  • So I assume this works like the Dragon Cultist from Galakrond'S awakening? So it's actual draw for Priest

In reply to Thrive in the Shadows
  • Handbuffing is cute and all, but a 3/6 rusher is far from great. Should have been swapped because I fail to see how this would ever live for more than a turn.

  • Pretty good actually. Can immensly annoy your opponent and set them behind or even just ruin them completely if combined with silence (even if that's pretty slow)

  • Ayyy, she's finally here.

I like the non-random burgling effect and it's about time it became part of Rogue's core gameplay. At 2-mana this is flexible enough to be used in multiple situations.

Just take for instance your opponent goes first and plays their 1-drop of choice. YOu can coin this and get a combo activator for later or something similar.

  • Is that Zappy Boy?

Either way, seems like a way better Overload stand-in than Dust Devil. Cheap spell damage shouldn't be underestimated, but I hardly see this being used for tempo

  • Why do I get the feeling that Malygos will end up as a huge headache later down the line. It just looks like some really dumb Druid stuff is going to happen with ramping into Maly and then assembling an entire OTK by turn 6.

  • What do you even do with this? It's a mediocre reload for Zoo after turn 5 but you can't really afford to hold it that long. Plague of FLames is going away too so that's out of the picture.

Maybe they'll try some whacky no-minion archetype for Warlock and this is part of it. We do have Dark Portal after all, so maybe Big Warlock is the intended deck

  • nah thanks I'll just play Wandmaker

  • Can target itself so probably not bad.

If you play this in Libram Paladin at get a turn 4 libram on it yo have a pretty fat minionn just hanging around...unless Libram's aren't holy spells for some reason

  • Pack Filler power creep, RIP Pit Fighter

  • It...exists?

Like sure, throw it into your deck, why not? Doesn't have any particular synergies but it won't hurt either. Probably a top tier arena card.

Perhaps Shuffle Rogue can do something with it, but I highly doubt that's anything but a meme

  • Mediocre anti combo tool and occasional cheat engine (even though you need at least 6 mana at which point cheating out something bigger isn't that relevant)

  • Really seems like more of a Warrior or Paladin legendary doesn't it?

Warrior can combo with Inner Rage for a quick Hellfire, Paladin can just buff it and run it into something for variable amounts of damage (Blessing of Might meta pog)

Should at least appear in Libram Pally (since Pure is going away anyways unless they print more support)

  • Pretty sure this is just playable at 1 and will never lose relevance throughout the game...unless of course there's way better stuff yet to come and you don#t even need this

  • So assuming that all Shaman spells are nature by default (not regarding special cases) this seems pretty good.

We've seen the huge difference between 1 and 2 spell damage before and this comes with 3 for a very moderate cost.

Unless all of Shaman's Burn spells aren't qualified as nature (where would Lava Burst fall actually?) we basically have a reliable finisher

  • This will look really stupid if they decide to not include Auctioneer in the core set.

Either way, the trend of no context 0-mana Priest spells continues. Maybe in 3 years we'll get a payoff

  • Dire Mole at worst, an escalating threat at best.

Probably not gonna be used for its intended effect (especially since in Midrange Hunter you kinda don't want some vanilla statted dino in the later stage but rather some bigger or stickier stuff)

Still a good sign for a return to Midrange Beast Hunter (I can't even tell you how tired I am of seeing only Highlander Hunters)

  • Quote From Tumbleweedovski

Will The Marsh Queen finally be viable?

No, this pretty much worse than Raptor Hatchling in Wild

  • Looks pretty fantastic for ramp Druid. It's basically an easy way to catch up after ramping with Overgrowth on 4. You run this into whatever it can survive and you just removed a minion while putting a fat taunt in the way.

On the flipside opponents can play around it by building a high attack threat that it can't trade into and live

  • wouldn't that make her way too good in Paladin though? Her main strength is drawing and casting a buff from your deck with the worst outcomes being First Day of School and Libram of Justice.

With those two eliminated she would be a 4-mana (assumign 0-cost activator) 4/7 at worst with exclusively amazing other outcomes
