It can also buff a minion over the 7-Attack line in which case it dies to BGH. ;)
When the silence is actually a transform effect that more or less destroys the minion you buffed, and doing so for only half the mana? And that Plague of Murlocs is going to be an auto-include for any Control Shaman lists? Yep, i'll say it is bad.
Or I could bring up Sap, which costs even less mana and is run in 2s with every standard rogue list out there worth its weight.
It's cool to get hyped but let's not be blinded by hype for overhyping yet another card.
Noone is blinded for hype. They are just tired of people saying "woops, it's vulnerable to silence or sap...guess it's a bad card! hurr durr!"
(i.e. You!)
For the record, GENERALLY SPEAKING...any card that gives a minion divine shield, people only play when a minion survives to pop the shield immediately. Meaning in terms of a SMART player, getting value out of this; even against Plague of Murlocs....You'll gain +4 attack and a body that survives with taunt.
Immortal Prelate is one of my favorite cards. This is a wonderful card for that as well as reducing the cost of tiger loa.
Wish we got to name it Fluffy Palley Cat, but on the other hand, having the right translation so fast is probably much better.
I don't know if Divine Shield + Taunt is worth 2 Mana on top of Blessing of Kings, still susceptible to single target removals and board wipes anyway (unlike Spikeridged Steed that was actually sticky and not just divine shield)
Good With The Quest
It's not terrible but not terribly exciting either.
I don’t get it. 6 mana for this or for another body better stats Sunwalker. I guess this is pseudo charge/trade but hey what do I know..
Solid midrange card, obvious comparison is Spikeridged Steed. Will see play in most Paladin decks, if there are any.
A closer comparison would be [Hearthstone Card (A New Challenger…) Not Found]
At least this is better.
I disagree, A New Challenger doesn't do anything the turn its played.
It summons a minion with Taunt and Divine Shield, pretty sure that's a significant effect...
I mean that it has a buff that you can attack with right away.
It is weaker than Spikeridged Steed, because deathrattle part was pretty important against single target removal
How original.
Yeah, I am kind of disappointed that this is what we get after two days without reveals :/
