Starting with the Rise of Shadows pre-release event on April 5th, Microsoft Stores will be hosting Fireside Gatherings and there will be prizes!
- Open to everyone 13+.
- Devices will be provided to players so you can show up unequipped unlike the usual Fireside Gatherings.
- Some store Hearthstone accounts will be provided that have Whizbang the Wonderful unlocked.
- The partnership appears to be running until mid-July.
Where? When?
- Events will run monthly on Wednesdays from 5:30 PM - 9 PM.
- Different local stores may have different dates and times.

There’s nothing quite like going to a coffee shop, game store, restaurant, inn, or tavern with a group of friends and indulging in one of your favorite pastimes. Fireside Gatherings have taken off in a big way since they were first introduced in 2014, and we want to get that experience to even more players than ever before.

Microsoft Stores offer a curated selection of PCs, gaming consoles, tools, and software, and are present throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. And starting this month, they will be hosting regular Fireside Gatherings! Your friendly Microsoft Store Gaming Expert will be donning their Innkeeper apron to help you with:
- Your first steps into Fireside Gatherings
- Fireside Brawls
- The Fireside Friends card back
- Friendly in-store competition
- …and even Nemsy Necrofizzle herself!
The Microsoft Store Fireside Gatherings program will kick off April 5 – April 8 2019, coinciding with the Rise of Shadows Pre-Release. Following Pre-Release, each Microsoft Store Fireside Gathering experience will normally run from 5:30pm – 9:00pm monthly on Wednesdays, although times and dates may vary per store. Please check your local Microsoft Store page for exact dates and times, and to pre-register.
Please note that registration does not guarantee a seat at the table—it’s first come first served, so be sure to arrive early to ensure your spot. There are Microsoft Store prizes for players, but more importantly, we hope you’ll leave with new secrets, strategies, and new friends to play Hearthstone with!

Not even 1 shop in my country :(
Seems like a good initiative, hope they'll launch something similar that also reaches other continents (hint, hint: Europe).
Would be cool, tho probably easier to beta-test something like this closer to home for them (us/can) and also probably easier to tackle all the necessary regulations by having all the stores in the same country. Europe, even tho there is EU, might be a bit harder to navigate in that regard.
There's a little problem: there are no Microsoft stores in Europe, or at least, I can not found them online (their website is soooo bad). They'll need another place for something like this...
