to be fair, Discolock worked out eventually in RR.
MOst of the Quests were overhyped because we didn't realize how much of a downside skipping turn 1 with one less card in your mulligan would be.
Lakkari Sacrifice was also the first time Discard became a legit archetype, so people didn't realize how inconsistent it was.
As a payoff card it was pretty damn strong, but it was very difficult to get there without getting overwhelmed since you couldn't rely on not discarding your answers and comeback tools.
8 mana and does not remove big threats does not seem too good, and you need a lot of spell power to make this remove 8 life creatures like the boards filled with Dragonqueen Alexstrasza
although this gives you the entire 1-2-3 curve there are some terrible beasts.. like River Crocolisk. still it's a card generator so if you are middrange/low curve deck you would like some cheap generation I guess.
playing a 2-mana 2/3 isn't bad unless you actually put it in your deck
that's actually pretty damn strong. Wisp meta incoming?
Since it only specifies "this turn" the threat remains. It's just an awkward play if you're already ahead.
One of the few genuinely good Paladin cards in this set. Maybe Pure Librams will be good enough after all (also you can double the attack on the next turn if the guy sticks)

Raise Dead is going to be the key card
that's what Hagatha's Scheme is for

nice, that means eventually Pirate will come back, yay
Also, off topic: has anybody else noticed that they changed the card art for Southsea Strongarm in Battlegrounds? She's a blonde now for some reason?
About time we get a female Warrior skin.
BUt what do those Hero alternates mean? Doesn't really sound like paid skins
you forget the 1-mana Hunter/DH weapon that forces minion attacks.
That one's absolutely huge with this.
not sure about this. I guess it helps your hero power on curve, but it's really just a one time buff because there's usually no way this stick around.
OUtside of being good for arena there is a legitimate argument to put this in Stealth Rogue if only for more consistency with Greyheart Sage.
as with the other ones, great for Arena, but that's about it.
good try, but way too slow
There are a few deck where this can be an insane opener. If you're on the coin and you have another 1-mana card it's also pretty good.
Perhaps it replaces Blazing Battlemage?
These sound great for arena. BAsically Twinspell minions.
wouldn't want to go without the absolute memes, right?
10/10
He has ASCENDED
I'd consider it decent. It allows for some funky combos with other rush synergies
Obligatory Taunt Warrior card that's never going to see play.

Huge potential, but difficult to really get big value out of. Priest isn't that good at damaging minions. They usually just kill them right away
remember when they printed Holy Water omegalul
on demand spell damage is never a bad thing, and a 1/3 weapon for two isn't bad either.
