Forged in the Barrens is here and it is time for a magical deck roundup featuring the Arcane, Frost, and Fire professionals - Mages!

  • Use these decks the way they are or as a base to find your own path in Forged in the Barrens.
  • Decks that are doing well today may not be doing well tomorrow - the meta is rapidly evolving.
  • We are not suggesting you craft any cards yet. If your dust is important to you, wait 1-2 weeks after launch to let the meta settle a bit.

Looking for more Mage decks? You can find more decks for this class in our Mage Deck Database that has plenty of decks for Forged in the Barrens.

DMoney's Hero Power Mage

One of the archetypes I was most excited for, it looks like Hero Power Mage is a strong force out there in the early Forged in the Barrens meta. The deck feels like one of the heaviest control decks that Mage has ever had access to with the constant strong pings, board clears, and even a bit of frost.

Meati's No Minion C'Thun Mage

We've got a little bit of the Hero Power package making its way into No Minion Mage which is an exciting addition for controlling smaller minions alongside the spell that was made to give more life to this archetype, Refreshing Spring Water. Have fun cheating out C'Thun, the Shattered pieces thanks to Incanter's Flow.

If you want to see a video of a very similar list, Old Guardian has you covered.

Posesi's Spell Mage

A variant of No Minion Mage from Japanese Legend player, Posesi.
