This summer's Fire Festival event is going green! Well, possibly.
We've datamined a new card that was added to the client in today's patch - Fel-Ragnaros the Firelord! As always, please remember that datamined information may be inaccurate and is always subject to change.
This 60-health hero is associated with Tavern Brawls and has an internal note indicating it is a part of the "FelFirefest" brawl. His hero power? Swat Fly, the same hero power present in the Brawl of Ice and Fire which we saw back in 2018.

What all of this says to us is that Ragnaros has had his data cloned in preparation for a new Tavern Brawl in the summer. We'll likely have an art update since we can't imagine Ragnaros will continue to glow his usual orange and red, a proper Fel-Ragnaros needs to be green!
Considering that the soon to be released expansion, Ashes of Outland, is a home filled with Fel energy and it will be the active expansion come Midsummer Fire Festival time, it makes sense that we'll be seeing some wicked green energy.
