Discussion

As the class lineups were decided by Blizzard, extensive discussion of the picks is not sensible. The clear favorite of the players seem to have been Demon Hunter-Priest-Rogue as half of the field decided to make that as the basis of their lineup. The support for other four strategies was more even (1, 2, 2, and 3 picks, respectively).

Result-based Discussion

Popular does not equal effective. Out of this week's top 8, only two players were in the DH-Priest-Rogue hype train and only one was able to advance to semifinals. The final was a match between the only two Druid-Mage-Paladin lineups brought this week, and in a true mirror lineup fashion it went all the way to game 5. In the end, xBlyzes was victorious and denied Bunnyhoppor's back-to-back victories in this final season of Grandmasters.

The winner of the second week of Trio.

Bunnyhoppor is in a clear points lead before the final week, followed by this week's winner xBlyzes. You can find the full points standings on the official tournament site.
