Zer'Ontu - Its playable but Ive no idea whether it'll be that meta breaker or card that brings priest alive. On its own, its not a bad card. Mini-Oakheart that fetches Arachnathid and befuddled summoner at minimum while putting out a massive taunt on 7 is really good, but in priest at best it protects your face for a turn, because theres no chance you snowball from this card.
Servant of Zuramat - Silence on the cheap, something priest has been missing for a while. But ironically to make full use of ZerOntu probably means this card isnt going into the deck. Probably niche use whenever egg decks get oppressive, not that priest ever struggles against such decks anyway.
Blade of the Black Empire - Its a card that is only good if its bad, if that makes sense. The moment this card is good, expect to see vipers everywhere, rendering it harmless. On the other hand if its not good, then whats the point even playing it in competitive?
Elder word: Im a rift in my past life - All these elder word cards are just rifts which we have seen before. At least theyre largely not shit, and would do well in quest priest to get that completion done even faster than before.
Ravitz - Its buffed up Ace hunter Kreen. Probably would see some play but like the 29th or 30th card in your deck. Kinda like a luxury card thats interesting but likely wont do much else than look good sometimes.
Sigil of Hatching - Its way too slow and is not better than horn of feasting, but its designed so you can take full advantage of shakar.
Encircle - Its actually unironically good in a class that dont really have answers to big minions. Just play this and remove your opponents minions. At least its neither a fel spell or an outcast card so it cant be discovered, a mercy considering how often dhunter gets out of jail with illidari studies and hive map.
Broodqueen Sha'kar - Its gonna be nerfed to 6 or have its conditions nerfed to 6. Its like if you leave even a single minion on board on turn 4 you probably get fucked. It also means your best option against a dhunter now is technically just clear and leave no minion on your side on turn 4, just to stop sigil of hatching from ruining your game. Basically its like this card is a quest reward which when triggered, brings back really bad memories from the stormwind meta.
So priest and dhunter. Good cards with good win-cons, but more importantly dont look like they just got shafted next expansion. Hopefully the trend continues.
Servant of Zuramat is powercreep so obvious that it has poor Ironbeak owl crying in the corner. That being said it probably should have been a neutral.
