Same here. Filled out the crosswords, it turned green and "You're not able to earn this achievement" popped up in red in bottom right corner.

This is fixed. The achievement was flagged incorrectly as not being active.
So we need to do this again?

Btw a personal question, if you developped this game... are you planning publishing it in github or some other site for being replayed with custom words?
