my ranked rewards and for some reason I got all of the remaining non-golden rares from the Scholomance set (I had previously opened my last missing one a few days ago). Essentially, what I believe to be the case is that there is a seperate no-dupe counter for your non-golden cards that will go into effect once you've opened all rares of a set and will prioritize all cards that you don't own 2 non-golden copies of. I assume this also applies to commons and epics (and legendaries I guess).
Was this ever explicitly stated? Because regardless it's a very nice QoL feature for those who want to maximize dust and don't care about goldens.
Thalnos isn't essential, he's just very useful. Loot Hoarder works as a substitute I'd say (the spell damage is only relevant in very few instances)
Don't spend any dust you can't afford, it's just barely competitive anyways and it probably won't be around next expansion unless the meta gets even more greedy than it already is.
perhaps you didn't read the guide, but Leoroxx is not the main win condition in this deck. You're not supposed to hold on to your beasts (except Krush) and you're not supposed to wait on the Wildtamers if you can gain tempo with them.
It's only labelled Combo HUnter because Miracle Hunter didn't exist as an archetype yet.
Argent Braggart is 100% going to end up on the nerf list eventually, that card is quite possibly the only reason why Libram Paladin is doing as well as it is.
Alright, I finally went through my whole collection and dusted all the duplicates and goldens that aren't likely to be nerfed soon. Lo and behold, I got enough dust together to craft your list and the Pure Libram Paladin meta deck.
Thank you so much for sharing this, your deck is great fun and competitive enough not to get too frustrated playing it. I only wish Xarkkal was still around, he surely would have enjoyed this.
Happy to hear that. I hope you won't be disappointed in the long run.
no offense, but this just seems like a worse version of Face Hunter.
I can't try it because I don't have Polkelt, but overall you're playing a burn deck with such a large curve and no utility whatsoever that if your opponent ever gets ahead you have no way of coming back (especially since about 20% of your draws are just dead until turn 7)
This looks interesting. Off the top of your head, how would you make a wild version of this?
I wouldn't because it's really slow and mainly reliant on the fact that there's very little healing in Standard currently.
I don't even think there's a point to it in Wild (other than being able to use Fire Fly). Maybe Quick Shot helps with reach, but overall I think the decklist is pretty much set in stone.
Although, while I don't know about your dust bank, both Leoroxx and Slate will remain in Standard for another year and they're both most likely to receive future support (and they're really fun)
Then again, it's not like they're that good anyways, so if you're on a budget you should probably skip this one.
to be fair she does actually look better now.
Leave the slutty costumes for Rogues
I mean I think it's kinda fair to not just forget about Wild, but it sucks for Standard because there really aren't any other competitive Warlock decks around
a little bit of accidental comedy for you:

Apparently Blizzard disagrees
likely future proofing. We're getting more big demon support for sure
Darkglare is just dead (probably for the better)

Jaina before breast implants?

oh that makes sense.
Seems like a pretty bad decision balance wise. Then again, every champion is its own archetype anyways so I guess it won't matter
Wait....do the other regions just not get new champions? Am I missing something here?

Honestly I can't really give that much mulligan advice because I haven't really figured it out myself.
Usually I just try and get a playable 1-drop and keep what I think I need in terms of removal early

I mean...Vectus would, at best, be a 5-mana deal 6 (if you hit double Sandtrooper) so I don't think he's even that impactful, even in face deck
no offense, but this just seems like a worse version of Face Hunter.

Mom, look, I did it, I'm famous now.
I guess I'm gonna write that guide after all

Unfortunate.
